I stayed at the Jw Marriott Maquis hotel for three days. The service provided was excellent and everything dealt with in a very efficient and satisfying way. I used the gym three times and all was in a good status. The explanation from the trainer and his help to start the jogging device was good. I was also pleased by the Concierge staff Daniel he was so helpful too.In the evening they prepared all for the night. I slept very well also according to the pillow service they provide. I got exactly what I was asking for and that is very rare compared with other hotels. The breakfast and dining room service was as well excellent. Collapse

We are a family of 3 who had our first holiday in Dubai- this being our only hotel we have ever stayed in, in Dubai. The 4 star rating we have given does not take anything away from the hotel itself, it's just more of a personal preference. Being our first time in Dubai we were not 100% sure what we were choosing and did find that the hotel was much further away from the location we would have preferred- that being an area near the beach or JBR walk or Marina. Now onto the hotel itself, there is not enough praises to be said about it. Believe me when I say you'll be treated so special it's quite unreal. We want to mention quite a few people as we did stay for 2 weeks and so we got to know a lot of staff. The men outside are always ready to help, calling you a taxi, opening your doors, carrying your bags and taking your shopping to your room. Jacob, Rodel, Rozaldo, Dante Tino, Gopi, Aakash, Adnan, Farkhod and Shekharan deserve a huge thank you for everything they did for us. Since day 1 Jacob and Aakash helped us so much, with advice about where to go for food or best times to visit certain places. They made us feel so welcome and like we had known them for ages. Both of these men looked after my son so much and he's really missing them!! I want to thank Tarun at check in for helping to accommodate us so well and checking up on us throughout the holiday. Kitchen6 is a must try in this hotel. We had breakfast included in our package and it was something we had never experienced. The choice will leave you speechless and the service in Kitchen6 is probably some of the best we had experienced during our holiday. We have to thank a lot of people here because they work so so hard to make your breakfast experience the best. Jaime, Yves and Candra were amazing everyday greeting us, remembering things about what we like- coffee orders for me and my daughter or remembering we like tissues on our table (just small things that you don't expect people to remember). We had lovely chats with these 3 boys in particular and they made our breakfast incredibly enjoyable. Matthew, Nikhil, Dyah, and the boys behind the coffee bar (who's names we did not get) in Kitchen 6 deserve recognition, as they were so helpful and we really are missing the coffee they make. Sreejit who works in the lobby was so funny and kind every time we saw him, making jokes with us! Fatima who also works in the lobby deserves a mention for always having a smiley face and being so bubbly. Also want to mention Saager who works at the pool who saw me coughing and kindly bought me over hot tea, lemon and mint. These small gestures just make the experience even more special. Overall, this hotel may not be everyones preference as it is a business based hotel which we did not realise, but that does not take away the service and care provided. When we come to Dubai again we would love to come back and visit the staff :) Collapse

My first stay in This hotel; the good points - nice big rooms, good food and high standards of service. The challenges - metro is not close by, hotel is huge and can get extremely crowded, Breakfast could be better as it seems "industrial" and meant to cater to 1000 people. Pool area could be much better. The Team at Positano, especially the head chef is very helpful and welcoming. Also Hani in the events team. Lunch buffet is quite good. So are most of the restaurants. The size of the hotel is huge, as it's made of two sky scrapers connected by a multi story lobby building encompassing restaurants and cafes. Before stepping in to this big hotel, one could have that assumed the personal touch in service is easily lost, but, especially the Executive Lounge staff proved it wrong. Special thanks to Naseer for fixing up a small meal between condiments service hours as I suddenly had to dash off to an unscheduled meeting! Collapse

Superbreak star ratings are given as a guide to help you choose between our hotels and do not necessarily relate to those awarded by other organisations.
They symbolise the level of service and range of facilities that you can expect at the property; ranging from 1 star - hotels with the simplest range of facilities, to five stars - luxury hotels with a wider range of facilities.
Please note that different countries have different standards and star ratings may differ according to the country where the hotel is located.
