Jury's Inn hotel was within an easy walk of the old town square, the river, Wenceslas square etc. Great hotel and had some really nice meals and snacks - beer and local sausage etc whilst strolling around Prague. Food and drink reasonably priced and loads going on - musicians everywhere and beautiful architecture. Charles bridge and the lights over the castle and river at night were breathtaking. Collapse

The Jury Inn is in a fantastic location. There is a grocery store and the subway less than 1 minute out the front door. The hotel has a nice bar area, that we utilized. The rooms were large, although they did not have a lot of space for both luggage and clothes. I gave the closet to my husband and I lived out of the suitcase. They have security elevators, have to use your key to go up. They do have breakfast in the morning. Standard european, fruits, cheese, bread, juices, however the hot food choices, could have been better. I would actually give it 3 1/2 stars. Collapse

We have just spent five nights at this wonder full hotel, the last time we came to Prague (2016) we stayed at the Hilton which is just behind Jury's Inn and found the location to be perfect. This year after reading the reviews for Jury's Inn we decided to come here and what a wise choice it was, we could not fault one aspect of this hotel. I am not sure where to start with the good points, the location is excellent, just step out of the entrance and the number 8 tram will take you to the Old Town and the Palladium shopping centre. Walk 100 metres and you are on one of two Metro lines one running north /south and the other east /west. Or perhaps the staff who are both extremely polite and helpfull whether at the check in or in the restaurant/bar area. We arrived back from the opera nearly an hour after the Bistro closed and enquired if we could have anything to eat, within minutes we had our favourite snack (Praha ham sandwich with fries) Or whether the food is the the star, as well as the previously mentioned sandwich, the breakfast was perfect. While we have stayed at hotels with maybe a slightly wider choice we have never had such consistent quality of food, and over five days we had the cooked breakfast every day and sampled the rest gradually. The tea which is normally poor on the continent was good, as was the pastries selection. We did not eat until about 8.30am and never found a queue or any item having run out. The prices both in the Bistro and at the bar were very reasonable as well. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable and had all of the essentials (BBC 24 news) although the quality of the soap and shampoo could be better. The room temperature was perfect, just the right temperature with no noisy fans to keep you awake at night, and talking of noise this is one hotel where it was absent, the only noise we heard was some one from a neighbouring room banging his door shut one morning. The only downside to the hotel is the lack of the atrium at the Hilton, so you do feel a little squeezed in, but where will we stay next year? Jury's Inn of course There is no spa at the hotel but the staff will direct you to the Hilton where you pay to use the facilities there. We would recommend that instead you go to the INFINIT WELLNESS. To get there take the number 8 tram to Balabenca (about 7 stops or 8 minutes eastwards) after getting off the tram if you look across and upwards you will see a tall building with STEP WELLNESS written in yellow on the rooftop, cross the road and walk up the slip road towards it, you then go under a wide bridge immediately on the other side of the bridge you will find a metal staircase which takes you up to the STEP WELLNESS AND SPORTS CENTRE. Here you will find the perfect place to relax for a few hours, there are at least six saunas, a steam room, ice machine and a cold plunge pool. There is one sauna that has aufguss throughout the day at regular intervals. There is a proper swimming pool with three lanes for serious swimmers and a large area for children and less ambitious swimmers You only pay from the time you leave the changing rooms until you return so your changing time is free. You get all of this for just £9.50 for 90 minutes! Be aware that like the Hilton there is no swimwear in the sauna areas, but you get a towel and a sheet to cover yourself to preserve your modesty. On your return be aware that the tram stop is about 100 metres further on than the drop off point. Collapse

Free breakfast was good. But the location of the hotel was not great. The hotel suggests it is in the city center, which I don't know technically for sure or not. But it was a good hike to what we considered the City Center. The atmosphere was that of a low quality bar. We were told the hotel was cheap, the alcohol cheaper and the women the cheapest in town. Sadly, the bar is by the front doors so entry and exit from the hotel was uncomfortable. Collapse

Hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful and seemed sincerely interested in your stay being memorable. Buffet breakfast was very nice. Room for two sisters was large with 3 single beds, so we had plenty of room to open up our suitcases on the middle bed! Bathroom was spacious although tub was slippery in the shower, so be careful. Only negative was we found out later that the trams and metro lines could have gotten us where we wanted to go quickly and easily, but we were given walking directions and spent a day walking and not seeing very much. The staff was also very accommodating in offering us 1/2 off for early dinner at the Bistro as an all day tour we booked through the hotel for another day, and which was to have included lunch, had not gotten us to a lunch spot by 3 pm and we were starving & worn out from walking most of that time, so we left the tour and returned to the hotel. Dinner at Bistro was excellent, I including the chocolate dessert!!! The hotel was clean and very quiet even though our room faced the street & tram lines. Beds were very comfy. In room small refrigerator and coffee bar. There was also a convenient grocery store right across the street. Would definitely recommend. Collapse
