We stayed as part of a package organised by the local craft store The Papeterie at Stoneywood Mill nearby, in order to attend a weekend craft retreat. We stayed for 3 nights DBB and had a great time whilst at the hotel: our group had a private dining room for 2 nights and the staff really looked after us. Breakfast was a superb offering - one of the most extensive I've ever seen - self service bread/pastry section, cereals, juice/milk/water, fruit/cold meat selection, good hot choice, and coffee/tea (fruit, green, brown) machine. There was also a variable toaster and a good selection of spreads. Evening meals comprised a good selection of three courses and tea/coffee. Staff were quick to clear away unwanted/dirty dishes as well as replenishing the buffet/serve the next course, but also took the time to chat to visitors too; housekeeping and reception staff were also very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean, spacious and light and airy. They had blackout curtains, comfortable seating and a desk area with complimentary tea/coffee making facilities, LED Freeview TV and direct dial phone. My travelling companion had a disabled accessible room, which gave her more room to get to the beds and desk, as well as a walk in shower, rails around the toilet and wheelchair accessible sink as well as a 2nd normal height sink; the room also had assistance ring pulls around both rooms. My only comment would be that although a chair was provided in the bathroom which could have been used in the shower, a fold-down stool and another grab rail in the shower would have been very welcome. Additional extras included a pen/notepad by the phone and toiletries in the bathroom. The beds were very comfortable, with big duvets and plenty of pillows and although it was the middle of summer I did have to take the duvet out of the cover and open the window to get a more comfortable nights sleep. All in all we had a great stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the Aberdeen area. Collapse

We have just had a great 2 night stay for a friend's wedding here. The staff were great, the room excellent and the food superb. Great value for money. The room and bathroom were very clean, it was quiet and we slept well. The only minor gripe was the quality of the beer. It was all keg with no real ale, but that is forgivable in a venue such as this. Great value for money. Collapse
Could be easily improved.

The hotel needs to adjust the door closers on all corridor fire doors, so if your in a room near these doors they don't slam loudly every time someone comes through them. Easy fix to improve sleep for everyone. Room 74.

I am not a lover of airport hotels, but this one was our home for two night. The hotel is light an airy, the reception team made us most welcome from the beginning. And I must mention Amy and Claire for their help when we had a problem with our booking. Our room was on the low floor and when we went into the room, I must admit that I was speechless. The room was amazing with a big bouncy bed, large tv and a lovely and clean bathroom. There was also a fantastic easy chair I just sunk into. Dinner on the first night was so tasty (we had the 8oz steak and fries and I also had Tomato and mozzarella cheese slices at an addition cost of £3.50, well worth it.) Breakfast on the Saturday was a help yourselves, along with all the components for a full English to a fresh fruit, yogurt, and as much toast, rolls tea and coffee. I was in seventh heaven. As we were there for our nephews wedding, I have to say that it was the best hotel we have ever stayed in, for functions. All the staff are amazing, so polite and eager to please. So we say thank you Jurys Inn you made our weekend wonderful. Collapse
