We have recently returned from the most amazing 10 nights staying at this hotel. We have never stayed anywhere quite like it before ... it was simply wonderful. The hotel, pools, restaurants, kids club and most importantly the staff were incredible. Our room was fabulous, the private dining team (especially Sagar and Santosh) were fantastic and so friendly, helpful and kind to my daughter after she fell over. They even left her a handmade card and some treats the day before were left! The smell in the hotel was so wonderful we purchased it from the hotel shop to remind us of our stay. Highly recommend the steak in the rib room (although all restaurants were superb) and the Friday brunch was awesome (Ana Maria concierge was very helpful). From check in to check out we had the best service we have ever received in any hotel. My daughter cried when we left and the kind man helping us into our taxi on departure went away for a moment and came back with a Barbie type doll to distract her after seeing she was sad to leave. I didn’t get his name but thank you! Outstanding hotel, facilities and service. Loved the gingerbread house and beautiful Christmas tree in reception. We will most certainly be back! Also recommend the Al Iwan restaurant in the Burj al Arab...A must see. Spa is great too. Collapse

Great family resort. It had a real ginger bread house that took the chef over a month to bake and assemble. Staff all very friendly. Had a minor problem with the check-in - wrote the wrong suite number on my card but had it sorted in a jiffy.

At different times of the year I like going to different resorts in Dubai . This is an ideal resort for late summer and early winter I feel. Yes it is away out on the crescent of the palm but you do not feel isolated in any way especially as the hotel runs a courtesy bus to other parts of the hotel chain which is a great benefit for sampling all the restaurants that are on Jumeirah properties. I stayed for 5 days with my mother who suffers from arthritis so I choose this hotel as it is has loads of amenities that aren’t too spaced out. Ie narrow beach that is near the pool and not too much walking to get to things like restaurants. Another reason I choose it was because of the Jumeirah groups half board package deal - it allows you to eat in up to 60 different restaurants within the chains resorts in Dubai and even in Dubai Mall. We utilised this well and ate in the Burj Al Arab (for a small supplement ), had an out of this world afternoon tea in the Sultans lounge , The well known Rib Room , beach restaurant Plaj and at the Madinat Jumeirah in Tortuga. All where brilliant . The hotel itself offers all the trappings of a Dubai 5 Star. The decor is out of this world and very opulent . Service is second to none. Never experienced any problems during our stay. I was even shocked that the guy at the entrance remembered me from my previous visit. Check in was seamless, and we got our room, with my special requests , on arrival at 10 am even tho check in isn’t until late afternoon. I like a room on the marina side as it nice to watch the boats go by sitting in your balcony and it’s good to have the view of the marina and the skydiving. Rooms are beautifully decorated and the bathrooms have the wow factor. My only let down with the rooms is the lighting - feel as if you need a degree to work out what button puts of what light. Or if you hit them in a certain sequence they put out different lights, but that’s all I could say adversely about the rooms. All staff where lovely and friendly , professional and enthusiastic . The beach and pool areas and well kept and well serviced by bar /food staff . Seen people getting inflatables for kids blown up and everything. complimentary bottled water and ice lollies are distributed during the day too. All restaurants where great . Cant recommend the half board offer enough, such choice - definitely go to some in other hotels too. Staff at breakfast where very helpful especially Darya and Michael in the imperium . Separate review done on the imperium and the other food outlets. Now the Spa -WOW What a place , it is exquisite, never been in a spa like it in my life. It even has a snow room ! We didn’t get any treatments , we just used the relaxation facilities of the jacuzzis , pools etc but you need to go , even if only once in your stay. Even though it is still a decent sized hotel it has a very friendly and personalised feel to it . The courtesy bus is a great aspect as it goes between the hotel- wild wadi (complementary access here) - Madinat Jumeirah and the mall of the Emirates . It leaves from 10 am , every 2 hrs and the last one returns about 1130 at night. I’d recommend if your leaving the palm between about 5 and 6 at night - be prepared for all the construction traffic being very busy , so add extra time into your journey. Collapse

Now on our fifth hotel explorations in Palm Jumeirah, we have decided to go ahead and check the very famous Jumeirah Zabeel Saray. We had a sneak peak of this luxurious hotel during our drive towards the 101 Dining Lounge and Bar located in One&Only The Palm. We were mesmerized by the architectural designs and the only thing that has made our stay here pending for a long time is because it is very expensive. But, luckily for us, one day when I went back from Church, I suddenly checked the prices of the hotels in Palm Jumeirah, without expecting to see lower prices. And boy did we really got lucky to find Zabeel Saray having a huge offer, and without a blink of an eye, I quickly made a reservation through Booking.com. The hotel is located on the West Crescent of Palm Jumeirah, approximately 15mins. drive upon entering the Island. The hotel’s interior and exterior has Ottoman-inspired architecture designs, from the marble floors in the lobby up to the chandeliers, everything looks very grandeur. Checking-in got so delayed that we waited for almost an hour, which will really test your patience especially for people like us who want to utilize their stay in a hotel. Thankfully, they gave us a complimentary beverage, and we waited in the lounge outside the hotel and the view of the infinity pool is very refreshing. We got a ‘free upgrade’ of the room, which I won’t really consider a free upgrade because we were allocated in a superior twin room and the view from the balcony is a garden with just grasses on it. And because it is a twin room, the beds have to be moved beside each other, which in my opinion has to be done on the moment they allocated the room to their guests. Feeling that we lost most of our time during the check-in and the staff adjusting the beds in the room, we started to explore the hotel’s facilities. The infinity pool is a slope one but has enough space for the kids and the adults to swim at. It is overlooking the private beach which has a lot of cabanas, but we didn’t try to swim at the beach. We barely had an hour of swim time at the pool, because what we are really looking for to spend our time is at the famous Talise Ottoman Spa. The Spa is already a winner of multiple awards including the ‘Best Spa’ category in the Condé Nast Traveller Middle East Readers’ Choice Awards 2013. The spa is perfect for destressing, relaxation and everything you could think about having your own peace of mind. As advised by the staff in the spa, I should try the jacuzzi for at least 5minutes, head on to the steam room for another 5minutes and 5minutes in the snow room. And I did the routine three times! They also have a thalassotherapy pool where you can enjoy swimming without anyone disturbing you. The Spa is like a heaven, it really made our experience an unforgettable one. After the spa, we went back to our room to rest for a while before heading out for our dinner. And upon our return to the hotel, your options for the bars are limited. Only Voda Bar and Sultan’s Lounge are open until 3AM and are very quiet during the wee hours. The good thing is the MusicHall is just outside the hotel and has a live band playing all night. Luckily we are a guest staying in the hotel we don’t need to reserve a table nor be asked for a minimum charge. The band will play for 30minutes, has a 15 or less minutes of intermission and another act will play again. It was a very lively night to think that we went inside at 1AM. Our room is included with a breakfast buffet at the Imperium. It has a huge dining area with outdoor seating as well. The interiors are very elegant and I love the fact that the ceilings are high, and the staff are very attentive and polite, but, sadly, the buffet spread is very limited. And so after a disappointing breakfast, we explored the other part of the hotel which is the Royal Residences. The name itself implies that an overnight stay here will cost a fortune. The Residences has a lagoon directly connected from the rooms just like the one in Anantara. We then spent some time lounging in the pool, and decided to go back to the Spa. We spent almost 2hours here and never regretted it. The ladies and men’s section are separate, and they have an amazing gazebo where you can have a sip of your coffee. We were given a late check out and so we really utilized our stay. Overall experience is amazing, and we have decided to come back soon! Collapse

Its was the 1st day of my vacation and my best friend and I have decided to book a room in Zabeel Saray and I can say we weren't wrong when we booked here!. Since the moment we have arrived everything was Perfect, Amazing and Luxurious. I was smiling from ear to ear; both of us haven't slept because of the excitement! . unfortunately we didn't access the room immediately since we arrived really early around 8 AM but that was fine. I believe here name was (Sara) in the reception she was a big help to us with the room. We went to Talise Ottoman Spa and OMG!!!! perfect and I really advise everyone that they have to try it. Peace, quite and tranquility. The Massage, the facial perfect. Unfortunately I forgot the name of the ladies since I went to the hotel in August but they were great! Also, something the my best friend and I really loved that in the Spa there is a Private swimming pool for ladies only which is a great plus for Muslim and Arab ladies!! We went to the room after the Spa and I have to say that the decor in the hallway that leads to the room is soo inviting, warming and quite to have a much needed rest or a goodnight sleep. And THE ROOM IS PERFECT!!!! It's more of a suit twin bed! perfect, spacious and the view is amazing since you can see some of the pool area, the sea and from far you can see The Atlantis! Let's not forget about the bathroom! especially the tub; it's like your own mini swimming pool which I will say that my friend LOVED! Now for the Restaurants, perfect! - The lunch we had at the Plaj restaurant after the Spa and the food was so delicious, the pasta and the nachos were excellent and they weren't heavy on the stomach. Also, the breakfast buffet were really mouthwatering and tasty as well. - The dinner we had at The Rib Room, excellent name might I add. the atmosphere was relaxing and quite, I also liked that there weren't loud music playing to ruin the atmosphere and makes you unable to enjoy your surrounding. Might I add as a person who doesn't eat meat regularly I Loved the small steak with the mac and cheese! really that was my first steak I had in my life! and the chocolate desert was soo soo good. I would also like to add to say thanks to the server who served us the Deseret to tell us that the side sauce of the Deseret had alcohol in them since we can't have anything with, really I thank him for that for some might not inform us about is. I know that I wrote alot but really my best friend and I will never forget our stay even though it was only for one night! Collapse
