Just a short walk from the centre of town, this is a charming and attractive hotel. I was impressed with the number of cosy and romantic seating areas located in the hotel, including a large balcony with comfortable chairs, ideal for a sundowner! Our room was large, nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed. There was also a small settee and two chairs and a small desk. The bathroom was a good size with a bath/shower and attractively tiled. Although it was too cold to use the pool, that too looked very attractive and inviting. The gardens and the outside seating areas were also well maintained and attractive. We also enjoyed an excellent dinner in the hotel restaurant, which is located in the gardens adjacent to the hotel. The food was really delicious, beautifully presented and the service discrete and professional, The hotel receptionist was also very friendly and helpful Collapse

The hotel was well situated and offered clean and comfortable accommodations. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. We requested a room change to the quieter side of the building only because the one we had faced the main street. Without hesitation we were given another room. The rooms are spacious, with large closet space, a mini fridge and a large bed. The bathroom was huge. We were lucky that during the time of our visit the hotel was offering a breakfast special for a buffet breakfast at 7 EUR per person. The food was fresh, with a good variety. I highly recommend this place and will stay there again when I return. Collapse

I picked this hotel as it was not too far from the airport and seemed quiet. The hotel is beautifully situated in the palm groves but a short 10 minute walk to the city. The hotel has a lovely outdoor pool in the garden & sauna on the roof , I also saw a small gym but it was too hot for strenuous exercise. The room was a good size, comfortable bed & very clean. The shower was an over bath small head so wasn't expecting much but wow it was really powerful. There was also a radio in the bathroom which was a great touch. Air conditioning was very good & so quiet, didn't even realise it was on until you stepped out the room & felt the heat. WiFi is free & quite fast, there was a TV in the room but never got round to switching it on. Breakfast was very good - great selection of food presented in a very clean setting, it was incredible that with the heat there were no flies. Coffee came out of a machine it was good but mysterious as came out hot but within few minutes was cold, never managed to keep coffee warm enough to drink & enjoy. Meal's were a challenge, lunch in the bar was limited but enjoyed the Caesar Salad & Spanish omelette however at the end of the week I was given a different menu that didn't have an English translation so had to rely on picking out odd words to work out what was on offer & the assistance of the waiter, he seemed a bit surprised when I asked for the English translated menu as if it didn't exist that was a weird moment, but I had a delicious asparagus dish that certainly wasn't on the other menu - all very twilight zone. I have to mention the dogs as really there is no escaping their noise, I was told by reception that there are 4 dogs belonging to their neighbour. What astounds me that the noise nuisance caused by the dogs has been allowed to go on & why has no one taken direct action! The dogs do not just bark they whine particularly when police car goes by with sirens blaring. Still having read trip advisor I was prepared & as the windows were closed because of aircon they didn't really bother me but they do go on throughout the night. Great hotel, lovely staff highly recommend. Collapse

Older, wiser? Getting to know and like these hidden gems / boutique hotels. You won't go wrong with this one - a lovely lovely hotel set in fabulous lawns and gardens on the outskirts ( 5 min walk ) from central Elche. Nice clean rooms with free Air Con and great free fast WiFi. Breakfast clean fresh, hot where necessary, cold where not. Put this hotel on your list if you're undecided and flying / sailing into Alicante or Murcia region. Collapse

We found the experience different from our normal holiday venue primarily because of the distance from any part of the coast and Elche being more of a large town environment. If you are in need of a pharmacy , dentist or doctors , these were in more abundance than any good Restuarant or general shopping area. Although the centre of Elche had a few museums, a cathedral and palm tree plantation this was not enough to capture our interest for 9 days !! . This was the first time we have not hired a car whilst on holiday in Spain but felt the bus service from Elche to other areas i.e Alicante, Murcia were very inexpensive and very good service. Not only were the Restuarant staff unfriendly but could not offer a good level of food and very few spoke English. After visiting the sister hotel Huerto Del Cura ( approx 10 mins away from Jardin ) we found this to be a much more pleasant alternative in a better setting and closer to the centre. Also found their restaurant to be the finest eateries in Elche and would recommend this . BEWARE : The tourist information board in Elche were very efficient and handed us a 10% discount brochure against 4 hotels one of which being the Jardin Milenio on presentation to hotel against our final bill. It was firstly accepted that they agreed to the discount , only to be told 48 hours later that they would not honour the discount as we had booked with booking.com. This we disputed as it was not showing on the brochure and after protracted conversations with the hotel they gave us 5% token discount on 3 of the 9 nights. This left a very bad taste ! Collapse
