Just returned home from another excellent holiday at the hotel isabel. My family and I had a great time once again hopefully we can return next year. Only a couple of issues or improvement needed : My son is football mad and he was so excited this year as there was football during the day but when he went along he was told he couldn't play as you need to be 13years old he is ten. I think the hotel or entertainment team should rethink this as you have 13 year olds playing against adults and some of thous adults thinks it is the World Cup it is an accident waiting to happen. I think you should separate adults from kids maybe football for 10-15 year old then 16 years + as two separate activities like other hotels do. Beds in rooms need to be addressed the mattresses are bad and I thinking if you are going to issue two single beds as a double please have something that can lock them together. Entertainment team : Consider having at least a couple of English staff Collapse

We spend 2weeks A/L the 1st 2weeks in July and it was great. The new pool Is great and the kids loved it. My only problem was the main pool Is falling to pieces and tiles coming off the bottom of pool,The sun beds at main pool need renewed as old and people putting towels on sun beds right at the front of the pool and wasn't their for hours did my head in lol but plenty of other beds so no waiting or fighting over them. Food was great but ate out a couple of nights. Entertainment was a hit or a miss,Their needs to be more for kids 11 and up as not every kid wants to go to kids club, more variety and interact with the kids more not just the wee ones. We went out couple of nights for food with kids. Our rooms where good and clean and the staff where great and couldn't have been more helpful. We are looking to book our 3rd visit for next July already . Collapse

2 week All inclusive break. Two adults and one 4 year old. Found check in rather slow although it was around 10pm. Our first impressions of the hotel were good however there is a sincere lack of Air conditioning/Fans in the reception. Was offered assistance with our luggage however we were fully able. Grounds are well kept and tidy. Room was an apartment which was very spacious, it was cleaned each day. Air con was excellent. Had excellent sea and pool views despite us not requesting this. Room came with fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, 2 ring induction hob, hair dryer. Exceeded our expectations. Bought filter coffee from local HiperDino and enjoyed a fresh brew each morning. I felt the coffee maker was a nice touch. Our 4 year olds bed was a convertable sofa in the lounge area, we moved the mattress to the main bedroom so she could be near. The following day the room service attendance had noticed this and took initiative by providing a proper bed for her. This was excellent service, we were delighted with the thought of staff taking such initiative. Massive thumbs up. For me the main reason for the 5 star rating is the staff. I took notice of all their hard efforts, not one member of staff lazed about. They worked as a team and seemed to take pride in their work. The restaurant staff should be highly commended. I have never seen such efficient work in tandem than in this restaurant. The interaction with the adults and children make you feel warm and welcome. Special shout out to Sandra, Alvin and Molero, you guys are machines! Food selection was impressive. Loads to choose from for all appetites. Different themes each day. All inclusive drinks were good value. Entertainment was a hit or a miss. Live band was good however the in-house entertainers are poor and seem to be led by an annoying Enrique Iglesias look a like who couldn't love himself anymore. When we were enjoying the live band, "Enrique" kept dancing around the hotel guests like an pesky fly. Pools were excellent. Used the quieter pool mostly although dont expect it to be quiet. Inflatables everywhere and water guns. 4 year old had a ball of a time. Just keep an eye on you little ones because the Lifeguards dont. They are constantly on their mobile phones. The kids pool is fantastic for toddlers/Babies, no life guards at this pool though. The hotel has pool tables, table tennis, video games and loads of other entertainment. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the GF Isabel and will return one day. Impressed with staff and very happy with our room. I would recommend for Families with smaller children, older children might get bored. Collapse

We were slightly apprehensive after seeing some recent bad reviews having booked a week all inclusive last year but the reviews couldn't have been more wrong. Rooms are spacious and clean. Perhaps some of the decor/furnishings look old fashioned but this doesn't mean they are old. Everything in our room looked new and fresh. All inclusive buffet was varied everyday with a wide selection along with the snackbar which was handy for snacks like chicken nuggets, burgers and hot dogs. The top pool at the far end was always quiet with plenty of sun loungers free. The kids pool was also great for our daughter with slides to keep her occupied. Location wise you are less than a 10 min walk to the beach and the Plaza Del Duque shopping centre. A luggage and shower room made our late transfer on our last day a bit more bearable! Overall would definitely recommend. Collapse

Stayed here for a week with my family on an all inclusive basis, there were 6 adults and 4 young children aged between 1 and 4yrs. We had 2 ground floor bungalows which were adjacent to each other, they were fairly basic but we didnt need anything more. There was also an apartment for 2 of the adults. The hotel had a lovely village feel to it so in the evenings even though we in the hotel we could sit outside our room and feel like we were in a hotel as such. There was plenty for the kids to do with a choice of 3 pools and several playgrounds. We didnt use the kids club but i think they would have enjoyed it. There was a really good selection of food in the buffets, something for everyone I would think, even fussy children. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. This was the perfect hotel for us as a family, couldn't really fault it. Collapse
