My husband and I have just returned, having an all inclusive week at this hotel. Location is great, near the beach, shops, bars, restaurants etc. The hotel staff were all very pleasant and everywhere was spotless. The bar and snacks by the pool are perfect for daytime drink and food. The pool was lovely and warm and never too busy and there were always plenty of sunbeds available. The choices for breakfast and dinner were huge, well presented and nicely cooked. We would recommend the all inclusive as it seemed that the cost of food and drink in the hotel and surrounding area is not cheap. Collapse

This was the first holiday where I had taken no control over the booking as it was my wife’s 60th birthday present to herself. Not only was she looking for a quality hotel, the plan included taking our daughter, her husband, their two children (2 and 4 years old), our son and my mother (89 years old). So you can see why I was so glad to have nothing to do with the booking arrangements. She had decided to book direct with the hotel as our requirements were rather unusual, where we were looking to have our daughter’s family in one apartment, our son in another and we had planned to have an adjoining room next to my mother. The hotel had come up with putting my daughter’s family in one of its bungalows, ourselves in an adjoining room next to my mother’s accessible room and my son as far away as possible so he could enjoy his holiday. Six weeks before we were due to fly out disaster struck, with my wife being diagnosed with heart failure and obviously our insurance would only cover ourselves and not the rest of the family. While I have used the word disaster it proved to be not the case, with not only Jet2 rearranging our flights from November to February after the hotel first came up with suitable dates to rearrange to. However, by this time our requirements had changed due to my mother having had a mini stroke (which would have happened while we were away originally), but this only changed our room to being a bungalow as well so we could be with mum all the time. Upon our arrival at the hotel, our son was upgraded to another bungalow all of which were scrupulously clean and well equipped throughout our stay. While I am not one for over indulging with all inclusive and see it more of a convenience throughout the holiday, I understand our whole family thought the food was more than acceptable, with there being a huge selection for every member of the family throughout the stay at every mealtime. Both my son and son-in-law proved that the beer was very drinkable! If like me you are a coffee drinker, make sure you ask for an Americano out of the Barista machine while at the bars, otherwise you will get it out of what is basically a poor quality instant coffee machine. An Americano is served as a double espresso, so be sure to ask for water as well. Mum would not have been able to walk around by herself, so we had hired a two seater buggy prior to going out, which proved invaluable and allowed us to take her to any aspect of the complex and much further afield. The hotel also has a couple of wheel chairs which we used as well at no extra cost, but these are not available for the entire duration of the stay as others require them at times too. The swimming pools were fantastic for both adults and children with our two preferring the top pool, which was quieter and helped teach the older of the two how to swim. Looking at the set up myself, I think had I been a child under 5 I would have spent my entire holiday at the kid's pool. We do not usually go back to the same hotel, but in this case I could make an exception, especially if it was to take such a wide age group. Collapse

What a lovely hotel! Staff are very friendly and good with children. We had a 'bungalow', which was not really a bungalow, but nonetheless lovely accommodation. There are three swimming pools, which our 3 and 7 year old boys loved! We were right next to the children's pool with climbing frame and slide. There is a lot for children to do inside the hotel complex, our two did use the soft play on a rainy day, but mostly they just wanted to swim in pools and in the sea (lovely safe beach only 15-20 mins walk, or a short ride on the land train!). We didn't eat at the hotel, so can't say about that. But facilities for self-catering were good and more restaurants than you can count within a 5 min walk (all open in February). Free Wifi worked reasonably well and there is a safe in the room (12 euro for the week). On check out we were able to leave our bags while we went and made the most of our last day, with shower and changing facilities available next to the left luggage room. I have read a few negative reviews on here, but none of it applied to us. Maybe we got lucky, but our accommodation was in good state of repair and all worked well. On a rainy day in February you don't have much choice but to wade through it, as the walkways are not covered and don't drain well, but luckily they don't have many rainy days! Collapse
