It is my first time in this hotel in Kiev and I would not miss any chance to stay in it when I visit again. Very clean, professional staff; great breakfast. The room is very comfortable and it has open bar also.

We spent 3 nights at the hotel in late May. The hotel is very centrally located, just next to the beautiful St. Michael's monastery. We arrived at the hotel quite early, at 9:45AM and were immediately checked in by the wonderful Ms. Kateryna Khrapko, the front office manager. We booked 2 rooms using points and upgraded to Club rooms for an additional fee. Ms. Khrapko gave us explanations about the hotel and assigned Ms. Anna to show us around the hotel and its facilities. We even managed to have breakfast at the Club lounge before heading to our rooms (which were already ready for us this early in the day). We were assigned Club Deluxe rooms 802 and 838 (which were identical, other than the fact that one room featured twin beds and the other – a king bed). The rooms were lovely with the bed, a small TV (with a rather limited channel selection), an armchair, a work desk with chair, a small table, a safe and a minibar (which had complimentary soft drinks). The WI-FI reception in our room was rather weak, so we used a mobile router. Our Platinum Ambassador welcome gift consisted of a bottle of wine, fruits and some dry fruits as well. The room also featured a tiny balcony with a view to a back street. The bathroom was rather small and featured a bath tub, a toilet (with bidet), a sink and a separate shower. The bathroom amenities in one room were the regular Intercontinental Agraria, but on the other room – the far superior L'Occitane. Strangely enough, there was no power socket in the bathroom. The hotel featured a lovely gym and small pool, with a dry sauna. The hotel lobby and lobby bar look absolutely stunning with classical chandeliers and flowers to match. However, it was impossible to enjoy sitting in the lobby, as it was reeking from cigarette smell from the nearby lobby bar (where smoking is allowed). The Club lounge was located on the 2nd floor and operated from the early morning until 10PM. It featured all day drinks and nibbles, a great breakfast buffet (with cooked to order eggs and desserts), a lovely afternoon tea with cakes and sandwiches and a brilliant dinner buffet with alcohol and even a soup menu. The lounge itself was very pleasant and the service level at the lounge was truly superb (and that's despite some of the attendants being new at their jobs). We were pampered beyond belief. My only advice for the lounge is to make more usage of the a/c rather than open the windows, as it tended to get quite hot. I would like to take this opportunity to give special praise to Ms. Sophia Krasko from guest relation, who assisted me with my reservation, to Mr. Egor from the concierge for his good recommendations, to the lovely attendants at the Club lounge for their superb service and pampering, and last, but certainly not least – to the wonderful Ms. Kateryna Khrapko, the front office manager, for the warm welcome. Bottom line – we had a wonderful time during our stay at the hotel. The hotel is centrally located, features a lavish design and a superb club lounge. but what makes it truly shine is the staff and the high level of service they provide. This is the ONLY hotel you should consider while visiting beautiful Kiev. Collapse

Stayed here for a longer period and altogether, found it very pleasant. The junior suite was comfortable, the rooms clean and the bed very comfortable. Depending which side you're on, the view is really nice too. The location is quite central and Kreshatyk is walking distance. Breakfast is great. The staff at the entrance (outside) is really pleasant and helpful. If I may give just a few negative points : generally, the hotel could do with some renovation and a more modern and lighter hotel lobby. Collapse

Been here a few times and it's always a pleasure to know I'm going to stay in this hotel. Intercontinental hotels are having a high standards and this one in Kiev is meeting this level. Especially breakfast is good, with a Japanese section with fresh fish and sushi. Rooms are big and clean, with a luxurious appearance. Location is central, with many touristic sights at one's fingertips. Recommended! Collapse
