This is the fourth time in 2 years that I stayed in this hotel. It is located right across Paddington Station and so convenient to everywhere. Staff are friendly and efficient and I wish to specially commend one of their restaurant staff Diana. She is always so helpful and I love being greeted by her big smile every morning when I pop into the London Street Brasserie for breakfast. Hotel facilities are modern and clean. The location is fantastic. Collapse

Staying at Hotel Indigo was a very pleasant experience. The location is very convenient. I found the room to be spacious (my colleague had a much smaller room), the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and well equipped. There was a free android device that could be used while walking around and that was a convenient and great amenity. The wifi was fine and liked that there were plenty of plugs around the room (usually a pet peeve for many hotel stays). The only issue I had was that I booked a room that included breakfast and had the confirmation that stated it. It took about 3 days for the hotel to resolve that they showed that breakfast was not included. I had to show them the confirmation, email it to the front desk and talk to 3 different people to make sure it was noted. In the end, I got my free breakfast each day. They have a nice breakfast buffet that was inexpensive should you book a room rate that doesn't include it. Collapse

I like this modern hotel design , despite that I often have an interrupted sleep from noise outside at night (it's a quiet street considering the close proximity to Paddington Station, this time there was some random crashing noises outside in the middle of the night like someone was delivering planks of timber ). They do provide ear plugs by the bed, but I can't sleep with them, even on airplanes. The room design is refreshing but the King room I was upgraded to (and have stayed in before) is very crowded - certainly not comfortable for a couple with two large suitcases, but fine for me as a single with an overnight bag. The chaise-lounge at the end of the bed actually blocks access to one side of the bed, which shows how narrow the room is. The shower-only bathroom would offer inadequate space for a couple with their toiletries unpacked. The free water and cola, and local mobile phone, are a nice touch (I didn't try the phone). Unfortunately I forgot my iPad charger when I left. My next stop was home , so I know it isn't elsewhere. I rang the front desk about 4 hours after checking out and there was clearly no interest in spending 3 minutes to check the room to see if it was still there - instead I was told that "the computer says no" and asked me to send an email to a rather obscure address from which i have had no reply. Disappointed about that - really doesn't reflect the brand image, or my expectations as a platinum IHG member. Collapse

My room was not ready after a long flight from America the Hotel was full and was told I may not get a room. Well I had an Angel named Zephron who took care of me like family or a honored guest. He found another Hotel took me and my bags to the hotel and up to the room and told me he would call when a room opens up at the Hotel Indigo and also pick me up come to my room bring my bags and take me to the best room that the Hotel has with my own little Patio. You could not make this up this is the Hotel Indigo Paddington April 2017 When My Uber driver did not come to the hotel and was waiting at Paddington station the great people like Hery, Elind and Stefan would not let me go out they went to the station and brought Uber to the hotel. Guess what you will not find better service or kindness anywhere. Thank you guys at the Hotel Indigo Paddington......thank you for making me feel at home............thank you for making me feel like family. Book this Hotel. Collapse

When we arrived at the Paddington hotel we were greeted by a friendly enough staff member in small but sharp lobby. - having only two chairs to sit in forced people to stand around and wait in an already cramped corridor. We were "upgraded" from a queen room to a queen room with a patio. What this actually is a tiny bedroom, not even 1m around the bed to move around and a dark patio with high walls. There were no seats or places to rest apart from lying on the bed, and once you bring your bags in the room you'll start falling over them! Our mattress was pretty low quality with a large dip in the middle when you lie down, forcing your to roll towards your partner. Not comfortable at all. Bathroom amenities were good with a large shower and sink. But god. Whoever planned out that toilet needs a plunger up their bum! If you sit down the toilet lid rests against the toilet paper! Good luck doing yoga each time you'd like to use this one! After a restless night fighting between a warm room and a loud air conditioner, we were greeted early in the morning with strong breakfast smells which may not be advisable to anyone with sensitive noses. We advised the hotel staff of the above but they could not move us as the hotel was full... yet at breakfast it was almost empty with most people actually coming in off the street. Not really impressed as he did not seem concerned at all. It must be a common complaint. Would not recommend again for that price. Collapse
