Just returned from a short break here and feel relaxed and recharged. It was a great spot to wander up to Hyde park through streets of beautiful (and huge) London houses. The staff were so friendly and made sure our stay was perfect. We chose to have breakfast there and glad we did. (Worth booking the night before, better value). The room was clean and spacious with a fabulous shower room. Nice extra treats given too. Loved it and would go again. Collapse

The location of this hotel is amazing for earl's court with easy assess from or to the airport and central London. And the area is also really nice with good number of shops and restaurants. The hotel is located in a quant building over 300 years old with lots of characters and charms that I like. The design and decors in this hotel indigo is the best I have stay in so far, which is what a boutique hotel should be. The number of amenities in the room was also really nice, even a cell phone "handy" to use during the stay. For the room itself I like the bathroom, decors, the lovely garden view, but the room itself is tiny even for London standard and the price. Collapse

Room was well sized for London, bathroom was modern, amenities were adequate including room safe, large TV, fridge with a few free water/sodas, and ok free wi-fi. Did not try the breakfast available as an extra charge, but did have an adequate dinner in the very pleasant Italian restaurant. The hotel is situated on a quiet street, just steps from the Earl's Court underground station on the very tourist- friendly Piccadilly line (LHR airport/British Museum/Covent Garden/V&A/Piccadilly Circus....). Also comfortable/convenient bars/cafes nearby. Should note that my room was on a "half floor" so had to walk up/down flight of stairs (was very quiet as it was isolated by fire doors), but there are lots of rooms directly serviced by lift if this is a problem for you. Another caution: I had intended to reserve the Indigo - Paddington where I had previously stayed, but apparently selected the wrong drop down on the IHG menu -- when I arrived at Paddington, folks at Kensington refused to move the reservation/payment -- not a big deal as the Kensington environs are a little nicer and relatively close by, but an annoyance. My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights before our vacation to Tuscany. The location is extremely convenient, just a 5 minute walk from the Earls Court station. Everything you could need is within a very short walking distance: restaurants, convenience stores, laundry etc. It is on the underground train line that goes directly to Heathrow Airport so you won't need to do any transfers. The front desk staff was friendly and professional. The room was not large, but we anticipated this. It was clean, comfortable and functional. No complaints at all. A nice hotel that we will most likely stay at again the next time we go to London. Collapse

This was our first visit to London (my husband and I, along with our 11 year old son), and I had a very difficult time choosing where to stay. It was a surprisingly good choice, with the Earl's Ct. tube station, several cash machines, and a Fuller's pub right around the corner. We also felt very safe walking through the neighborhood when we returned late in the evening. I'll start with the two small room annoyances, then list a ton a great things. Annoying: We reserved a triple room, and by the online photos, I thought that there were going to be a double and a single bed side by side in the room - as in, it's always that way. Nope. When we entered the room it only had the double bed, until housekeeping came and pulled the third bed out from under it and made it up for our son. That took space away from the room, but we dealt with it. The other annoying thing is that no matter what we did, we couldn't keep the shower water from flooding out onto the bathroom floor. We went through a lot of towels. The good: The room was immaculate, which is one of the most important things in a hotel room for me. It was quiet, and our bed was comfortable. The minibar (drinks and snacks) were free and always well stocked. This was amazing - they provided a cell phone with internet access for us to use throughout our stay. That was fantastic! It was so nice to have a phone that worked and google maps at our fingertips. Best thing ever!!!! We had breakfast included in our stay, which also included the made-to-order items. The food good, and there was a good variety of options in their buffet. My only complaint was that they were very slow getting orders out to tables, including coffee, which isn't a good thing in the morning. The reception staff was friendly and very helpful. I'd absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay there again in a heartbeat. It's a great find. Collapse
