We booked this hotel for 3 nights for our final days in Thailand. We had been staying in mid range accommodations throughout our trip and wanted to splurge on a luxury hotel. What a treat to walk into this hotel. Very unique decor and friendly staff. Easy check in and check out process. Even held our bags for the day we left as we had a late flight out. The location is great and the pool was amazing! Although small area for day loungers but there was other seating available. Close to shopping and BTS. Breakfast was delicious. Lots of options. The bed was fantastic!! The pillows were perfect. The most comfortable sleeps of the trip. We REALLY wanted to give this hotel full points but we were disappointed on multiple occasions that ‘private functions’ took away our ability to utilize the facilities available at the hotel, specifically the pool and the top floor restaurant. It would have been helpful to know the dates and times of these events so that we could tailor our schedule to optimize our pool time as this was one of our primary reasons for choosing this hotel. Last night, (16 Nov 2017) I checked in for the first time to this hotel. I was warmly welcome to the hotel from the porter and ALL the receptionists and staff at the lobby. Wow! They take the time to acknowledge every single guests. The staff, whom had a Trainee name tag, was so professional with warm and sincere smiles. The hotel is very chic and nicely decorated. There is an indie sense of vibe, yet a homely feel to it. Room was fantastic and bed and pillows were to my comfort level. Not too soft until your head sinks into it, but just firm enough for good neck support for me. Breakfast time was a happy time. Again, it felt so vibrant and energetic. The perfect tone to start a long working day. You get to choose a main course and then freely explore the buffet table. I ordered the Japanese set. It came with good Japanese rice with nicely crisped saba and teriyaki sauce. Delicious. Checking out process was all full of smiles. Drinks were offered to me while I was checking out. I think this is a very good gesture. Even up to check out, the hospitality level exceeds expectations. Thank you to the staff handling my check in, Pim, Rainny and Donut, for handling my check out. Really pleasant stay, not only in terms of comfort, but also the warm staff around. I quote Pim "Please feel free to contact us if you need anything. This is your home". This sentence reflects the hotel's commitment to hospitality. I will stay here again. See you all soon! There is one feedback I would like to leave. I stayed in Room 705 and I feel that the floor is too polished. So much that it becomes very slippery. I mean, it's fun to just slide around.... :) but not so fun, if guests slips and fall. Thanks all! Collapse

Situated in the embassy district, but cheap to get pretty much anywhere by uber. Near ‘plunjit’ (I think) metro...Very friendly check in staff. Modern quirky hotel with lost of retro fittings and general furniture. Spire membership recognised and room upgraded to very nice corner plot with balcony. Very comfy bed, good linens and towels. Big room safe. Effective air con Spire get soft drinks free, but not made clear exactly which ones. Also 3 items of laundry free. Smoking floor available. Good choice of food, drink and snacks by the pool, which has a fantastic view overlooking the city on the 24th floor. Limited sun and day beds, so could be an issue at peak times. Staff all very helpful, and quick response to eg ice request. 24hr Room service food pretty poor quality. Had good quality Thai curry and also fish and chips at pool bar. Both small portions, but really tasty!! Breakfast disappointing and much better in other places locally. Small outside seating area nice but really loud traffic. Collapse

I’d have to rank this as one of my top 5 favourite hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Seriously. There is a unique sense of modern style that is on display in the common areas. Probably the biggest stand-out to us was the bed. After spending two weeks touring around Thailand and Cambodia we finally discovered the most comfortable bed yet. We actually lifted the sheets and took a photo of the mattress tag; we’re now in the process of buying the same mattress for our home! If you’re into jogging in the morning like I am, the best place to jog in Bangkok is Lumpini Park. It is a mere 700 metres from the front door of the hotel. Get out there at 6am before it gets to hot and then recover back at the hotel in the rooftop infinity pool. The staff, in particular those at the front desk (“PM” “Donut” and “Friend”, yes that’s their names!) were incredibly helpful. The provided us with a late checkout on our final day and were helpful in giving us ideas of what do around the city. The hotel is located a short walk to the Skytrain which can get you around the city easily. I can’t wait to go back to Thailand to experience this hotel again and spend more time discovering Bangkok.
