We arrived on Friday afternoon and were greeted by the very attentive friendly reception team who made our check in quick and hassle free. Just what's needed after an early morning start. Our room was spotless and very well kept during our stay with daily maid service. Throughout our stay the whole hotel team made our experience a really pleasant and memorable one. A special mention to Imran the manager who greeted us the first day to introduce himself and take the time to chat although very busy and throughout our stay always asked if we were ok and had everything we needed whenever he passed us. There is a wide variety of all inclusive drinks available and always at mealtimes something new to try. Delicious!! Not one single bad point can be said about this hotel and we will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you very much Pat & Rachael Collapse

This hotel is absolutely immaculate. Everywhere we looked there seemed to be somebody cleaning something and there was always a delicate smell of incense in the main hotel areas. We received a very friendly welcome, and after lunch we were shown to our room which was spotless and well prepared with a poolside view. The grounds are extensive and again immaculate with at least six gardeners working at any given time. Several hotel cats and geese freely roam the grounds. The entertainments team are always on the go, gently encouraging guests to join in the activities but they are now way pushy or too 'in your face'. Even when it was raining, they adapted the days program to suit the weather. Mehdi in particular has boundless energy. He remembers everybody's name and always stops to talk to every guest who crosses his path. Our only slight and minor disappointment was that the food, although of a good quality was rather repetitive in choice and if you are vegetarian, you may struggle with the selections on offer. Overall we were very impressed with this hotel, and consider it excellent value for money. Collapse

Stayed here first week in December for 4 nights with my husband and we both loved it, just wished it was for longer. The room was lovely and clean and overlooked the front garden with. The view from the balcony was amazing. We loved going for walks in the lovely garden area and relaxing by the pool listening to music in the background. The main reception area smelled beautiful, there were always activities going on and we loved the themed entertainment every night. The entertainment team were true professionals and very talented. During the day the staff were all cheerful, friendly and always stopped to say hello or chat. Special thanks to Khalil and Laila who joined us for lunch a few times and told us their stories and listened to ours. Also thanks to the other 2 young ladies whose names i can't remember but loved their enthusiasm and smiles. Also the staff in the restaurant for their prompt service, smiles and acknowledgement. I really can't fault this hotel and am recommending it to all my family and friends. I will definitely go again very soon in the new year and can't wait. Well done to all the staff as they are a credit to the hotel. They work very hard but keep smiling and make sure the guests are entertained. Overall it was a wonderful experience and i definitely recommend the Iberostar Club Palmeraie! Collapse
Last minute relaxing week away. Cats, geese, and beautiful gardens, even fun when it rained!

I booked this holiday as a last minute relaxing getaway before Christmas and couldn't have been happier with the hotel. The room (garden view) was immaculately kept and I found it very comfortable. The bed was huge and comfortable, the bathroom large and well stocked, no bath but may be available in other rooms but large walk in shower. There was plenty of space to relax in the room if you wish with a sofa, desk, and chairs and table on a small patio/balcony with a view of the beautifully kept green gardens. Facilities included a large pool, smaller 'zen' pool, splash pool for the kids, extensive gardens with their own flock of geese, and plenty of outdoor seating areas. Plenty of activities on offer including boules, exercise area, darts, and even a trapeze! There were shows most night in the onsite theatre of Morrocan dancing, music, and a karaoke night. When it rained the staff went to great lengths to keep everyone entertained indoors with board games and organised a traditional tea making and Arabic lesson. There is a free bus into the city, which is around 10 km away, several times a day. There isn't much in the immediate vicinity except a few places offering quad bike excursions and camel rides, unless you fancy a walk in the surrounding desert. The view of the mountains in the distance is stunning when it is clear. I took one of the two hour quad bike excursions which was fab (not offered by the hotel but just over the road. Catering provided in the main restaurant three times a day, snacks from the main bar, a food truck serving burger, hot dogs, hot sandwiches and crepes during the day and a second bar at the zen pool. I would highly recommend taking the all inclusive option, hassle free and more than worth the very reasonable extra cost. The staff are friendly, attentive and always eager to help or just sit and chat. All in all I very much enjoyed my stay at a very reasonable price, would definitely recommend. Collapse
