We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite and found staff to be very helpful and welcoming. The suite was good and the breakfast was very great and choices were abundant. BEST was Starbuck's coffee that was strong and good! (we'd been on a tour for 10 days in Canada and yearned for good java)! We enjoyed the walk to Pike Place and as well as dinner at Blueacre recommended by two hotel desk employees. We'd stay again!!! Collapse

Travelling with 3 small children so we had a 1 bedroom suite for a week. Our stay was great! Outside, we saw construction and I was a little apprehensive-worried about the noise. We walked inside and no noise! The hotel interiors are clean and inviting-cookies to the left, smiling faces to the right. Check in was simple, then we went up to our room. Lovely! LIVING ROOM: Plenty of room for kids to lay about on the floor and color/play games, a small table (used 2 chairs and slid the ottoman to the table for a 3rd seat) and a TV for them to watch the Disney channel! The sofa couch was easy to set up and comfy. Fit 2 children just fine. KITCHEN: Utensils, cups, bowls, plates, pots/pans, cutting board, knife, dishrag all included. Even a corkscrew! Fridge with ice maker (turn it on when you arrive) microwave and dishwasher available in room as well. You are literally all set! BEDROOM: King bed with plenty of space for a pack n play in the corner and space to walk around. We fit 2 suitcases in the closet and a stroller BATHROOM: The water pressure is great and is hot straight away without having to waiy awhile. Due to space limitations, there is about 1 inch space between the swing of the door and the toilet seat. This makes it really interesting for bath (behind the door and beside the toilet) and potty time with toddlers. Been smacked in the knee and head more than I would like (of course, older room guests understand the typical 1 person at a time thing) You are given hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, and lotion- no body wash, hairnet, or face wipes. Ample towels too! MEALS: Everyday, there is oatmeal, toast, yogurt, fruit, waffles, pastries, cereal, milk, juice, water. Everyday there is also cooked items available such as eggs and a meat or potatoes. With 3 picky children, there was always something to make someone happy. In the evenings Mon-Thurs. there is a happy hour with some hot dishes. Oftentimes, we were out so we missed out on the happy hour but, it looked and smelled good! LOCATION: There is a bridge that can take you across the street, over the train track, and to a walking trail (Alaskan way?)-very handy if you have a stroller! If you are walking, it will take about 25 minutes from the hotel to Pier 55/Pike Place. You will pass the sculpture garden, and see some great wildlife. It is literally a straight shot. Alternatively, you can take a left out of the hotel entrance and walk up and over a few blocks to the Seattle Center. Despite the hotel being somewhat at the bottom of the hill, the location is great! Still downtown but not so smack dab in the center that you hear all the noise. Catch the monorail from the Seattle Center into downtown-you will IMMEDIATELY notice the difference in noise levels and traffic. LAUNDRY: There are 2 commercial washers and dryers. They are large, clean, and do a great job! $2 per load. If you forgot your own, You can also purchase laundry supplies for $2 each from the desk (one load each) FITNESS ROOM: Plenty of equipment, all in good working order, towels, TV and water in the fitness room. PARKING: There are 2 garages, $20 per day plus $2.02 tax. We rented a minivan and was a little disappointed in the multitude of COMPACT parking spaces and limited supply of spots large enough for our van. Space is the garage is very tight. We are frequent travelers and had never stayed at Homewood Suites before. We were very pleased with this hotel and our stay. So much so that we will continue to use this hotel brand from now on. If you have young children or just do not want to be right in the center of the city, I'd definitely recommend this hotel. Great location and the amenities can't be beat! We fell in love with Seattle and this hotel. We will be back! Collapse

While this was a business trip, I would absolutely stay here on a family vacation. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Collapse
