The breakfast experience was hit and miss. There were some good items but the last two days of my stay I arrived in the eating area 15 minutes prior to end of breakfast hours and there were no clean dishes, fruit eggs, meat or coffee... When I asked I was told "There are only 15 minutes left"... I can tell time, that was not the question and no replacement foods were brought out even though there were guests still coming in. The Internet is the slowest I have ever seen in a hotel of this level and stature. Be aware that 50% of the rooms are 100 feet form I-4 and VERY VERY loud.... Sleep can be difficult and restless. STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU'RE A HEAVY SLEEPER!! We visited this property for a family trip to Disney May 9-13. When we arrived at 2 we were told that our 1 bedroom suite that we booked wouldn't be ready for a few hours. I asked about the availability of a 2 bedroom and the desk attendant said that she could upgrade us free of charge because one was going to be available within the hour. We were delighted! That was the extent of our delight. When we returned to check in we had to wait what felt like ages for the one working elevator in the entire property while trying to keep a squirmy toddler from running all over. The room was adequate if not a bit run down but for the most part clean. There were some areas of serious wear and tear including frayed carpet and noisy AC units but we were happy for the extra space at the time. Little did we know at the time that the noisy AC was masking the real issue. After hours at the park we returned to the hotel ready to rest up for the next full day in the magic kingdom only to have an entirely restless sleepless night because when the AC finally squealed (rather loudly enough to wake my child and me from the next room) stopped all you could hear were the massive amounts of traffic screaming down the highway just outside the window. Needless to say NONE of us got any sleep and at 5:30 am after tossing and turning all night I finally called the front desk and was told that while there was nothing available at the time that didn't face the highway there would be later in the day. Skip to later that day we come back after being in the park for hours to find that, yes, they do have a room for us but they're going to give us two rooms across the hall from each other. The woman I had spoken to earlier that morning was well aware of the fact that we have a toddler yet they wanted us to stay across the hotel hall from him?!?! What kind of logic was this? When I asked to speak to a manager, they brought in the Manager from their neighbor property (Hilton garden), Tony, who tried tirelessly to find another accommodation for us. In the process the homewood property manager Jamie stoped by and said in her most condescending tone "I can see the inconvenience of being upgraded for free" I was so blown away that a manager would speak to a guest in this manner that I didn't even have the wherewithal to respond to her that we were upgraded because they didn't have our room ready and wouldn't have for hours. Tony eventually was able to put us in a different 1 bedroom suite and assured us that it would be much better and the following night they would give us the connecting room for addition space. I have to admit that Tony was incredible and tried so hard to accommodate us including offering to move us to a different location but we were traveling with my parents and didn't want to make them pack up and move. Turns out that the new room was just as noisy as the first and was actually even more exposed to the road than the first room. Additionally, the tv in the living room never worked even though we reported it to maintenance twice and in the middle of the first night with the extra room that refrigerator started squealing and banged to a stop, popping the breaker at 3am waking both me and my child. I found out from several other guests that the elevators were rarely if ever working consistently and apparently the laundry facilities were broken, too. I was also told that Hilton is well aware of the highway noise issue for the 8 years that they've been open yet they haven't done anything to rectify the situation or disclose this information to their guests prior to booking. SHAME ON YOU HILTON!! Collapse

I do quite a bit of reviews on Tripadvisor and I am usually very positive of all places, especially hotels. We had a pretty average stay here this past week. Below are Pros and Cons: Pros 1. Jamie the GM was very nice and professional. I had to speak with her about an issue I had with an employee and she did resolve the situation to my satisfaction. 2. Very close to all parks and Disney Springs. 3. Wal-Mart is 4 miles away. PLENTY of sit down and fast food restaurants close by. 4. Spacious rooms, nice kitchen space. 5. Huge breakfast area. 6. Plenty of parking. Located in safe area. CONS 1. Our hot water was out for two straight days. No, the hotel can't help that sometimes but two days seemed a bit much for a Hilton hotel. It is the last thing we wanted to deal with during our Family Disney vacation. A few employees acted like we were bothering them when we asked for updates. 2. The AC in our living room area was incredibly loud. The AC in the bedroom area was normal but the other AC was so loud we decided not to even watch TV in there when it was on. It was in the mid 90's most of the week so AC was on quite a bit. 3. No channel guides. It is time consuming to have to figure out the channels by flipping thru TV. How hard would it be for an employee to type out the channels on a Word document, print enough copies for each room, then laminate it? 4. The bathroom area is TINY! And, the shower curtain was paper thin and not long enough to keep the floor from getting water all over it. Every time we took a shower we had to put towels down every where on floor. 5. They promote a week night social hour from 5-7. It was kind of a joke. I tried the beer, which was in a glass bottle, and it was no doubt the worst beer I had ever tasted. Not even when I was in college and poor did I have this terrible of a beer. Another guy was there and he was even more disappointed than I was over it. After that first night I didn't go back for Social hour. 6. Some employees were nice, others were not. Just little things like I would be walking down the hallway with my family and a worker would be walking down the hallway and they wouldn't acknowledge us or step out of the way, we had to hurry into a single line to allow them to pass. I would be walking up to the front desk and they wouldn't say hello or anything, I just had to start talking in order for them to acknowledge my presence. We liked the two room living quarters and the GM was nice, Breakfast was fine, but we would not stay here again on our next visit to Orlando. Collapse

This was my second time in this hotel. During my stay everything was ok. But I had a big problem after I checked out. I was incorrectly charged in my credit card with a restaurant bill I didn't`t go (wasn't even aware there was one in the hotel). And now for the past 2 months I have been trying to get this money back! I have tried to contact the hotel, the manager, Hilton customer services and so far it was all for nothing. The hotel and manager won`t answer my e-mails and the Hilton Costumer Services is just a bunch of useless employees who can`t solve anything. I have written over 20 messages so this has been very frustrating. I won`t be coming back to this hotel, they can`t be trusted with your credit card, and the communication with them is so difficult that I`m almost loosing hope of ever getting my money back. Be careful with your bill at your check out!! Collapse
