Great hotel. Great staff. Would return again. However, my rate were not adjusted to recent rates, I expressed this to mgr and was blown off. Other than that, experience for this hotel was great, and my kids loved it.

We notified the hotel that our family would arrive later in the evening. Upon our arrival, everything was smooth and the check in desk representative was very friendly and nice.It made our check in experience great with no hassles. We received our Hilton complimentary bag without asking. Our stay at the Hilton Homewood suites was SUPERB!! Our children LOVED the pool. My greatest experience was the morning breakfast. Every morning all the workers in the kitchen were upbeat, nice, energetic and very accommodating and courteous. This happened our entire stay and we stayed for 6 days. The kitchen worker that had the most effect on me was Janice. She was AWESOME. She smiled every single morning in spite of some individuals being difficult. I watched each worker every morning and they NEVER lost their smile regardless to the situation they may have encountered. I must commend this particular Homewood Suites(Orlando, Lake Buena Vista)because my husband even said this was the best Florida stay that our family has had and I couldn't agree more. Every Staff Member was AWESOME!! We went to different attractions in Orlando and when we returned to retire to our room for the evening, our children would say, we are HOME!! We also saved on food as we had complimentary breakfast each morning and we were able to cook food in our suite..THANK YOU for making our family vacation memorable and affordable. Worst Experience EVER

When I arrived with my family after a 10 hour drive, the front desk did not have the room that I picked on the e-check in through the HHonors website. Instead, they said that they had an upgraded room other than what I picked. My upgraded room was Room#425. As we proceeded to the fourth floor, we where taken back by how hot the corridors where. They must have been over 85%. Obviously the air conditioning units must have been out. As we reach the other end of the hotel, my whole family was in a complete sweet due to the intense heat. As we entered into room 425, it was like the heat was the same. We put the thermostats down to 65% in hopes of getting the den and double queen room cooled down. To add to the extreme heat of the room, come to find out that the toilet in King room would not flush. I called the front desk and made them aware of the toilet issue. The maintenance guy came with a plunger and said that it was all fixed. I then told him that the PTAC's were not cooling the den and the double queen room. He made some adjustment to the thermostats and said to give them 45 minutes and it should cool down. Right. Hugh. I checked the toilet after he said that it was fixed and again it would not flush. I called the front desk again to report the toilet again and the PTAC's still not cooling. After 30 minutes, they had a crew of 3 maintenance men in the room with an auger. They messed with the toilet and was finally told that this toilet could not be used. They then looked at the PTAC's units and decided that they also could not be repaired. After 4 hours of dealing with maintenance and them replacing the 2 PTAC units, I called the night manager to complain about my concerns with my stay. I asked for them to make things right to be offered a free breakfast at the next door HGI breakfast. Unacceptable. I told her that I wanted my points back and she said that she could not do that. She said that Jamie Midlow-GM would call me in the morning with a resolution. This did NOT happen. As we checked out in the morning, there where no available luggage carts. I looked through the parking lot and did not see 1 single person with a cart. When we checked in, there was only 1 available. I was told they have a total of 5 and that the other guest keep them in their rooms at night and that is why they are not available. I have never had this problem at any other Hilton properties. I am a Gold member and have never had the worst Guest Experience EVER!!! I also noticed that the property was using foam cups in the breakfast area that is totally against Hilton standards. This property should lose their flag. Collapse
