Filthy Rooms/Staff Lacks Integrity/Unprofessional GM

We ONLY deal with Hilton affiliated Hotels and this was by far our worse experience with Hilton. We booked 9 rooms for friends and family of which 2 had soiled sheets, mattress pad, and duvet covers that WE had to change the sheets because housekeeping was already gone, the toilet was filthy in one room and the floor was sticky and dirty in 3. The towels appeared to be clean but there were pubic hairs in 2 bath towels in our room, and hair in a dish towel in another. In one room, the door came off the top and middle hinge when we opened it. There were other issues in other rooms but my family either cleaned the room themselves or advised staff the following day to prevent another customer from having to deal with a filthy room or floor. As a customer or a consumer, I realize that there is no perfect establishment but for me and my family how an issue is handled makes the difference. Our complaints were not handled professionally or taken seriously. When we called corporate, we found out that whoever wrote the report lied and said we were offered to move rooms and that their staff changed our sheets. This was not the case. The first customer advocate was no advocate at all because she basically read to me what the notes on the account said and told me they have to go with that because the staff who wrote the notes were there and on the property. The next person we spoke to basically said the same thing and I explained the report was not accurate and I offered to conference call the hotel to discuss what actually happened. The person who brought us the sheets, answered and I explained to him that I was told that he changed the sheets when my husband and Goddaughter in fact changed them while Susan from corporate were on the line and he said nothing. I asked to speak with the GM, Jeffrey Ellis and when he got on the line, I explained the situation and the fact that what was in the report was a lie and he asked what would make me happy. I told him and he told me what he could do which was 30K of the 64K I used for that weekend and 1 night room rate for the room with the broken door. Jeffrey acted as if it was acceptable for you to have to change sheets when you check in a hotel. Jeffrey, no sir bringing clean sheets for us to have to change is not making it right and is NOT the Hilton way! Other than the restroom, who wants to change sheets and clean up when they check into a hotel? While on the line, he told the corporate office to look at my HHonors File which was completely inappropriate. In my file, you will find that if something is not right, I will provide feedback and because I provide feedback about something that was not right or unacceptable, I should not be treated any less when something happens at your location. You should welcome feedback so that you can correct many of the problems in your filthy hotel Jeffrey Ellis. As I expressed my frustration with what we went through at his hotel, there was silence and the corporate person finally spoke up when I said, "Do you understand what I am saying or what I mean?" Integrity, Safety, Cleanliness, and happy customers are obviously not important to this location. We received many excuses for why things were not right. According to front desk personnel, recent renovations is the reason for the broken doors. Apparently they have new doors but just have to put them in. According to housekeeping, new laundry staff is the reason for pubic hairs and hairs in the towels and sheets because they are not checking that all items are free from hair or other foreign material before they put them out for housekeeping to put in the rooms. Jeffrey stated he's only been there 30 days. He has a lot of work to do to clean up the facility and the staff but with his attitude, I'm not certain that will happen so BEWARE if you expect a clean room with clean sheets and towels and a swept and mopped floor, it probably won't happen any time soon at this location. My family had a really good stay and the staff was very nice and helpful. We will be back for sure!!! Check in was very easy and my family loved the indoor pool! We also enjoyed the kitchen! That alone saved us from going out to eat every night.
