We booked this hotel as a second choice because all the Disney properties were full. It turned out to be a very nice hotel. We found it easily and the check in process was smooth. There was plenty of parking in the back which is where our room was. We had a kids suite which included 2 bunk beds in a walled off area and a king bed. The room was very spacious. The bathroom was large. You can buy Disney tickets down by the front desk, however, I believe they were actually a little more than buying them directly from Disney. The good thing is, you have your tickets in hand when you arrive at the park so you can go right inside. The hotel also has a shuttle to and from the Transportation Center several times a day. Beware that it takes some time to get out of the park, across on the ferry, and a bit of a walk to the shuttle stop. If you miss the last shuttle, they will not come back for you. It was quite cold for Florida (around 60 degrees) when we were there so we did not use the pool which is outdoors. The pool area did look very nice. I only gave 4 stars to this hotel because there is no free breakfast. These days, everyone is offering a free breakfast. We usually book Holiday Inn Express which always has a nice breakfast. There is an Applebees attached. I guess kids eat free with a paying adult. We didn't eat there. Besides, if you have more kids than adults, it really isn't a bargain. There is a Wendy's and a Chik-fil-a directly across the street. Overall, we liked the hotel and found it very comfortable. However, it is much easier and more convenient to stay on Disney property. We recently visited Orlando with our family of 9 ranging in ages from 8 months to 58 years old. We cannot say enough great things about this resort. The price was very fair and a great value. The kids did not want to leave when given the choice to do other things. They loved the pool and a very special thank you to Dan who kept them happy and busy. The adults thoroughly enjoyed the bar along the side of the pool. The bar tenders were fabulous. We reserved two of the suites and had plenty of room for everyone. We are already talking about heading back there and staying at the same place. Collapse

My son and I traveled to Orlando for a four day trip to Disney. We usually stay on Disney property at the Polynesian Resort so we were feeling a little pinched that we were having to stay off property. We have stayed at this hotel for one night on previous trips, prior to our check in at the resort so we knew it was clean and spacious. It is about a five minute walk to Disney Springs. After spending four days at this hotel, I have nothing but praise for their entire property and staff. First, the rooms are immaculately clean and housekeeping KEPT them that way (and with a nineteen year old son who is not the neatest, that is a challenge) Second, the checkin process was very quick and easy. There were plenty of desk clerks and they got us to our room in short order. I had questions about the shuttle service to the parks and they were very helpful about the entire Orlando area. One night I asked about restaurants that delivered to the hotel. I was given several menus for places with suggestions for the ones that were the favorites of the staff. (The chinese delivery that they suggest was both delicious and reasonable) Paul, at the valet desk, never failed to open the doors for us, always smiling and ready to offer help with directions, etc. After a long day in the park, it was nice to see a smiling face welcoming us back and holding our door. May seem like a little thing but it was big to us. Said, our waiter in the restaurant, was friendly and accomodating. He was great. The breakfast buffet was clean, plentiful and tasty. The beds were very comfortable and, even though my room was on the side that faced the highway, the noise level was very low! I forgot my toothbrush and we called for a replacement. They were at our door (on the 14th floor) within about five minutes. I truly cannot think of a single negative and would stay here again for sure. One suggestion I would have for management would be an app to track the movements of the shuttle. It was difficult to know whether the bus was on the way or whether we had just missed it. IT would have been nice to know if we had a thirty minute wait or a two minute wait ahead of us. I cannot say enough positive about this experience and i am a pretty particular guest. Collapse

This was our second visit to the HI. We travelled with 3 adults and a baby. A crib/cot was supplied and the room was huge! On checking in, we were informed that there was no hot water as there was an issue with the main line into the hotel. These things happen and whilst not ideal, it didn't affect our enjoyment and we knew that everything possible was being done to fix it. The hotel staff were all polite and friendly, especially Dan- he does a great job! When we return to Orlando in the future, it will be to this hotel. The location is close to the shops, food places and the parks. The rooms were cleaned every day and our mountains of rubbish from all the shopping taken away with no complaints :-) It's a HI, clean, comfortable and in a great location and we need nothing more for our holiday!!
