Location, location! This hotel is situation perfectly, just a few blocks from Times Square, Madison Square Garden, Macy's, and about 4 blocks from the closest subway station. There is also a 7/11 right next door, and a Starbucks across the street, among tons of other businesses and food options. It is also an easy location to get a cab. The hotel itself is very small, but what do you expect- it's New York. The rooms appeared to be newer, or remodeled. They were modern, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly. We had a King room, and the bathroom was good sized with plenty of counter space to lay out our belongings. If you like to leave your luggage out, you will be hopping over your bags due to the lack of floor space. I recommend using the drawers and closet they provide, and store your bags in the corner. We stayed on the 25th floor in the back, and it was quiet. Other than the occasional siren from the street, we did not hear any noise. We booked through Hotwire, so we did not qualify for any perks, but if you book through the hotel, I believe you can get complimentary breakfast, military discount, etc. There is a restaurant/bar in the hotel, and also a mini-fridge, Keurig and a couple of k-cups in the room. Overall, we were happy with our stay! Can't beat the convenience of a good location. Collapse

Well what can I say about this brilliant hotel, on arrival we was greeted and checked in by a staff member called "Rocky" who was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a brilliant location in terms of time square, transport links, food and other great places you would visit e.g. Central Park , Grand Central Station. The Hotel staff are very friendly and always willing to help and go that extra mile, we had two hotel rooms and I can honestly say they up there with some of the best hotels rooms I have ever stayed in , the rooms we got (one on the ninth floor and one on the Sixth Floor) were clean, spacious and very well equipment ,each room had a lovely bathroom , television with various channels, Air Conditioning, fridge , safe, alarm clock, desk and of course a lovely comfortable bed , along with iron , ironing board and hairdryer. The room on the ninth floor had a view overlooking 8th avenue which was really good as you get to hear and see the world of New York during the day and during the night. The only down side which I mean is the ONLY downside about this hotel was the lifts , there are two lifts in the hotel but due to the fact they are heavily used throughout the day by various other hotel guest, you do find yourself waiting until a lift becomes free , but don't let that put you off as most of the time we used the stairs anyways (trying to keep fit haha). I really do once again recommend this hotel, its clean the staff are friendly, location is spot on and the rooms really do have everything you need to make your stay really enjoyable, I cannot recommend it enough !!!!! I also recommend if you do stay at this hotel (I really don't see why you wouldn't) there is a $1 Pizza shop across the road (as you leave the hotel turn right) they do amazing pizza !!!!!!!! Bell men were excellent whenever we needed to get a yellow cab.Lovely little French style deli near for quick breakfasts or even a slice of cheese cake. Can highly recommend for location. Collapse

This property isn't really on my repeat list. The location is OK. The rooms are OK. The staff is OK. All around, OK. There are hotels that are closer to Times Square. There are hotels with larger rooms. There are hotels with better staff. To avoid the parking fees charged by the hotel I purchased parking three blocks away through and app and walked my luggage to and from the hotel. The rooms are TINY even by NYC standards. Think cruise ship stateroom small. There is no more than 18" on any side of the bed. The bathroom opens directly up to the bed, so privacy is really a no-go. The staff at check in wasn't very friendly. The housekeeping staff wasn't polite and didn't really greet me at any point in time. The lobby was a little on the dirty side, but the hallways and rooms are tiny. You will wait for a considerable amount of time for the elevator. I used the elevators twice... check in and check out. The rest of the time I took the stairs, and I had a high floor room... if that's any indication of how inconvenient the elevators are! There was plenty of hot water when I showered, the rooms were spotless, and the view wasn't bad. The rate was $250+ when I stayed there which was way too high for such a compact property. We're headed back to NYC in a few months and have chosen to stay elsewhere. Collapse
