We chose this hotel for 3 reasons. Off strip so it was quiet with no resort tax, low rise and apartment style with private outside space. It fulfilled all these requirements excellently. Check in was easy and friendly. Very pleasant staff. The apartment was very spacious with a full kitchen, washer/dryer (very useful when travelling) and a lovely comfortable big bed. The small patio was great to sit out with a glass of wine. We much prefer hotels set out in this style rather than high rise blocks which take ages to get outside! Ate in the restaurant once which was Ok - nothing exceptional. The mini market was very useful for self catering - enough for breakfast items and a few bottles of wine. Very handy as we didn't have a car at this point. They offer a shuttle to the strip but we didn't find we needed it as its only a 10 minute walk. Thoroughly recommend it Collapse
Decent location, shuttle to the strip best attributes

Let me start off by saying the room was nice except that the carpet had dirty spots. Kind of frustrating considering I have to pay a $74 housekeeping fee. That was frustrating considering I have already paid for my timeshare that I exchanged, plus maintenance fee and the the exchange fee. The biggest downside to this resort is that it is 3 stories high and does not have ELEVATORS! Keep that in mind when you book. Also the customer service was frustrating. When we check in the guy told me we would be able to check out a little late. When I called the last day, I was told that was not possible. So I had to skip my breakfast and shower to get out by 10:00 a.m. sharp. An extra hour would have meant a great deal but there was no flexibility. Also, were in building 19 which was a long way from the front desk. To sum up. I think this resort is ok, but I will not stay here again and I am a Holiday Inn Club owner who came in on RCI. I told them this, but it did not seem to help any. There are better choices. Collapse

We have been to Las Vegas several times and have found it to be a very tiring holiday. So this time we decided to stay just off the "strip",somewhere we could chill out during the day before going off in the evening. We choose the Holiday Inn after looking at several others and we were not disappointed.Upon arrival the front desk staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We even had a "golf buggy"to take us and our luggage to our suite. The suite was large and well equipt with even a walk in wardrobe.Tucked away on the balcony there was even a room with a washing machine and tumble dryer in it,and they even supply the washing powder. Each suite was set in a small block and each block had its own swimming pool,so overall there was five swimming pools, which was ideal for somewhere to go and chill out.On the site was a bar and restaurant ,having a good selection of food and drink, and a mini supermarket for all your needs. The resort even had a shuttle to get you to all the attractions up and down the strip. All the staff were always helpful and friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble. The only slight problem was that as we are both in our sixties,it was a 10 minute walk to the "High Roller" and from there another 10 minute walk to the "strip" and as the weather was in the high 90's we found that hard work, but we shouldn't moan too much about nice weather as we don't get much of it in the UK Also there was free Wifi, which was available anywhere in the hotel, even in the suites which is unusual.I can't even get that 70 miles from London and Las Vegas is 5500 miles from London Overall it was a great holiday and would recommend the Holiday Inn to anybody Collapse

Arrived after a long flight. Quick check in , took us a while to find our room but we got there in the end. Our apartment was on the 3 floor block 13 room 301b. Lovely and clean good size bed and very comfortable. Pool was quite but that was good for us. It's about 15 minute walk from the main strip . Being away from the strip was good . This was a very relaxing holiday. We stayed 10 day our room was cleaned once and all bedding and towels refreshed, we think the bedding and towels should be change more because it was so hot. There have a shop a bit pricey but is ok for bits and pieces. The staff we spoke to where friendly and would give this 5 stars. Our problem was when we got home I realised I left my I pad on the bed we phone them they put us through security we gave them all the details and our e- mail address . They have acknowledged the e- mail and gave us a log number. We have not heard anything since. They no who cleaned our room and we have since learned that someone as tried to buy something from e- bay. Such a shame because I know I left it there but that does not give someone the right to keep it. I would like to think all staff are trustworthy but I am sorry to say that is not the case. Collapse
