The hotel has a great location and lots of common facilities and comfy seats. Fron desk friendly. Room was clean and tidy with fresh colorscheme. Extremely comfortable bed + bedding. As a pillow lover I needed more and easily got 2 extra pillows from the front desk. Minus for no amenities in the bathroom (only upon request from the fron office) and confusing breakfast area. The later you go to have breakfast the more options were finished. Breakfast was on Saturday until 11, but at 10:30 lots of bowls vere empyt and dishes finished. Lots of dirty dish on tables from previous customers. Breakfast did not inculde in the room price which was surprising as same star hotels include breakfast in their room price... If you get back to your hotel in the night, the door is closed and opened from the front desk upon ringing the bell. Overall a good option, but not great! Collapse

It's an excellent choice for someone who is travelling by train and flight as it's located right next to the Central Railway station which is also where the Finnair Aiport Express bus stop is. It's very centrally located otherwise modest building but the rooms where a good size, quite, clean with comfortable beds. Serves well for business travelers as well. The breakfast was no thrills but had everything you need . Collapse

I was in and out of this hotel in one night. I ate at the restaurant and the selection was good. Breakfast was quick and well stocked. The room I had was average size, the bed as two single duvets on one bed. Shower only but all worked well. Hanging space was a little small. Staff were very helpful and made the visit enjoyable. Reasonably close to the airport with 20 min bus links. I would definitely stay here again. Collapse

I stayed there two days one night on transit at the end of October 2016. I seldom write reviews but I think this hotel is a gem and I want to let everyone know. Firstly, the location is really good. From the airport, you can take the Finnair shuttle into town and it ends at the Central Train Station and that is exactly where the hotel is. Get off the bus, take a short walk and you are there. Very convenient when you leave town and head back to the airport. Secondly, the hotel is very well maintained. Usually hotel lobbies look good but not necessarily the rooms. In this case, it was good throughout the property. The decor is bright and cheery with nice colours and the furniture is well made and designed. Lobby: There are many areas in the lobby for people to sit comfortably at, read a book, watch tv or just while away the time. There are also plenty of charging points to juice up your devices. There is also a small fire place to keep you warm and the lady running the salad bar in the lobby is friendly and helpful. The check-in staff were all very friendly, helpful and polite. Even the trainee (can't remember her name) knew her work well. They were always smiling when attending to guests - a nice change from some other establishments. I dropped my huff and realised it only when I had already gone out for the day in near zero C temperature. Was pleasantly surprised to find that it was found by someone in the lobby area and kept aside waiting for my return. Room: Again, the decor and furnishings were very well done. Good colour coordination and the workmanship of the furniture was good. I actually inspected the cupboards and wardrobe to see if they paid attention to details and they did. The shower and toilet were clean and well maintained. The taps were even wiped and shiny with no watermarks. The mattress was very comfortable. Room size was good enough for me. Certainly not small nor huge but more than enough for 1-2 persons. Breakfast: This is at the second level. I like the way they designed it cos the dining area is at an atrium ie super high ceiling all the way up to the roof of the hotel. The spread of food was good with a wide variety. Usual morning breakfast menu. I was tickled to see that they deployed a dedicated iPad just to serve drinks: orange, apple, lingonberry and cold water. You touch the drink you want on the iPad and the adjacent tap will serve the drink. Makes me wonder if iPads are very cheap in Helsinki or taps are very costly. Either way, it was a nice touch. The hotel is within walking distance to many attractions eg the Rock Church, market square and several malls. On my last day, I had a few hours to kill before catching my flight. I could have gone to a cafe or walk around town or go to the airport early. Instead, I chose to sit in one of the lobby areas which was more like a living room of one's home and with floor to ceiling glass that looked out into the street. I had the area all to myself to read and catch some news on the TV while staying out of the cold. Overall, I am very happy staying at this hotel and will definitely stay there again the next time I visit Helsinki. For the quality this hotel provides, the price is very, very reasonable. I have paid 2x more in other lesser hotels. Collapse

The hotel is well decorated and feels very modern. It has big, warm, well decorated rooms with comfortable beds and a big TV, and a great wifi connection. Staff were very helpful and the people there were friendly. We were very happy wih our stay here and would recommend it to others travelling to Helsinki for either work or a city break. Collapse
