We booked a family room for one night as we had a very early filght the next morning. First off, the staff are pretty much the friendliest I've come across at any hotel ever! Our family room was for our family of four (including 4 year old twins) and consisted of a double bed with foldout sofa bed that was already made up on our arrival. Perfectly fine for us. Early breakfast (starting from 4am) is a definite bonus. Locationwise, the hotel is great, especially if you're returning a rental car before your flight. Turning right out of the hotel looks like a dead end, but a small road links it to the street with all the car rental outlets - this is super convenient as the alternative is to follow the crazy system of roundabouts and roads which (for me) always involves taking a wrong turn. Due to said roads, I doubt its possible to walk to the airport, but the same goes for any of the hotels located nearby and I' say this one id definitely the closest. Would definitelystay here again for the convenience, friendliness and value for money! Collapse

Perfect if you need to be near the airport for morning flights or if you get in late. Excellent staff. Comfortable rooms for the price. Good breakfast and I enjoyed my dinner. It's not a holiday hotel. It is not with in walking distance of anything of interest, it is a nice convenient airport stop. Taxi to the airport takes less than 5 minutes. Collapse

The hotel is fine, nothing really to complain about but getting there is not easy and they don't seem to have made any effort to help this. Google maps does is best but takes you to a dodgy industrial estate on the other side of a train track. The only way to access it is if you come from the east ( Malaga) side and just before the turning to the airport there is little sign that is not repeated bit you have to follow your nose across almost dirt tracks until you see it. We had to go around a crazy motorway multiple junction to get to this point, stressful afyer a long drive at night. JUST PUT IT ON THE INSTRUCTIONS , HOLIDAY INN , PLEASE! Collapse

This is a great airport hotel for a short stay or layover and I'm really surprised to read some people's complaints as I had a great stay and I'm very pleased with my choice. If you expect a shuttle, maybe you should book a place that has one, as in *read* the description of the hotel and the services they provide... The hotel is located very close to the airport, a very short drive from it and not too far away from the city either. There is also a bus stop nearby and the staff will give you information about the buses or how to get to the city or airport. The taxi ride to the airport will cost you more as they have fixed rates, but assuming you're not going to do it more than once during your stay, you will be okay. It's a modern hotel and the rooms we got were big enough and very clean. I found my bed to be very comfortable and for the first time I could choose between a soft pillow and a hard one, most hotels I've stayed in only provide really soft pillows. Although most people would argue that those soft ones are oh so comfy, they are not good for your neck and back at all, so two thumbs up to this hotel for giving us a healthier alternative as well! The bathroom was perfect, I had a really nice bathtub with good water pressure, everything was spotlessly clean. There was a kettle in the room with some coffee and tea, there was enough storage space, a TV and internet, although a bit slow. Breakfast is served between 7 and 10 in the morning on weekdays and there is also an earlier breakfast with some basics for those who have early flights. It was a good selection, nothing too fancy, but it really did the trick: bread, cold cuts, pastries, juices, cereal. You can also have dinner at the hotel, they offer a simple selection for okay prices, and as some have written there are also vending machines in the lobby and you can even order takeaway. The staff were friendly and spoke English and we had no trouble checking in and out. I'll admit it was a bit noisy at times during the evening, we got two rooms on the ground floor very close to the lobby, but I thought about that afterwards: true, some walls may be thin and the hotel maybe needs better soundproofing, but guests need to learn how to not wake up the whole neighborhood as well. Guests need to remember that other guests are there because they need a place to rest in between flights, some have early flights and so on. Some of the groups that arrived while I was having dinner were really loud. Don't just walz into the lobby and corridors and make a ton of noise, have some manners and consideration for your fellow travelers! All in all, I can really recommend this hotel and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. It was great value for the money and I had a very good experience. Collapse

One night at this hotel was barely OK. It is the very closest to the airport, which is the only reason to stay - we over-nighted for convenience only. There is not a shuttle, and to reach the hotel one can take the city bus, walk between 1/4 and1/2 mile including an exposed overpass above the highway (in our case in a light rain that had rendered the sloping walkways treacherous) and across parking lots. Even on the top floor the badly fitted window let in the sound of traffic that hardly abated all night. Breakfast was adequate with plenty of pastries and fruit juice. One last thing - at check-in ask to have a normal pillow or you will find yourself lieing on thick lump of something exceedingly firm. Impossible to lie face down on. Collapse
