I stayed here in Nov 2016 for 4nights on my first trip to dubai. All my requests from changing room to borrowing a iron were dealt with smoothly and efficiently. The staff here really no how to look after customers. My room was sleek and modern, no balcony or windows that open would be my only gripe. I stayed on the first floor right next to the 24 hour gym. You access the gym with your roomcard so it's always there whenever you need it, a really nice touch for gym enthusiasts like myself. The hotel location is not ideal if you want to walk anywhere. Unless you are walking to a busstop and there are various ones in every direction from the hotel connecting you with the whole of dubai. This was my favourite means of transport I found dubai buses to be clean, regular and economical. Taxis are always on hand right outside the hotel door if you prefer convenience. The continental breakfast was alot more extensive than others I have experienced. There were options like potato wedges, olives and sweetcorn, aswell as the more traditional croissants, yogurts and cereals. The range meant I could start my day with something different everyday and I love variety in life. All in all if I ever visit dubai again I won't hesitate to stay here again. And I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind a bit of travel. Collapse

Together with my wife and In-laws, I booked 2 rooms for a short getaway to Dubai. We arrived around 2:00 in the afternoon after a short drive from Abu Dhabi. We arrived assuming that our rooms would be ready upon checking in, but we were told to wait for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes past, we were told to wait a little bit more saying that they will be looking for 2 rooms near each other, so we waited again. After more than an hour waiting and we could no longer afford to wait, we decided to just leave to see the city and come back during the night to check in. When we checked in, yes our rooms were on the same floor, but they were not close to each other as they promised. They were at the opposite ends of the floor. I paid for an extra bed for the other room so I was expecting the sofa bed set up and prepared with bedding and pillow upon our arrival, but this was not the case - we arrived close to midnight and had to call housekeeping to set up the bed. After settling down my in-laws, my wife and I headed for our rooms. When my wife took a shower, she noticed that there was only 1 towel for a room that was booked for a couple. Again we had to call housekeeping for an extra towel but it did not arrive until in the morning when we had to call again. We also called that night complaining one of the pillow case had a torn sheet. We thought that we were already done with all the issues, but I was wrong - my mother in-law called to let us know that they don't even have one towel in their room! The room was booked for 3 person but no single towel was prepared! The whole of the 2nd basement parking smelled horrible, presumably from the trash that were still not properly disposed. Nice rooms and location but service is poor . I am an IHG Gold Elite customer, working towards getting to Platinum Elite and I would say that this is so far the worst IHG experience I ever had. We took this one because many others downtown were full. Did not expect much and did not get much. Reception staff, especially Nancy and another N were very nice and efficient. Security was helpful too. Lobby is awful, poorly furnished with highly uncomfortable sofas. Some rooms have their (only) window opening in to the shaft and you are not warned in advance about it. They give 350 ml drinking water per person on day 1 and after that sell it at exorbitant price no matter how long you stay. They also make you share the bath and hand towels and give you precisely two sachets of tea/coffee (if you use one, they replenish only that). For all these things you have to keep requesting. When we checked in, the bath cubicle door remained ajar by more than an inch (they fixed it on request within an hour). All in all, a little poor hospitality!! They should take a re-look at the house rules and freebies The breakfast is good though and definitely a big plus. Availability of taxi also is good. House keeping is so so. So like I said, Average. We chose this hotel when travelling from our base in Abu Dhabi to spend a night with friend in Dubai. Got a fairly good deal including breakfast, which was way better than most hotels in expensive Dubai. Yes, its a bit far from the more central parts of Dubai where Tourists like to spend their holiday. But there are some restaurants and small shops not so far away. Staff at reception were nice and friendly and quickly checked us in to our room. The room was a bit of a disappointment and lacked of a view, since it was an interior room which booking.com did not inform us of. But nevermind, we were not there to look out of the window. Room was quite average Holiday Inn Express, which means its a bit on the small side, but with good beds. Bathroom was quite tired looking and would use a refurbishment, shower cabin leaked etc. The hotel had a bar with a basic selection, but I dont think they have many guests either. However, we stayed there for a beer. In the morning we went for breakfast, which was actually pretty good for the price paid. A nice selection of cold and warm stuff. Overall its an ok hotel, but only if you get a good deal Collapse
Nice place 👍

Stayed here for a week and had a great time. The breakfast was okay but not a lot of choices. The rooms were clean and all staff were pleasant & helpful. Location was closed to business, shopping & food centers.
