Reasonable prices for what we requested. Close To Gibraltar 7 miles , better to stay here cheaper than hotels In Gibraltar. Breakfast basic. Cups dirty and marked . Room ok . A average standard hotel meets requirements.

We found our room was spacious and furnished to a modern standard. The continental style breakfast was good, the staff were friendly and professional. There were very few restaurants within walking distance open close to the hotel however within a 4 min drive away there were several good restaurants at Palmones. The hotel was conveniently close to the A7 but not so close that traffic noise was a problem. Collapse

Enjoyed our two night stay at this hotel whilst visiting Gibraltar. We stayed here because the price was much cheaper than staying on the rock. The hotel is 2 - 3 minutes from junction 113B of the nearby motorway, and is situated just beyond the shopping and restaurant complex. We were well received by the young lady who spoke excellent English upon arrival. Our room was quite large, clean and comfortable and was situated immediately in front of the car park. A bit disappointed that the restaurant wasn't open on the Sunday evening so we had to go across to the restaurant complex mentioned earlier - normally we would have walked over as it was less than 5 minutes walk, but on this occasion it was pouring with rain so we drove. We enjoyed our breakfast on both days, yoghurts, cheese, ham, bread, croissants and even a selection of cakes, all washed down with orange juice and tea/coffee. On our second evening we had an enjoyable meal in the restaurant. They do 12.50 Euro 3 course deal which was very enjoyable with a number of options for each course. We took advantage of the happy hour on our second evening, with 2 for 1 drinks available from 5pm - 7pm, Monday to Friday. Would have been nice to have had the option of a draft beer, but they only had bottled one's available. Our trip into Gibraltar was very easy from the hotel, a fraction under 10 miles to the border which took us less than 20 minutes. All in all a good couple of nights and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for accommodation near Gibraltar. Collapse

Stayed here with my husband and 2 young children as a cheaper option for visiting Gibraltar. The room was a good size although the bathroom could have been cleaner as the bath was very dusty. The receptionist was very helpful when checking in and allowed is to check in 30 mins early. We ate at the hotel restaurant in the first night as we were tired after and early flight. We had pizzas, which were ok and similar to a frozen supermarket pizza. They were a bargain at 8 euros a head inc a glass of wine. The hotel also has a happy hour with two for one between 5 & 7 mon to fri. Beers were 2 euros and wine about the same. We ate at Fosters Hollywood across the road in the cinema complex which was good. The only letdown for this was the breakfast which was pretty poor. Unlike the Holiday Inn Express in the U.there is no scrambled eggs. The croissants were dry and tasted odd. The bread was also poor. If you like cold meat and pate for breakfast you will be ok. The trip to Gibraltar by bus is really easy and we used this every day including travel to and from the airport. It was 2€45 single / adult and our kids aged 4 & 3 were free. The journey takes about 20 mins. The bus us the M120 and runs 7 days / week, every 15 mins Mon to Fri, every 30 mins in a Saturday and every 45 mins in a Sunday. Beware however that the services do run early, by at least 5 minutes. The nearest stop for the hotel is cinema where they are building a petrol station. If you are coming from Gibraltar the bus station is about 10 minutes from the border ( after exiting the border cross the road and turn left towards the prefab shops-estate agent, car hire place- then continue until you see the Asian restaurant. Turn right in front of the restaurant and head straight on and you will see the bus station. It is in a residential area surrounded by flats. Be warned English is not widely spoken as I found out!!). When getting the bus to the hotel it is the stop before carrefour in Palmeros. As you come off the motorway you will see the cinema complex Bahia Plaza on the left. Get off at this stop as the Carrefour stop is a long walk to the hotel. There is a sort of walkway across the motorway. If we were returning to the area I would consider staying here again. Collapse
