We arrived late on a cold blustery evening, Reception staff gave a friendly warm welcome, Even came out side to show me where I could park. Grandchildrens thoughts this looks nice, Family room lots of room Very clean well appointed TV even had English channels which makes a nice change instead of BBC World which is often the norm. Beds comfy room warm Bathroom nice touches which are often missing in some hotels. Breakfast great selections enough to keep most happy. Will use again . Collapse
Dirty, understaffed and poorly managed.

Where do I start? I visited today with my 80 year old grandmother and was booked in for 1 night, firstly the receptionist was running the entire hotel on his own! The poor man was visibly stressed as he had to run the bar and deal with people checking in at the same time. I arrived at my room to see dirty bathroom tiles, a filthy sofa that looked like a stain in a tramps pants. The amount of dust inside my bathroom left me speechless and was also in my elderly grandmothers room. Just as I thought it couldn't get any worse my grandmother's toilet was broken and even though I notified reception 3 hours later it was still not fixed, my 80 year old grandmother then had to move all her belongings to another room ( also caked in dust and unclean ) at 11pm, after that we payed €15 for drinks that supposedly "couldn't be given on the house" even after the disgraceful rooms, I think the employees here are working way too hard and it isn't fair on them to have to fix a toilet then come down to serve a drink, surely they could've got a engineer rather than the receptionist?? I am lost for words and will never be returning to a holiday inn for as long as I live. Below are pictures of the room that I'm typing this review from now. Look forward to your reply -Mike Delaney Collapse

This is our 4th stay at this hotel and was a big let down. You can tell by my previous reviews I have always been very positive about this hotel, but not this time. We stay here on our way back from euro Disney every year. Always a friendly welcome and enjoy it as our final nights holiday. Got their and as normally a friendly welcome. We noticed the menu had changed but no problem we just ordered what we wanted I had omelette and chips which was ok to be fair. Kids meals was a choice of ham and turkey with vegetables, which ended up been ham and turkey cold slices you would put in a sandwich and vegetables in a sauce that kids would not normally eat. The wife had chicken curry with rice and said it was the worst rice ever, but we hate it so no big issue. At breakfast one of my daughters had a bowl of fruits that she said it did not taste good, I had nothing other than a glass of fruit. My other daughter had bacon and sausage and both were dried up she just could not eat it. The wife had crepe which was too rubbery to cut up so basically for breakfast I we had a glass of orange juice each and me and the wife had a cup of tea. I then checked out and very quietly told the man behind reception why I was not prepared to pay the full amount for breakfast. In the end he charged us nothing for breakfast. I then went to put the suitcase in the car and my wife waited for my daughters to go to the toilet. I also noticed the man behind reception went to the kitchen to report what I had said so they would make improvements . Right up until this point I could forgive everything and put it all down as a bad one of as we have had had so many good stays here, then this happened - The breakfast staff verbal abused my wife about the complaint in front of all the other customers, ok all 6 customers that were their. This was out of order and I will be taking this up with the IHG group, because of this one incident alone I will never stay here again or recommend this hotel Collapse
