We stayed one night before going to Hua Hin and another after our visit, and on both occasions we had a executive club room. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and with a very comfortable bed. The club room breakfast was amazing, with so many choices on offer and again the evening drinks and canapes from 6pm to 8pm also offered a great variety of hot food, cold food, cheeses and drinks and is all part of the club room package. We had late lunch by the pool one day, and there is a happy hour - buy one drink and get one free! I would not hesitate to recommending this hotel for the rooms, the service by the lovely staff and the cleanliness of the hotel. There is a smoking room which has a great city view in the club room - its a shame we also could not utilize this area. the club room has limited windows with a view, and it is a nice one! It is a shame that smokers have the best view Collapse

My wife and I decided to stay at this hotel for one night as we were attending a dinner nearby. We were quite disappointed with our stay. On arrival we asked the Concierge where my wife could have her hair washed and set. The hotel offered to call someone at a cost of THB3000. This is an astronomical price to be charged. The alternative suggested was to walk down the street in the hot sun looking for a hairdresser. That we did for 30 minutes not knowing if we would find one that was free. Eventually we did find one at a cost of THB1000 including a manicure and pedicure. Is it too difficult for the Concierge to have a list of local hairdressers with their telephone numbers and provide a basic service to guests? Our room looked sad and everything especially the bathroom was badly in need of refurbishment. The view from the small round window was a concrete wall about 12 feet away so there was little light. As an IHG member I received a letter on check in listing my club benefit rewards like 2 bottles of water and free internet - available free for all guests - and a "Full Bathroom amenity set up" which was probably also available to all but which did not include any cotton buds which my wife needed for her make up. I tried to lower the warm temperature in the room but it would not work. We did not have time to ask for a change of room. However I suspect the system needed replacing. The minibar was completely empty - not even the free water was put into it. The location was ideal for us but I suspect tourists would be disappointed at the distance to the Sky Train. Collapse

On arrival i was told the king bed i reserved was not available. I reminded them that my booking had been made over 6 months earlier and they had plenty of time to ensure the room was available. The reception staff were excellent in then makinh it possible and offering a very late checkout for the inconvenience of waiting, and it was only a short wait. Kudos to the desk staff. The room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed and lounge to relax on. The breakfast buffet had all you could want to chose from with subtle differences each day just to keep it interesting. We used the pool together with our late checkout which made wait for our early evening flight a pleasure. The hotel is reasonably close (short walk) the the sky train, ferry wharf and evening street food. Will stay here again. Collapse

This is the hotel that provided by my company. I am a flight attendant and per day we have around 180 staff from our company staying at this hotel. Usually in other countries the hotel staff doesn't want to deal with us because we tend to be very demanding and we tend to ask for some food at all times regardless if it is day or night. Here it's different, the staff are always helpful and treat us really well. From the start the rooms were ready for the entire crew (26 of us) and as soon as I arrived I ordered to have my uniform dry cleaned and it was immediately picked up. The shirt came very well pressed and starched like it was brand new. And my uniform looked brand new and it came back they managed to deliver it the same day. The food is always good, but in Thailand that is the norm. The rooms have been refurnished not to long ago and are very comfortable and neat. The bed is super comfortable and they have a pillow menu where you can choose if you want a hard or soft pillow with no extra cost. The location is very central, which makes commuting very easy for whichever needs a person wants. I've stayed in this hotel for almost 11 years and the staff has never disappointed me or treated me bad. Will definitely recommend it. Collapse

We were in between flights and instead of spending the night at the airport we decided to go back to our favorite neighborhood. Our usual hotel was fully booked so we decided to stay at the closest hotel which was the Holiday Inn. It was pleasant but the rooms are quite dark. The bathroom is very small and there is only a shower. The breakfast was very good and varied. The only real put off was the overbearing fragrance in the lobby. It was much too strong and a bit nauseating. Collapse
