Stayed here as our first hotel of a tour. We were jet lagged when we arrived so we went for a walk to stay awake. Nice enough walk to the Disney area, but taxied back. The pool area is nice. My mate and I walked to the Angels Stadium and it took about 20 minutes. My wife and friend went to the burger place for dinner and really enjoyed it. Breakfast buffet was good quality and the wait staff made me some eggs special. All in all a nice hotel. Collapse
Quality of hotel has fallen......disappointed!

I've stayed here a number of times now. 2010, 2014, 2015, and most recently in August 2017. My stays in 2010 and 2014 were great. I've written reviews on this but in 2015 I was a bit disappointed and didn't bother writing a review as my view was quite biased comparing it to past stays. This time I feel compelled to write a review on my most recent stay. The staff are great, the check-in staff, the night staff, and also the waiter in Burger Theory. The service from these is probably where the great experience ended. Despite blatantly being understaffed you can see them working extremely hard. Good job guys! So I checked in and realised there's no kettle. I needed one for my baby for his formula so the staff advised there's a Target store nearby. Perfect. We decide to bathe baby after our long flight and we notice the bathroom has not been cleaned properly. We have hair all over the walls. No doubt left by the previous guests. No worries, we bathe baby and I rinse the hair off and we head out. I mention this to the staff downstairs and they promise they will look into it. Later in the evening the night shift guy advises me he will inform the day manager to reach out to the third party agent to provide a refund for the one night. Great. I wasn't expecting this. Said he would like to provide me a free night but unable to do so due to this stay booked on hotels.com. Awesome. But this is where it ends. As we continue our 3 night stay, I noticed everyday my feet were black. My soles were covered in dirt due to how dirty the carpet is. I have to wear socks and even those were ot to the point where I could no longer walk around the room without slippers. The hallways leading to the elevators were no longer as bright as they used to be and the lift areas were not always the greatest. We are now in September and I have yet to receive any refund. I wasn't expecting this but because I was told this would happen, I'm very disappointed to say that no one has reached out to the 3rd party vendor who in turn have tried to reach out to the hotel on a number of occasions and have been knocked back every time because no one at the hotel is able to authorise this. I won't be returning back to the hotel unfortunately. Despite being my number one choice in Anaheim, this is no longer the case. Not because of the refund situation,it's more of the downfall to what was a really nice hotel back in the day. Only good thing now is the proximity to the freeway and outlet store. Collapse

Stayed here for 1 night only, after we finished our disney trip. Location is okay, definitely not walking distance, but they have a bus stop right there for bringing you to disneyland. Room is pretty okay for that price. Staff is nice.

Visited for one night and the hotel is ok. rooms are a little small and we asked for a double and a king but we did not get it even if the hotel was not sold out. They do have great transportation to go to the park. You can take the shuttle for $3.50 per adult and $2.00 per kid and it drops you off right in be front of the park. The pool is average but nice. Nothing walking distance so you have to have a car to go to shops or restaurant Parking is free which is nice Collapse

We just returned from a recent stay in this property and as a travel agent by trade I would have no hesitation to recommend this hotel to anyone going to Anaheim to visit Disneyland etc.... The hotel was bright and the room clean and spacious. As a family of 4 we had 2 queen beds in the room. The rooms also had a lovely and clean bathroom, with ample counter top space there too - a must for families!!! The staff here were wonderful, very friendly at all times of the day and had lots of knowledge regarding the surrounds and things to see and do. Obviously being in Anaheim; Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park were on our visit list and they have a shuttle that picks up every 20 minutes to drop off at the bus stops within the park - this came in very handy especially at night when the queues to drop off where HUGE - I was so glad we didn't Uber or taxi it there would have wasted half out time just waiting. This bus also drops you back at the hotel and runs until midnight (or close enough). The pool area is brilliant at this property and they have a bar with Happy Hour - a great addition to Mums and Dads just wanting to relax by the pool too - oh and also a BBQ which guests can utilise if the kitchen staff aren't cooking up a storm. There is also a nice and fairly large spa there too. The breakfast buffet in the morning was delicious - I can honestly say I overindulged on those breakfast potatoes every morning - but it was a great way to fill up for the day!!! And if you didn't want the scrambled eggs on offer the staff were more than happy to get you your eggs done any way you wanted them. They also have a neat little convenience store where you can grab bits and bobs: food, drinks, head ache tablets. Due to us having to cut our trip short and husband travelling on to Dallas, they were able to extend our room occupation until 3:00pm (FOC!!!!) and then store our luggage - we also then had use of the pool which has a area to then shower and to change the kids into their plane travelling clothes. This was a absolute bonus as it meant we didn't have to hang around LAX. All and all I found no faults with hotel at all - our toilet played up at one stage and maintenance were quick to get his fixed. Also they have THE BEST body lotion that I have ever used in a hotel - coconut and lime - heavenly!! Collapse
