We have just visited here for our honeymoon 13th-23rd June. First of all the weathers been fantastic, 32-45 degrees everyday. When we arrived we had been upgraded to room 29 an executive room cause we were on our honeymoon. The room was extremely spacious, clean modern with a large bathroom the only major disappointment was our balconies, at first we thought we were lucky cause we had 2 but unfortunately neither were suitable to use. The first was large and looked out to the main promenade at the side of the hotel, but was absolutely covered in seagull poo, with seagulls flying over constantly, no table and chairs as it obviously wasn't somewhere to sit. The 2nd was so small roughly 6ft by 3ft with leaking air conditioning unit on the wall, we couldn't even open the patio door without bashing the chairs outside, lovely see view though, we never sat out which was a shame, a massive let down on the hotel as all are small balconies. We always managed to get a sun bed, one fairly spacious area for sunbathing was always empty bar 1-2 people brave enough to sit out there. Due to the high number of seagulls flying over.. my husband on our first day got pooped on by them while sunbathing ( which made me laugh of course!!) So we never sat there again.. they really need to cull these seagulls as they are a nuisance it was ridiculous. The food was lovely, plenty of choice sometimes it could could've done with been warmer but all in all we were quite happy. Staff very friendly especially the bar staff Gregorio was lovely they all had time to chat and were very pleasant, a couple of restaurant staff who started in our last couple of days here could learn to smile a bit more though, they looked bored and put out that they had to work to be honest. The Indian restaurant was beautiful the curries better than we have at home and we're curry fanatics so well worth a visit. This is mainly a saga holidays hotel we were the youngest by far.. in 40 my husband 51. This really isn't a hotel for families in my opinion as nothing for kids at all. A few children arrived towards the end of our stay and the oldies looked disapproving at the disturbance of the peace. There's no entertainment on a night only twice a week a organ player and a saxophone player. It's very close to main shops and with hotel straight onto beach that was a lovely bonus. All in all had a lovely honeymoon not the best all inclusive but definitely not the worst we have stayed at. Collapse

The only down side with our stay was we could only see guests older than us, we called them the gray hair group. If you're looking for a place to relax this is the one. Collapse

the hotel is in an amazing position overlooking the beach with beutiful views along the coast and easy walking distance to many restaurants along a pedestrian promanade. the hotel rooms on arrival were clean and from then on were not cleaned until the day before we left.the beds were made badly and towels changed but surfaces were left with cup marks etc the entire holiday the bed cover remained on the floor the whole 2 weeks..my partner and i had a large room outlook was a brick wall no balcony which didn't bother us as we don't stay in room all day.my partners mother had a small twin to herself which was lucky as you couldn't fit two people in it.her balcony was like a hole in the wall with enough space for 1 chair and no table. te breakfasts were fine the rest of the meals were very poor ,luke warm very little choice in fact the worst all inclusive buffet i have ever seen.lack of waiters .on the nights that saga had their gala dinners my partner ending up getting the wine and serving ourselves and other tables around us! Nicholas was the friendliest waiter we had. They worked hard just not enough.the same applied to the bars the pool bar was supposed to be open every day,was day it didn't open at all other days at odd times it closed for lack of staff.the main bar was fine Sirifim was very pleasant and helpful but it closes for all inclusive deals at 10.pm? we ate out most days at local restaurants which were extremely good and reasonable prices.so buy the time we got back to the hotel we had to pay extra for our drinks. Portugal is a lovely place and we will definitely be back but not to this hotel. Collapse

stayed here last year with my girlfriend in July. late review but I am going to start reviewing everywhere I stay.. The hotel itself is really nice with great views, great staff. There door which leads straight from the hotel to the beach. The pool is a lil small but still nice if you want to stay out the sea water as the sea can be a lil rough especially if you have kids. you do have all kinds of watersports you can do if that's your thing :) . the food is very decent not AMAZING apart from when they had a outdoor BBQ when then I can say omg this tastes so good. But they have a good variety which offers different choices for lunch and dinner pretty much everyday. Breakfast however is more or less the same everyday.. staff are friendly and the rooms are very well air-conditioned especially as temperatures can hit the mid 30s and at night its still in the mid 20s.. My personal favourite part of the hotel is the cocktails all fruit was fresh and the bar man knew exactly how to make them the right way but they had a good variety of choices for peoples taste.... the town itself is really nice great restaurants everywhere. outdoor entertainment, good shops for souvenirs. I could not fault the hotel or the town. would deffo come back after I have gone to other countries I want to visit first. Collapse
