This is an excellent hotel. The staff are friendly and are all first class in what they do. Everyone is keen to help when they can. The food is the best, be it at the breakfast (amazing pancakes) or dinner which are buffet`s, there is an excellent selection of food with different options each night. The hotel pool is across the not very busy road from the main part of the hotel and can also be accessed via a tunnel avoiding any traffic. The Pool is large good for real swimming and has a large grassy area to chill out on. Not forgetting the indoor pool which is great for a swim and a chill out if you don't fancy the beach. Evenings in the hotel are pleasant often with some form of gentle entertainment nothing Karaoki here! Cala Millor has a large German influence and when we were there this was reflected in the hotel, only a few English voices, although the staff speak excellent English. The clientele here appreciate quality and this is what this place offers. Mostly couples only a few families with young children when we stayed in October. Its situated at the quieter Southern end of the resort about 20mins walk to the main area of shops etc The beach is only a few minutes walk. Collapse

Just back from our third visit here. One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. As previous reviewers have just said, the food is terrific. The staff very pleasant and hard working. It has all been said already.....we'll be back again.

My partner and I have just returned home from a wonderful 10 day stay at this lovely hotel. The staff have to mentioned, you are made to feel most welcome from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. Beatrix on reception was wonderfully welcoming and the glass of prosecco was most welcomed. The staff in the restaurant work so hard, running around, clearing plates, getting drinks - absolutely amazing pace they work at. Must mention Silvana who was lovely with always a cheeky smile. We stayed half board and the food was lovely, such a wide variety to choose from both for breakfast and for evening meal that I can't possibly mention everything but if you're eating here it's worth taking a walk along the serving areas first before deciding what you want to eat as you may miss something! In the evenings show cooking but also loads of ready prepared foods - candied duck was amazing! Salads - choice of several prepared salads plus make your own with plenty of dressings to chose from. Desserts were lovely. We ate at the pool bar 4 times, the food there was superb as well, presented lovely and very tasty. The housekeeping was excellent. Our room was kept immaculate by the ladies who do the cleaning. The room was lovely, plenty of wardrobe space. Twin wash basins in the bathroom. Comfortable beds. Lovely. We stayed in the main part of the hotel in a room overlooking the road and across to the pool area. It was lovely, the road is not noisy. In other reviews people mentioned the entertainment being noisy but we never had a problem. Yes, you could hear the entertainment but only just and it was not enough to stop us from going sleep. By the pool - plenty of sunbeds. You are advised at reception that they do not allow reserving of the sunbeds and there is no need to whatsoever. On the day we arrived we went to the pool about 1pm, there were plenty of beds and we had a choice. Also the other days we went to the pool there were always beds available during the day at any time. Congratulations to the hotel for stopping the reserving of the beds, it works brilliantly - I wish other hotels would take up your stance. Overall, a wonderful hotel with wonderful staff. Well worth staying here. 20 out of 10. Collapse

Great experience staying in this hotel. We stayed in a suite on the second floor overlooking the pool area. The decor is a little old fashioned, but still feels fresh and the rooms were very clean. The staff was fabulous. The food is first class with an abundance of choice. We tried a few local restaurants but the food at the hotel was much better! The pool is large and sparkling clean and there is expansive grassed areas around the pool - plenty of space. We really enjoyed staying at the hotel, but we will never travel to Majorca again. This is pretty rude, but we found the resort area and resort beaches around Cala Millor really tacky and run down. It might have been good in the 70s and 80s but not now. We were also a bit overwhelmed by the number of German tourists (80% Germans). Collapse

Adding to all the other very positive reviews on here, my visit in August was just as wonderful. I would like to thank all the kind and friendly staff for making our 10 night stay so successful. It truly was a 5* hotel with staff to match. I am going to focus my review on the quality of food and drink and the waiting staff in the restaurant. By no means does this mean that I wasn't impressed with the large swimming pool, ample of sun loungers, quality of the evening entertainment - including Carlos, who led this as well as many of the day activities (also we had an exceptionally clean, quiet and comfortable room with fresh flowers). However as someone with coeliac disease taking a risk and booking half board in a hotel I have not been to previously, I was absolutely delighted. The quality and quantity of the choice of food at the buffet dinner on the first night was at first overwhelming. I then spoke to the maitre d who couldn't be more helpful and also understood about gluten free. She gave me an A4 folder which contained a comprehensive list of all the dishes and which allergens they contained. It was very clear and easy to understand. For the next 10 days I used this at breakfast and dinner and each meal time was a complete success! I also got to enjoy a wider range of food than normal including Mexican and Chinese food. On their special gala dinner evening they had arranged for me to have special gluten free appetisers which was a lovely surprise. The Head Chef and other staff were aware of my condition and were always very helpful and accommodating. I was able to ask for GF bread at either breakfast or dinner and this was individually wrapped and warm when served to me. There was also the option of GF mini croissants in the morning too. Along with all the free Cava that the restaurant serves at breakfast time - it was always a pleasure to be in their dining room. One of my worries about choosing a 5* hotel was that the drinks would then be very expensive. However I was pleasantly surprised as both soft and alcoholic drinks were reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future. Collapse
