The Hilton Warsaw, located in the modern financial center of Warsaw is large and caters to corporate conferences with 314 hotel rooms and suites, underground parking for 340 cars plus one of the largest conference centers in Warsaw. The Hilton Warsaw is next to a Holmes Place premium gym providing free of charge access for all guests. The fitness center features an Olympic size swimming pool, sauna, large studio space and impressive gym floor. Location wise it is a 15 minute walk to a shopping center and the Palace of Culture. Prior to booking the two night stay at the Hilton Warsaw (Executive King Room inclusive of breakfast) my girlfriend and I stayed at the Intercontinental Warsaw which provided us with a good point of comparison. At a total price of 2,525.04 zl (inclusive of 8% VAT) which works out to about GBP 500 the Hilton Warsaw was not value for money. The Hilton Warsaw was all that the Hilton brand promises - a standardized and reliable experience anywhere in the world; from the bed sheets to the buffet breakfast. The service was super friendly but the hotel feels large and corporate; mainly due to the fact it attracts big convention bookings. Frankly at GBP 250 a night it is not good value when compared to the Intercontinental. While I recognize that the Hilton Warsaw has to play by the corporate policies of the overall brand, there is some flaws in the overall experience. Firstly, upon arrival there was a long cue in the lobby to check-in. When I inquired about a expedited check-in desk for Hilton Hhonors gold members, I was told three was not one. Secondly, I was told that, although a Gold member I had to pay for wifi access (45 zl for basic access a day or 65 zl for fast access a day) given I had not booked though hilton.com. While I understand the commercial reasoning; Hilton wants to drive people to book on their website given they do not pay commissions to third parties like booking.com, it is not a policy that rewards loyal customers. Hilton.com trumps loyalty and status. That is just not right. The argument given to me at the check in desk was that all other hotel groups where considering the same policy. So much for treating guests differently. The Hilton Warsaw is a good option for business travelers or leisure travelers looking for a safe standard experience. For those looking for something more personalized and less corporate try another Collapse

This is not the most conveniently located hotel for tourists but we chose it because it has an Executive Lounge. Unfortunately, this lounge did not have an ‘executive’ feel about it. It was quite cramped, the sofas were uncomfortable and had worn, grubby arms. The sitting areas immediately outside were much more appealing. The breakfast was very good, however. The front desk staff had some difficulty understanding us (and other English-speaking guests) and, at one point, we noticed that only one person was on duty and a queue of more than 10 people had built up. The Concierge was extremely pleasant, helpful and efficient as were the staff in the Business Centre. The restaurant had a poor choice of evening meal and our food came on a cold slate set in a ‘bread board’. We were given no rolls or butter. Our Executive Room was spacious but there were some issues. The hotel appears to have purchased a new TV package so what is available on the screen is not what is listed in the room. The so-called BBC channel is, in fact, old BBC programmes interrupted by Polish advertisements. We do not, of course, expect that have BBC everywhere we go but, if it is provided, it needs to be news orientated as in most hotels worldwide. The WiFi seemed to be a bit up and down in strength. The battery in the bathroom scales had run out but had not been replaced. This was, for us, the second example of a Hilton Hotel in Poland which should be better than it is. Collapse

Nice modern style, comfortable hotel. Ample space for 2 guests with larger style single beds and a very spacious bathroom featuring a bath and separate shower. Walking distance to the Centrum shopping complex was roughly 10minutes and pretty much to most points of interest including the old town were not far away. There is a gas station across the road if you want some quick snacks or drinks and also for anyone with hire cars, there's a car park right near the gas station that is a lot cheaper than all the underground ones nearby.
