We stayed at the hilton for 3 night. We had some issues wirh the booking but Diana could fix the problem and we still had a wonderfull 3 days stay. We booked a family room but stayed at the presidential suite, it has great views over the golfcourse and it was very quite during the day and night. The breakfast area is great and there is a lot of variety on local and international cuisine. The only thing that I didn't like so much was the hustle. It's not very huge for the big hotel it is, so you maight have to wait sometime to be seated. But this was not the problem, what I found a little disturbing was the way the waiters hustled. I understand that they have a lot of pressure, to clear the tables and prepare new ones so that new guests can sit down, however this was to hectic and to noisy. I would prefer the staff to handle this in a quite and slow motion instead of running arround, what caused some impacts with guests and myself. It's not that I would take out some points for this, it's just something I saw and I'm pretty sure they can do better. The room was very clean with a lot of love for details. I really appeiciated the warm and wellcome atmosphere and the employees at the front desk such as the others did a great job. We will be back shortly. Firstly, I have never written a review about anything in my life before...so that should emphasise how much I enjoyed our stay at the Hilton. We travelled to the hotel with our 11 week old baby for our 2nd wedding anniversary last week. (Taxi from airport about 20-25mins 35Euros). We had emailed the hotel in advance to ask for a cot and to be in a quiet room, my husband also explained that it was our anniversary. On arrival we were over the moon to have been upgraded to a 1 bedroom apartment room in a 'quiet zone'. Spacious bedroom, living room, kitchen, two bathrooms and ground floor veranda overlooking private garden & cot was provided. The room was gorgeous and made such a difference to our holiday as we spent a lot of time in there with our baby. Air con great, cleaners great...bottle of fizz and treats were also a pleasant surprise! Only gripe about room was that the TV's were temperamental and would switch off a lot for no reason. Had drinks in the bar, great service! Only ate at the poolside restaurant but food was delicious and excellent service (packaged all of our food up at the drop of a hat when the baby decided to cry). Also had room service on an evening and for breakfast, both fantastic! Pool lovely, special credit to poolside staff who everyday would find us sun loungers, group them together in the shade, next to the baby pool and find us umbrella's to save us hunting a space out with the baby. Brilliant service! Also great transfer service down to the marina. Always on time, quick and easy and staff very helpful again. Finally, had a trip to the spa which was amazing. Definitely worth a trip. All round, one of my favourite hotels. Clean, comfortable, great amenities and great staff. Collapse

My partner and I got married at the Hilton Vilamoura earlier this month. Where do we start. From start to finish we had the time of our lives. We stayed for a week and got married on the saturday with approx 40 guests. We got married in the romantic gardens with the reception in the cilantro restaurant. Everything was perfect from start to finish, the amount and quality of the food really was amazing. We would like to say a massive thank you to Nicole, you made our dream day reality. She really is an asset to the hotel and a pleasure to deal with. If anyone reading this review is considering getting married abroad Vilamoura and the Hilton Vilamoura is the place to do it! Collapse

Had a wonderful stay at this amazing hotel. The hotel is with a fresh look since the last time I was there. Rooms are quite spacious. Had a room with golf view which was quite relaxing. Had 2 dinners in Aquarela Restaurant which is definitely a must if you're staying at the hotel for the night. The staff is definitely what makes this hotel so great, always helpful and attentive with special thanks for the reception and restaurant teams. I'm definitely considering to return in the near future as I loved my stay. Collapse

This is our 2nd stay at the resort. This visit we opted for a 2 bed apartment as opposed to the hotel room last year for our 10 night stay. We have a young family (2 boys 6 and 2 yrs) and found the resort well suited to our needs. Nice reasonably short flight from Gatwick with a young family is a bonus! Our eldest loved the kids club and would've gone in every day had we let him! Staff at the resort all great and provide an excellent efficient service. The food and drink is good however, I would say the food particularly is overpriced and you will get better value for money at the Marina. This was the main reason we opted for an apartment this year. There is a Spar supermarket 10 min walk down the road which we used for our supplies. The shuttle service to the marina is good but can get busy especially the 19:00 and 19:30 services so would arrive early to ensure a seat on the bus. There is a lounger system in place where you can reserve your lounger as you go for breakfast and you have an hour to return and use it. If not you lose the lounger. However (and this is one of my pet hates!) this didn't stop people abusing it and reserving loungers for their whole family and only using 2 of them. One day I had to use a bar stool for myself and my son as our base as no available loungers. It's not an easy thing to manage but would like the rules to be enforced - rant over! Overall we had a great time and are planning on coming back next year. the kids loved it which is the main thing if they are happy then everything else falls into place. I may even get to play some golf next year! Collapse
