We visited this hotel while visiting Vienna. The hotel is lovely with an outdoor pool and a Jacuzzi upstairs. The room had two Queen beds for our family of four to share. It was very spacious and had a setee, tv and large table. The beds were very comfortable and there was also a safe and hairdryer which came in handy. I was disappointed that the room only had two sachets of coffee and two bottles of water, considering there were 4 of us staying for two nights. It is a little bit mean considering it's the Hilton, I would have expected more. The outside decking area is lovely to sit out on for a drink or meal overlooking the Danube with a nice view of the city. We had a meal and it was tasty but we thought totally overpriced for a meal for four of panni and chips and 4 drinks came to 92 euro! The staff were pleasant but we found it very difficult to get the waiters attention. The pool was very refreshing after seeing the sites all day in 36 degrees so great to cool off. We also enjoyed the Jacuzzi on the 7th floor that had a sauna as well. We visited it later in the evening at about 8 pm and were surprised it was totally unmanned especially since a group of children came in alone. The metro into Vienna is only a 10 minute walk and it is really easy to navigate the metro system which is also very quick and very clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vienna. Good location as long as you can commute

Good location as long as you can commute. Right on the water. Train station about a quarter mile walk. But from there it is easy to get to everything. The food in the hotel is not that great. The staff are very friendly and nice.

my overall experience was pathetic. I am a long timer Hilton honors member. I check into the room at night on 15th aug 2017. the room wash sink is not working . I call the reception and they told me to wait till morning for maintenance person to show up or they will check me to alternate room with lesser facility. there is no regret nor any apology or any courtesy shown . Why should Hilton have such a casual careless attitude . I wont recommend any one to stay in tis property Collapse

This is A Hilton After All! and Unlike in most hotels, including the luxe and high end ones Across Europe which have small Rooms, The Hilton Vienna Danube rooms are large! at 40 Square Meters for a Hilton Guest Single/Twin Queen Room with City and Danube Waterfront Rooms and a smaller 30 Square Meter Deluxe Waterfront Room. We Stayed at this hotel for two nights on a spring tour of Vienna. The Only Drawback of the Hilton Vienna Danube is that it is quite far from the City Center of which you need to either Hire a Taxi (Taxis are always avaiable at the front of the hotel) or ride the Metro Subway at the Line U2 at the Stadion Station (just beside the huge football stadium called Ernst-Happel Stadion), which is a 10 minute brisk (15 minute average) walk from the hotel (you . If you are on a group tour like us and Have a Tour Bus, then it is not a problem. The Hilton Vienna Waterfront also double as a Convention Hotel Too. A Hilton Guest Double Queen Room cost 180 Euros a Night including breakfast and Wifi at the lobby or 195 Euros A Night if with In Room Wifi. The Hotel is beside A Public Park and faces the Danube River and the nearby attractions include the Wiener Prater Carnival and the Ernst-Happen Stadion . The Hotel has 10 floors and over 367 rooms and suites and a Restaurant Called Waterfront Kitchen which is the default Breakfast Area plus All day Dining and the Pier 269 Bar and Lounge located just across it. like what i've said, the rooms are large here and not your typical European Hotel Room and the beds are soft and comfortable and the pillows are soft. usual toiletries (again except toothbrush andtoothpaste) are given and no complimentary bottled water as well (at par with almost all european hotels). Free Wifi in the Lobby but since we are on the second floor and near the lobby, we had wifi signal in the room. there is a fridge, an ironing board, an in room safe, a coffee maker, satellite tv with both free and pay per view channels, a comfy desk with chair and a sofa bed too. You can have a dip at their heated swimming pool too. Complimentary Austrian Breakfast Buffet is included. Collapse
