I have stayed here a number of times on business trips and the service is always cheerful and good. The food in the restaurant is a notch above "standard hotel fare". The rooms are up to Hilton's normal high standards. It can get a bit noisy in the lobby but there are plenty of places to sit in the bar area and work or hold informal meetings. Collapse

Friendly, pleasant, helpful staff. I was there with a large group of people for Christmas dinner. I was very disappointed with the soup, dinner and dessert. Brussel sprouts were rock hard. Long wait between courses.

I have stayed at this hotel on various occasions in the past two months and had mixed reviews . The hotel itself is a smaller old hotel that seems to be revamping . The rooms are older styled however the suite seems to of had some refurbishment . I stay with Hilton very regularly so on scales of Hilton I would associate this with a older hotel or country club needing love and care. Some of the staff are lovely whilst others tend to seem unenthusiastic and untrained . Information was provided inaccurately on various occasions to myself and my partner ,however a couple staff are extremely helpful and attentive .Great work The gym is really good for a hotel as it also is a separate run gym when not staying at the hotel ,therefore it has more facilities . There are also small group exercise classes . The carpet seems rather out dated and the furniture in the balconies is very old and rusted . The bath/shower is very typical standard basic Hilton . Quite hospital like bathtubs . The breakfast buffet is one area I really feel needs to be looked into with very limited options in comparison to its fellow Hilton hotels . Breakfasts for someone with dietary requirements or eating healthy is extremely limited and unappealing . However if you want a standard bacon eggs and black pudding breakfast you will be pleased . I feel this hotel has tremendous potential for various reasons but money and training needs to be invested to make it a luxurious hotel . The dining is very family friendly and id recommend this hotel to any golfers with families . The suite was lovely however unfortunately the power was out ,whilst these are all things that may be situational they all add to the customer experience ,especially if you are a customer paying full rate s . The hotel is really pretty and with more work it could be lovely . Whilst my review seems inconsistent ,this is how my stays here also felt . I believe with more work and training I could then confidently recommend others to stay here . Collapse
