I had booked a room through booking.com, to stay at St Anne's Manor on 17/03/2018. Unfortunately due to a bereavement in my family i was unable to travel from Manchester to Bracknell. I am absolutely disgusted that St Anne's Manor were not willing to cancel my reservation or offer to discount my cancellation fee. Instead they showed no sympathy or compassion for my loss and charged me £125.00. I had notified them on the morning of 16/03/2018, this was the date up to my free cancellation and yet St Annes Manor rejected my request for a free cancellation. I will be making a formal complaint against this and taking further action. Collapse

Refurbed & Superior rooms are better than standard but at the end of the day this is a tired Hilton. Signs of wear and tear in the age of beds, paintwork, and furniture and general lack of upkeep. Not what you’d expect from Hilton, sadly. Superior rooms lack dressing gowns and mini bars are empty and beds are hard and tired. Plus is staff are very nice and rates cheap off peak. Collapse

Stayed for a weekend when in visiting family--set on lovely grounds but visited in winter so didn't get to fully enjoy. Also seem to have a very nice indoor pool which we also did not visit. Staff makes this hotel great--they bend over backwards to accommodate you. Arrived at 2AM on our first night--the staff were happy to make us sandwiches at that hour. Breakfast was better than most--fresh ingredients and great selection. Friendly and accommodating servers. Beds comfortable, rooms dated but for the rate we cannot complain. We will definitely keep this on our go-to list for next time. Collapse

We were completely shocked having arrived for our afternoon tea, as included in the package to sit down and wait for over 45 minutes for the food to arrive. This merely consisted of finger sandwiches and scones. When asked at the desk of dietary requirements and my partner being vegetarian, we were presented with more ham sandwiches than any other. When we requested vegetarian sandwiches, we were then presented with tuna sandwiches. My partner left wholly unsatisfied with this along with the poor service we were presented with. Having waited 45 minutes for this quite frankly ridiculous service we were then unable to use the onsite facilities, as included in the package of, swimming pool/jacuzzi prior to our booked treatments. When our treatments were finished we then tried again to use the facilities to be told their is a waiting list and to put our names down. By the time they called to our room, it was time for our scheduled dinner slot. So not only were we able to use the facilities before, but afterwards too and missed out on this entirely. We received a text to let us know dinner is not what to be expected. Quite frankly the food on offer was appalling and not up to scratch. There was obviously a problem with the kitchen and so a buffet was on offer. Not only was there not enough food, the choice was non existent. My partner being a vegetarian was met with a bland and entirely carb based foods. The whole experience was deeply disappointing, the service and experience was not of a high standard, especially as this was a special occasion for me and my partner. Given this unsatisfactory experience, quite frankly we would like a full refund on this. I am keen to also share this experience on websites to ensure this does not happen again and improve your contact with customers. Not only was our stay atrocious but your lack of acknowledgment and contact is much to be desired. Collapse

Booked a last minute stay here early February and enjoyed it overall. I would recommend visiting and making use of the facilities. On arrival, we were greeted and checked-in promptly all no issues or concerns here. We were advised of breakfast and dinner times along with how the spa facilities worked. The room felt dated, there were a few marks in various places on the walls and also wallpaper that was coming up in one of the corners. Felt it could do with a freshen up. The communal areas were really nice and kept clean and tidy. The decor seemed fresh (maybe the lighting) but actually felt more suited to the all round environment of the hotel. The spa facilities were good, the gym was a nice size for the hotel and although can be used by residents who chose to join in the local area, the gym was not busy, however, the pool did appear so. Food was good, the dinner menu had a nice selection and the breakfast buffet was done very well. When booking, I would advise to check if there are any events on as on the Sunday of departure, there was a wedding fair which could mean it becomes fairly busy. A quiet weekend could become very noisy. Collapse
