The very first impression at this hotel is, no one is smiling. Staff at the front desk was not very friendly at the check in, and we had to wait ages to get answers to our questions regarding a day trip to St. Catherine's Monastery. However, after we came back to the front desk to get the answer directly rather than waiting for a callback in our room, the people who actually gave us help to find out about the tour were very nice even it was getting late at night. We had a very nice trip after all. I recommend a visit to the monastery. Besides the trip arrangement, the restaurant we had dinner was a huge mess, no one at the entrance to lead us to a clean table, we had to find one which was full of mess from the previous guests and had to find someone and asked to clean. However, the second night, we had to face the same thing, but one of the cleaning staffs was very nice, he was very friendly and took our drink orders and kept coming back to make sure we're doing good with drinks. The bar which was called Chill out bar was a bit bizarre, it's a bar which actually serves alcohol, but full of kids running around even after 10pm. Maybe it's ok in this country, but I was a bit surprised. The hotel has very nice beach and many swimming pools. Collapse

The Beach was awesome for snorkeling and diving, maybe the best. The food was very very good , the salads was the best i have ever tried in my life. hotel location is too close to shops, super markets and SOHO square area. No snacks served on pool, only on beach, so i had to walk a lot to get some snacks more staff shall be added for better service, pool bar served guests outside the pool , no staff assigned to serve guests inside the pool so u have to wait a lot to get a drink if you are in the pool. the DJ and sound system of the place is sucks animation team was the worst, very boring The lady who welcome guests at restaurant shall be a little bit smiley! overall it was very good vacation Collapse

I can’t understand all of the good reviews... clearly the room I had must have been one of the worst! This hotel is nowhere near a Hilton Standard - at least not one I have stayed at previously I've taken a few pictures but didn't get round to doing the rest. I stayed in the deluxe side in room 3111 Every time we had a shower our whole bathroom would flood so I ended up having to keep my pool towels with us instead of handing them back at the end of the day to make sure this would stop the bathroom from flooding! The tiles were cracked in our room which one of them by the side of the bed which I have taken pictures of which my partner had cut his foot on from getting out of bed! When we first arrived our electrics weren’t working! The plug sockets were down and we had to call to get this sorted which was the switch turned off! In the wardrobes there are lights at the top for when you open the doors - none of them worked! Not one!!!! The bed dipped in at the middle.. it was only the last day my other half looked under the bed to see the leg broken! Our room was swept twice in 6 days! There were also little kids knocking and running from our door at 8.20am whilst I had a do not disturb sign on my door! The aircon controls on the wall completely fell on and was hanging by 2 wires! The hotel itself has been refurbished to an ok standard if it wasn't a Hilton! At breakfast it was always a mission getting milk for tea/coffee as they would leave out a carton which you would use in a normal family home... but this was for the hotel guests.. Obviously it would be finished in 2 seconds! One of the waiters have even brought me the remaining milk in a massive cauldron used for porridge still with oats in it and asked me if i wanted to use this!!!!! Around the hotel bars there were so many times there would not be ice for hours! In 40degree heat that is not what you want to hear! Also the snacks between 11-12 which are the same everyday burgers and chips of tuna sandwich and chips could be altered, sorry this is supposed to be a Hilton.. How can they not afford to change the snacks from time to time! Hot dogs even! I thought this hotel had premium drinks.. Nope it’s the local stuff which tastes horrendous.. i asked for a Pina colada which was on the menu.. This was made with dark rum.. It was disgusting! I spent the rest of my time drinking orange juice and lemonade! There is a bus that goes from the main side to the deluxe side which comes around every 20mins which is a must as the walk from one end to the other is ridiculous in that heat! Especially if you are going all the way down to the sea! There should be more shuttle carts like the ones they use for luggage to be able to get people around the hotels. There is so much more to say... The pools were definitely not cleaned out properly as I went to the same swimming pool for 6 days and there was a piece of card at the bottom the whole time! The toilets on the main side near sunset bar are disgusting! Flooded with toilet roll everywhere and the last time I went in there, there was a bit of tissue with faeces on it on the floor!!!!!! By the pool which is the furthest one in the Deluxe side the drain around the outside of the pool was lifted for the first 3 days I was there, which caught my partners foot where he had been cut from the tile in the room! There were empty cups and crisp packs in the pools plenty of times! In photos of the hotel there shows a waterfalls – these were never switched on once and you can tell these have NOTE IF YOU WANT TO WALK FROM THE DELUXE SIDE TO THE BEACH IT WILL TAKE YOU AT LEAST 10-15 MINS! THE BEST BITS: The best food was in the Italian restaurant book there if you go – much better than the normal food and is still included in your all-inclusive package. The coffee from the poolside bars were really nice. Turkish night – the beef stew was actually one of the best things to eat the whole time The slides in the hotel are ok for a quick dip. The jetty on the beach was good – easy to go for a quick snorkel and even around the sea barriers to freely walk/swim around in you are able to see good fish – come right up to you. Bare in mind there is hardly any beach here and it is very stony – get proper water/swim shoes – flip flops are useless! Collapse
