We were there in November 2016 and have just come back from our second visit. Normally on a second visit to a Hotel, it is familiar but doesn't seem to hold the same magic that the first visit held however, at The Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Resort and Spa, our second visit was even better than the first. We booked a King Deluxe Room with a sea view and the view was breath taking, with a view over the gardens and the pools along with a view of the bay. Amazing. The choice of bars for evening entertainment was great, with something for everyone. The Restaurants were excellent along with the quality of food. The pools and grounds were well maintained. Everything was fabulous. The Hotel itself catered for our every need with all the amenities we could ask for. Once again, the staff excelled themselves in making our stay memorable, but special thanks will go to the following staff who went above and beyond any expectations to make our holiday, once again most enjoyable and memorable: Richard in Concierge, always ready to help and give advice on local amenities. Rahul, Restaurant Manager of the Maarid, whose main and only concern was to ensure his guests were satisfied with the food and the service and always gave a welcoming smile Aman in the Maarid Restaurant..Professional, friendly and ultra efficient. Vishnu in the Sunset Bar who went above and beyond to ensure guests were happy and looked after. His attention to detail and his service with a smile is unforgettable. Saranji the Lifeguard was amazing! as a non swimmer who loves the water I felt confident and safe under his watchful eye. Emran in housekeeping maintained our room to the highest standards and was only to happy to help if we needed assistance. Other members of staff who I would like to mention are: Moshey - Maarid Restaurant, Faruk - Maarid Restaurant, JK - Sunset Bar, Bikesh - Sunset Bar and Luchie - Dome Bar. We will certainly return for a third visit. Collapse

Returned earlier this week from a 10 night stay at this hotel, thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We have had many holidays in Dubai itself last time at new year just gone and have never been dissapointed but this time we wanted a more relaxing holiday and this hotel seemed to fit the bill. Having travelled extensively around the world many hotels have failed to reach the standards they claim and do not, in my view, deserve the star rating they claim particularly in Europe, I'm happy to say that this is not the case with the Hilton RAK Resort it is everything we expected and we were very satisfied with our stay at this establishment. The hotel is spotlessly clean throughout and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Don't normally do the all inclusive thing but we did this time, we had the premium all inclusive package which not only provided branded beers wines and spirits but access to the al a carte menus in the two other restaurants away from the buffet restaurant, the standard of food, particularly in the Italian restaurant was excellent, (don't know where else you can get lobster or prime fillet steak on an all inclusive holiday). Really pleased with the standard of service also. The quality of food and very varied choice of dishes in the buffet restaurant was also pleasing, rooms and housekeeping service could not be faulted. A really nice touch was that it happened to be my birthday during our stay and it was a very nice surprise to return to our room in the late afternoon to find it had been decorated with balloons and a beautiful birthday cake was waiting with a birthday message from the hotel staff. We just have two, not criticisms, but observations where improvements could be made and they both relate to the Sunset pool bar, as the name implies the terrace at this bar should be somewhere to relax and watch the sun go down but the noise at times from the swim up section of the bar was overbearing largely due to children being 'let off the leash' whilst their parents drank at the bar, in our opinion really should be made adults only after 4pm or so. The other observation is probably beyond the hotel's control and that is the fact that after 4pm a number of, I suspect' local men launch jet skis from the neighbouring public beach and deem it necessary to get as close as possible to the hotel beach to 'show off' the noise from these machines is very, very loud and annoying at times. So what could and should be a pleasant end to the day can at times be ruined because of the noise. This doesn't detract from our overall view of our stay at the Hilton RAK Resort, we really enjoyed the experience, keep up the good work and maintain the excellent standards, we will have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, thank you. To put it simply everything inside the hotel building is wonderful - service, ambiance, decor... the outside however leaves a lot to be desired, all the pools are warm even those apparently temperature controlled, the tiling around the pools is dangerously slippery when wet (or wet feet on dry tiles), service is non existent or slowest in history, towels are shabby and only one per person, not enough umbrellas for seats, not enough loungers for the number of guests by a long shot and apparently the hotel wasn't even full during our stay. So I probably won't return here as the poolside experience is important to me and it was not a nice experience here. Inside the hotel definately 5 star but the outdoor experience drags everything down to a 3 star. Collapse

This is our second holiday in this Hotel and it has spoilt us for going anywhere else. The Hotel is great with every amenity we could wish for, on the beach, several pools, several restaurants and bars along with other amenities. The fully inclusive package is excellent. The Staff are wonderful....but from our own personal experience, the following staff need commendation: At the forefront of the hotel in Concierge is Richard, an amazing person who is always ready to assist in every possible way and gives excellent advice when needed on local requirements. In Housekeeping, Emran who looked after our room, kept it immaculately clean and was very helpful with any requirements we had. Rahul the Maarid Restaurant Manager, was wonderful. His main and only concern was his guests well being and satisfaction. Aman our waitress in the Maarid Restaurant catered to our every need, was professional, friendly and attentive. Vishnu in the Sunset Bar was truly amazing, he is professional, attentive, and his only concern is to ensure his guests have a memorable and relaxing holiday. Saranji the Lifeguard was wonderful. As a non-swimmer who loves the water, I can honestly say, I always felt confident and relaxed in the pool or on the beach when under his watchful eye. I could go on, however, to name but a few, JK and Bikesh in the Sunset Bar, Luchie in the Dome Bar and Moshey in the Maarid Restaurant all helped to make our holiday memorable and through these people and this fabulous hotel, we will certainly be returning..
