Truly fantastic experience. To start with, the driver who picked us up from the airport was very professional and friendly. Check in done by Nikita was fantastic! We then came down to Bistro to have a meal, friendly and pleasant Team members looked after us. I don’t know how you do this but the chips we had were superb, would never say they are fried. The next day we went for breakfast to executive lounge, the food was delicious and plenty to choose from (scrambled eggs were the best I’ve eaten in any hotel!) However what caught our attention and made breakfast such a great experience was that one Team member- Ana! She is a star! Her warmth and friendliness and genuine smile is just fabulous for the start of the day. She remembered our selection of drinks and just got it ready without asking. Huge asset to the hotel! We actually missed her when one day she was doing late shift :) CzecHouse restaurant is brilliant. Food- stunning, my partner is a big fan of a steak and that’s what he ordered, he said it literally melts in the mouth! The duck I had was amazing! And another Team member who made it all magical experience was Karel. Such a pleasant experience to be served by this genuine and positive man. He gave us some recommendation as where to go in the city (Vysehrad), we actually went there next day and enjoyed the views and a stroll along the river. Cloud 9 Skybar is impressive! The entrance is very Hollywood style. The service- again, top of the league. Swimming pool and spa facilities- fantastic, the lady at the reception was very pleasant. Concierge- those guys think ahead of you. We only mentioned we would like to arrange car to take us back to the airport, and the driver was waiting for us when we got to reception to check out. Prague is a beautiful city and the Hilton Prague Team made our stay exceptional. Don't be put off by negative reviews here and stay there. Collapse

Despite the fact that this property has been designed as a convention hotel, the staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are a bit dated and could do with refurbishing. The bathrooms in particular are old fashioned. Older guests need to be careful about getting into and out of the bath, which can be quite slippery. We stayed in the hotel for four nights and were comfortable. Unfortunately, we were in Prague at the hottest time of the year and the air conditioning was unable to cope with the heat. We were however able to open the windows and get in sine cooler air. The Bistro has a good selection of cakes and pastries and is open 24 hours. The Cloud Bar, atop the building, offers great views of the city. Collapse

The YMs and I stayed at the Hilton in Prague for 5 nights last month (July 2017). This was our third or fourth stay at the hotel (IIRC). The stay last month and one in 2013 or 2014 were done individually whilst our previous stay(s) were as part of an Insight Tour. We found the hotel to be excellent in every way except that the in room refrigerator was stuffed with all manner of alcohol, soft drinks and confectionery etc. Each item was on a computerised pad which precludes one from removing it and placing items on the bench so as to gain the use of the refrigerator for one's own use. If you remove anything it will automatically go on your bill. There was a small shelf available for personal use but the space was minimal and insufficient for most use. We asked for permission to remove the refrigerator contents (but not consume anything) but this was not possible. The hotel will remove the contents for a cost ie you will be charged a fee for not consuming their products! This was particularly disappointing and annoying. We rented the room but not the entire refrigerator apparently. In every other way, breakfast, room, housekeeping and Concierge the hotel was excellent and we would stay there again but we did find the refrigerator issue and the hotel's arrangements surrounding it especially annoying. This hotel was very accommodating and went above and beyond what was expected. The breakfast was excellent and the choices were many. They even cooked in front of you if wanted. This was included in our hotel price.
