We stayed for 2 nights and the hotel itself was nice. We got upgraded to a suite which was nice, maybe due to our late check in? Hotel was clean, employees friendly, room spacious, and security was nice as you have to have a key to even use the elevator. Down sides were that the sheets and pillows for the pullout couch were not in the closet as they should have been, the pool is small and shared with the hotel next door, and breakfast is $15/person. Worst of all is the parking!!! If you aren’t lucky enough to get a spot on the street right in front of the hotel then you have to park down the street in a lot about a 5 minute walk away. Collapse

The hotel lobby is very nice and spacious. I didn't like the long stairs that gets you to the entrance though. The rooms are extra clean, the beds are comfo, and the linens are very ehite and crisp. I am an hhonor member so I got the nicest treatment of complimentary water bottles cookies, and all. I got vouchers for breakfast. The breakfast restaurant was big and spacious. They had very nice selection of eggs, fruits, bagels, cereal, and salmon too. The servers were polite, quick and helpfull. I enjoyed staying there and was close to where I wanted to go. Oh and I noticed from my uber ride that there was a Sax fifth Avenue store nearby. It was a walking distant from the hotel but I did not have time to go there ☺️. Collapse

Four stars and I’ll give you the pros and cons. Pros. The rooms are nice with plenty of space, lights, and outlets. Bathroom with lots of hot water and both shower/tub combo. Front staff were very helpful - we had a group of teenagers in one room making a racket (I was thinking, oh no...), I called the front desk to make them aware and they took care of it!!! Quiet and peace all night - thank you. Cons. The breakfast buffet is just ok. Somewhat limited selection. The server will ask if you want coffee or tea the disappear. If you want more, you have to wait forever or just chase someone down. We ate twice and it was easy to char them down. If you are a diamond member, this Hilton does not have an executive lounge. Parking is valet or self park. Both charge money ($12 versus $25). Valet service was excellent. Bell staff excellent and helpful - even loaned me their personal umbrella! Collapse

Due to business travel, I have now stayed at the three main City Ave hotel options (this Hilton, Homewood Suites and the Courtyard) and would rate this hotel as the best option among the three. Staff was pleasant and professional, and the rooms were large and comfortable. I appreciated being able to use the Digital Key options from their app (to include selecting my room before checking in), and was greeted in my room by some nice welcome snacks based on my Hilton Honors status. Yes, the valet parking was expensive, but I preferred that to walking to the distant lot as was the case at the Homewood Suites. I also appreciated having the free breakfast due to my Hilton status, unlike at the Marriott Courtyard, which offered no free breakfast despite my having Platinum status there. (Will say though, the dinner menu at the Hilton was quite expensive.) All in all, a pleasant experience, will likely choose to stay here on my next visit. Collapse
