I loved it here. I read the negative reviews and honestly thought I clicked on the wrong hotel in Trip Advisor. The parking g garage was nearby and clean. The front desk gave you a couple maps which were very helpful. Every single employee I ran into was very nice, welcoming, and seemed to enjoy working there. The restaurant in the hotel (Cafe Amalfi) was excellent. I didn't originally plan on going there more than once, but I did because it was that good. Having Starbucks right in the hotel was nice too. The pool is well maintained. The room was very comfortable. Maybe the bathroom could use some updating like other people mentioned, but it didn't bother me. I liked the location. Near the outlet mall, restaurants, etc. I took a walk on the boardwalk and saw the sister hotels at Kingston Plantation. I'll be staying here again. Collapse

I used my Hilton app to pre check in on Sunday and Arrived on Monday at 1:30pm and checked at the hotel to see if our 3br condo was ready. I was told it wasn't ready yet but shouldn't be too long. Went and bought groceries and came back at 3:45 and then said still wasn't ready but in process of being clean. Waited another half hour and finally unloaded into a very nice and spacious 3 bedroom condo in the Royal Palms building. We unpacked, and went for a swim. A couple hours later when we returned, the condo wasn't very cool so we had maintenance come. They couldn't fix the issue so they offered to move us to another condo. Since my sister in law is 7months preggers we opted to repack and move the 8 of us at 10pm. The hotel did make all efforts to make the situation right and we were pleased with that. After the move we have enjoyed every moment of the stay. The condo was very spacious and clean. The housekeeping lady was very friendly (rare to come across) and did a great job accommodating coming back when we were out of the room. The unit had a wall safe for security of your belongings. I have to compliment the elevators in the Palms building. They were very fast and efficient and We never had to wait very long even when it was the busy times. I was very impressed with all the staff I encountered and their friendliness and that I always saw people cleaning and straightening the pool decks. The Splash waterpark was a hit for the 4 kids. Staff there were friendly and very on top of their jobs. There are lots of pools to choose for on the property so we never felt crowded. The hotel provides towels (you have to check out providing room #). The beach area was easy to access from our building and not crowded which was nice. Our family has thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be staying here again. Collapse

Stayed for 4 nights.... The above mentioned front desk clerks went above and beyond their jobs to make sure we had a great stay...Kudos to Spencer, Nisha and Shannon for representing the Hilton Brand as it ought to be represented.... As for the sleezy timeshare salespeople that follow you around trying to sell you on prepaying for 50 years of vacation time, well they can go pound dirt... Hilton Grand Vacations definitely do NOT represent the Hilton Brand as they ought to....They lie and when you call them out on their lies they treat you like crap... They definitely misrepresent the brand.. the only thing that made me stay at the Hilton for extra nights were the wonderful actual staff from the actual Hilton. Our room was great.. Standard hotel room size with ocean and pool views... Not sure why everyone complaining about the size of the room..Pretty average and standard as far as I'm concerned...Maybe they should be renting suites rather than a room if they are looking for bigger rooms... As far as the location, I thought it was great. It's not located right in the middle of all the action so it was nice and quiet and appropriate for families. I had 3 tween girls with me and I felt safe enough for them to walk around a bit on their own. I don't think I would've let them if we were down by all the action and craziness. My advice is say yes to the Hilton Myrtle Beach resort and definitely SAY NO to Hilton Grand Vacations. Rip off. Sleezy salespeople. Amusing actually. I'm not sure who or why anyone would want to prepay for 20 years of Vacations and be stuck staying where other people want you to stay rather than staying where ever and whenever you want. I wonder if Mr. Hilton let's them use his brand name in the way they do... They say they bought Hilton because of their good name...They actually pretend they own the Hilton rather than the Hilton owning them. Losers will say anything to sell their POS product. Will I stay at Hilton Myrtle Beach again?? Yes but definitely avoid the 2nd guest desk where you are tricked into thinking that you're supposed to register with them also. Collapse

Had a good time around the many pools, easy to get from the beach to the room. All the staff was very helpful with information. Had a Great fitness center that is just up the road. Close to lots of shops and the mall.
