A really disappointing experience totally unexpected. I’m spending about 100 nights in hotels a year but I haven’t seen such low service and interest quality in a 5Star hotel - Hilton is supposed to be one of the leading brands. Upon arrival: checkin was OK, we arrived earlier but couldn’t have an early checkin without paying extra - not great but OK, that’s their policy. The room was freezing cold when we arrived after going out. I ordered a second blanket which came after 20min, not the fastest but OK. The room did not have slippers or bath robes so we had to go down to the pool in our swim wear wrapped into towels. I was tired of calling reception again for something that should have been in the room. Pool/Spa: so, we were off to start the day with a nice swim in the pool. The pool isn’t large but they’re have a counter current system that allows you to swim on the spot — at least for one person so we took turns. Now we really needed bathrobes but the spa reception wasn’t staffed. Fine. Calling reception - bathrobes are supposed to be in the wardrobes in the spa - not in the locker rooms, but I had to go behind the spa reception desk and search the drawers and cabinets for bathrobes. Really??? In a 5 Start Hilton Hotel?? Anyway there wer no bath robes to be found. Back in wet swim gear and towels. Very disappointing. Upon leaving we found out that Parking is 28E/night. OK we could have informed ourselves before, agree but hey 28 for 12 hours? Parking should be free of charge for hotel guests, like in most international luxury hotels - unless Hilton doesn’t call itself a luxury hotel. So paying the parking was difficult: ticket machine doesn’t accept credit cards, ATM in the hotel was broken and the reception was trying to deal with 30 people checking in at the same time. Anyway, suggestion: there is plenty of parking on the street. Back in the room that night: the room looked like it was made but stopped in the middle. The fresh towels were next to the TV and the bathroom amenities were all over the place like we left them. No cleanup. Again the room was freezing cold. Next day checkout: no “how was your stay” or “did you like it here”. Payment and done. Never again!!!! Collapse

Hilton Munich Park is a wonderful place to stay while visiting Munich. It added to the magical experience of being in Munich during the Christmas season, The staff was warm, friendly and very professional. The room was spacious, well appointed, clean and comfortable. And each room had a balcony. Location was good to get away from it all yet close enough to be in the city center within minutes. Our overall experience was great, we will definitely be back again... Hilton Munich Park is located a bit outside the center. but this is clearly indicated everywhere and doesnt influence my rating here. actually the location is nice and you will like it if going for a run or a walk in the huge park right in front of the door. no shops or restaurants close by. the building itself is old but they try to keep it up to date. lobby looks warm and welcoming. check in was quick and easy. the guy was nice. as a diamond upgraded to the exec floor with park view. nice room but the shower curtain and the shower in the bath tub is not state of the art anymore nowadays. but it happens in most hiltons and hard to change without major refurbishment. but the 30 something generation really expects something more modern. beds comfortable and due to its location no outside noice. which i appreciate and is really rare in bigger cities. breakfast in the lounge as not much time. i am aware of the limited choice in lounges, which is perfectly fine for me, but lounge was packed and it seemed like the two waiters - who really tried hard and were very friendly - were a bit lost due to multiple guest requests, cleaning tables, (theoretically) stocking up the buffet and checking in guest. so whoever makes to resource allocation for this, please please give them some more back up up there on the busy weekends - guests and waiters will appreciate it and service and guest satisfaction will increase significantly. check out took quite a while as there was a big queue. not the hotels fault. need to mention the trainee Julia here who apologized for the queue and worked hard to satisfy everyone on this busy sunday. this is what you expect from someone in hospitality and people like her set the bar very high for others. always a pleasure to see young and talented stuff members who are the future of the industry. would stay again for business at this hotel. for pleasure stays i would rather go to a more centrally located hotel. Stayed here to 2 nights while exploring German Christmas markets. Very nice hotel, as you’d expect based on price. Not central to Munich downtown, although bus line is right in front of hotel. We walked thru the English Garden to get Into the city (about 30-40 minutes). Hotel rooms are large and well equipped. Parking garage under hotel is convenient and safe (there is a cost, 38 euro per night). The breakfast buffet is extensive. The on-site restaurant for an evening meal is quite expensive. Collapse
Lots of dogs

Lots of dogs staying at the hotel. All will behaved. Don't have dedicated rooms for people staying with pets. Our room did not have any dog hairs and was very clean. If you are allergic to dogs, I would not stay here.
