We stayed here the night before a cruise departure. The hotel is on an island across a canal from the main Venice island. It is much less crowded and very peaceful as opposed to the touristy area of Venice. There is a free Hilton water taxi that will take you across the canal. You can walk along the waterfront which has plenty of restaurants and bars. There is a grocery store called the Coop a few blocks away, but note is closes at 7:45 pm. We received a Lifetime Diamond upgrade to a wonderful corner suite which included a living room, dining room and powder room. The executive lounge was nice but very narrow almost all tables on seated two. As we there was four in our party we went to the Skyline bar on the rooftop which was very nice and offered light snakes. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The complementary breakfast is the main dining room was outstanding with a wide variety to menu options. Front desk staff very helpful and nice. Would definitely stay again if returning to Venice. Loved the room. Stayed in King Executive with View. View room is worth the extra cost. Nice to look over the water at Venice. Room was well appointed with high ceilings and plenty of space. Water bus to St. Mark's was very convenient. Staff helpful in guiding with use of the transportation system. Although had use of the Executive lobby and food offerings, chose to eat at the Barcaromi all four nights of my stay as the food and service was excellent. However, there were several other nice options. Service was as would be expected at a Hilton Hotel and a large influence to making this hotel my choice. I look forward to staying here again and hopefully can enjoy the spa, gym, and other restaurants. Collapse

In a trip, I may splurge on one hotel and go very good to average with the rest. We had a family trip from Rome to Florence to Venice. This was our closing splurge and what a sweet way to close our trip. The Hilton Stucky was wonderful. I wasn't sure about the location because you have to shuttle (boat) into the city but figuring out the process was simple. The hotel will charge you a flat fee of 6 euro per person for the service. (+): Pros -After being European for a week, it was nice to settle into a large comfy room ("American" size). -The bed was dreamy. -The bathroom was decadent and they give you a real (salon quality) hair dryer to work with...meaning, there was actual power in the contraption. -Spa!!! <3 I know we were in Venice but after hiking for a week we stopped by the spa. I was so enamored, I went back to add services. The ladies were lovely and well trained. I recommend the massage and beauty treatments. (I was nervous because I have been to spas attached to nicer hotels and haven't always been impressed. This, thankfully, was good.) -Breakfast! Amazing, a large array and you can order eggs however you like. (This was not advertised.) -Sky bar: I can see how this could be a nice romantic retreat. -ATM on premise AND an automatic machine to purchase the boat ticket to the airport. (Very easy to figure out.) (-): Cons -Mosquitos: Maybe it's the water and can't be helped but I can't stand them. -Distance: The shuttle service is appreciated but it's necessary. Aside from the square, the airport boat bus is 1.4 hrs long but it's very easy to use and not as bad as it may sound. There were only a few cons. I've stayed in Venice closer to Tres Archi and enjoyed the quiet area. This is more touristy but it was a beautiful hotel with all of the modern day amenities. Collapse

Really enjoyed this hotel even though I'm a bit biased as a loyal Hilton customer. Our room had a fantastic room and was beautiful. I didn't mind the location since the shuttle service was very efficient. They do have a 39 person max per trip, so get there a few minutes early if you want to guarantee a spot. The only thing I feel like they could improve upon is offering (dont believe they did) a direct service from the Parking/Cruise terminal. I do believe they offered a direct service to the airport. We will definitely be back to Venice and will likely stay here again. Collapse

Our stay here was relaxing after an Adriatic cruise. A full breakfast was included as well as the convenient water taxi to Venice Island at frequent intervals. We were here here for 3 days. The staff and facilities were great. This has been a hotel for 10 years, previously an important flour mill, for making pasta. Being on Guidecca Island was probably quitier than being on Venice Island. This island also had some good places to eat, etc If you have to get to the airport, be sure to tell the front desk the night before. Collapse
