The lines to check in are always super long so plan on waiting. If you're a Diamond member like me and stay with Hilton over 200 nights a year, you don't even get breakfast. The best they can do is give you a coupon that discounts it $12. If you don't want to do that, and there isn't many options close, you have to eat on the 16th floor in their "Executive Lounge." Which has runny eggs, some bagels, and little random fruit. Hilton is going to this "lounge" for breakfast and making it sound classy/elegant, when they are really just trying to save money by not offering breakfast to the exact people that keep them in business. I think its a very poor way to run a business. I try to stat at Hiltons that don't have "Executive Lounges" for that exact reason! Collapse

We were stopping overnight going from The east coast to Hawaii. I live in hiltons for work so was very surprised at how noisy this hotel is. Next to airport so expected that but walks so this I can hear person in next room using an electric toothbrush! As well as outside cars, sirens, music and of course the planes. Lobby hotel and concierge lounge nice as well as employees but never again! They definitely need new windows and some wall insulation. Find another place. Glad I picked a different hotel for the way home. We shall see how embassy suites does. Collapse

Very nice airport hotel that runs with efficiency and great customer service! I have been staying here for over 25 years and always use the Hilton for my extended stay parking needs as well. Highly Recommend this property for Business Travel.

This hotel is fine for an overnight stay at LAX. Rooms are big and clean, bathroom tiny but functional. Free airport shuttle. However I arrived after a flight from London to be greeted by a huge check in queue with only one desk clerk! The small line next to me was for HH Hilton Honours members and there were 2 clerks checking them in fast and efficiently. 45 min wait for me to get a room. Not a happy traveller. There was no front desk manager to notice and rectify the situation. Collapse

Our first stay at the Hilton happened in December 2016 we had a few negative experiences but none match our recent stay that happened in February 2017. This is are the issues at this hotel. 1. Parking is not clearly labeled as to where you are. Hard to find vehicle. Spent 45min trying to find car and no one assisted 2. The first time we were there we tried to find a luggage cart in the parking area and were unable to find. We told the front desk which told us that there are phones best to elevators to call bell boy. No phones where visible when I looked. 3. The second visit around we parked and I called the bell service from cell to come down to help us who told us that they don't do that. Security guard came down and after arguing I got some one to help. 4. We initial places our reservation through the jolting app as we are members. Placed it for three nights and the app only reserves 2. We asked for an accessible room. We called to fix and they stated it was resolved. One week before our arrival I called to confirm and found out nothing was done. We only had 2 nights reserved. Spent an hour and a half fixing and was told everything was fixed. When we arrived we were told no accessible rooms were available. (I was not at check in, wife was). Once in room I called front desk 3 times (since I was hung up on by the transfer service) I finally got to a manager who spent 20 minutes reeling me that I got what I paid for and that's that. She didn't listen to how this was an error on hiltons side. She never apologized and never offered options. We needed this room type as my wife was visiting this area for a surgery to take place the next day. 5. The manager after talking to her for a while and her not apologizing and taking ownership for hiltons mistake became irate. I asked her if she felt she provided the Hilton experience and that's when she said that I was being rude to her and that she had witnesses listening to the call to verify that I was rude. ( which I was not). Then she proceeded to hang up the phone on me. This lady was completely making up things and did not represent any of Hilton values H- hospitality I - integrity L -leadership T- teamwork O- ownership N- now We never felt that hiltons vision statement was portrayed in both our stays "To fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality –by delivering exceptional experiences – every hotel, every guest, every time." 6. Hotel shows significant signs of use and wear and tear. 7. Our room was dirty 8. Only some elevator buttons work. 9. All room Ac vents have about a 1/4 inch thick dust coating 10. All employees tell you you can have get items from the bistro sent to your room with a 17% extra change. When I did it I had so much hassle for them to follow through. They told me some items where available and some are not. Items that are not, are available through room service for 3x the price but are not the exact thing. 11. I called to find out what time Brunch service was and I was told that Denny's is close by and would be cheaper. Times where 6am to 1pm. 12. Room service gratuity is Forced. 17% plus 9%tax 13. Wheat to the bar and got a drink. I asked for some of the nuts they where offering to guests the man never brought them of brought the rest of my order. 14. Spoke to the director about the mishaps. All he did is listen and tell me "is there any thing I can do for you?" Did not acknowledge and address the situation 15. On last day I woke up with a bunch of welts/bites on my legs/ butt which looks consistent with bed bug bites. We left at that point. 16. How I can describe this place : Inconsistent, rude, mediocre, non-service Collapse
