Facilities good, Breakfast good, evening meals not hot and delivery system poor mine did not arrive.Rooms very clean and warm. Drink prices are over expensive. Gym adequate with new equipment can get busy and changing rooms small.

A lovely Hotel in the middle of a junction (careful of your approach otherwise you will go around the roundabouts a couple of times)! A very friendly greeting from the staff and they could not do enough for you. The reception staff and serving staff at breakfast were all very friendly and pleasant. The room was clean and well laid out with a hair dryer hidden in the desk draw! Our room was quite a distance from reception, the bar and restaurant, so if your mobility is not great do ask for a room nearer to the main entrance. Overall a very pleasant stay and we found the gym, sauna, steam room and swimming pool well looked after. We did not use the Spa facilities, but found that the rates looked very competitive, so will definitely thin about having a massage the next time we visit. Keep up the good work. Collapse

Facilities such as swimming were good. Breakfast had a good spread, though they could do with 2 waffle machines...yes they're good. All round a good value for money hotel which ill certainly be using. Thankyou, Collapse

I have stayed here a number of times on business trips. Room was clean and tidy and is good for work with a proper desk and chair. Heating was an electric wall heater. The room was either to hot or cooled off rapidly. The bathroom is tired and wasn't clean. My main issue with this hotel is the quality of the food served, the wait to get the order and the eye watering prices for what amounts to basic fare. Like most hotels a glass of wine is more that you would pay for an entire bottle outside, so the feeling of being 'ripped off' is ever present. The bright spot is the breakfast which is excellent, but at around £16 it should be. Room rates are close to London prices. Collapse
Spoilt our trip!

It's a shame I have to write a review like this....... I will start with the positives and all will become clear! The hotel itself is nice, easy to get to off the motorway, nice staff, great reception/cafe/lounge area, nice pool and gym, great breakfast and good room (we booked a deluxe). Negatives: We arrived at 5:15pm to be told our room wasn't ready! It wasn't as though it was 1 or 2 pm it was after 5.... Obviously I complained and was told no rooms were ready. My son was to be a Mascot for Leicester city in the champions league and he needed to get changed and to the ground. This didn't seem so important to the staff and the fact I had picked my son up at lunchtime from school in Newcastle and driven down to Leicester made the matter more frustrating. After some going backwards and forwards, my son and wife getting upset, they allocated us a room ,not one we had booked, but I didn't care at this point as we needed to go. Reception booked us a cab and said you will get to the stadium in 10 mins from here. We quickly got my son changed and headed to reception. No taxi, we waited and then rang the company.... Eventually the taxi turned up and it took us 30 minutes to get to the stadium. By this point my son was in tears as he thought he was going to miss the opportunity of a lifetime, my wife was fuming and I was about to lose it! We got there late but the chaperones were great and understood our situation. After the game we returned to the hotel, had some food and headed to bed. In our 'deluxe' package we should have received a bottle of wine on arrival, fruit, soft drinks, snacks and bathrobes...... Someone knocked on our door at 11.30pm with the wine etc. then at 11.50pm with the robes!!!!!!! Thanks... I'm not about to drink a bottle of wine at this time and thanks for waking the family up! I complained the next morning and was told that Copenhagen, who were playing Leicester, had stayed the night before we arrived and had a deal that they could all check out late. We weren't informed of this and to be honest I don't care as I had booked a month in advance. Why did they agree to this? Anybody with even the smallest of brains would know this would cause chaos! Anyway the manager I dealt with gave us some money off our bill for the food and drinks we had at the bar and promised me 5000 extra HHonors points! I didn't want to pay ANYTHING but I was really sick at this point and didn't want to ruin what was meant to be an amazing night for my son. Almost 2 months later and several emails to HHonors and still no points. I usually book through IHG but thought it would be nice to try the Hilton for a change. Never again....... Collapse
