I chose to stay here instead of closer to the city (and train station) since I am a Hilton Honors member. I had just come from the Tanger Garden Inn in Morocco - newly opened - and had a perfect stay. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about this Seville Garden Inn, even though I really wanted to like the place. Basically I had one problem after another during my stay. But after the first problem was fixed, there grew another one. Luckily I left without any problems and all was well. I checked into my first room and unpacked everything. The room was VERY warm and stuffy inside and the cooling system did not seem to be working. (I overheard someone else two days later complaining of the room temperature, so I know it was not just me.) I knew I wouldn´t be able to sleep since they only have a blanket/sheet combo. When I told the front desk, they eventually found another larger room that was good and the ventilation was working. Yet I had to waste a big chunk of my evening waiting to see if the room cooled down, then packing my stuff back up and then unpacking again. They did offer to comp my dinner (after I asked) and mentioned that that was the least they could do for the inconvenience. By the way, the dining ambiance was not likeable at dinner that night: a huge screen projecting a soccer game whilst I was eating. Once I got into the new room and unpacked, I took a shower and soon found that the water didn´t drain well, so I was standing in about an inch of soapy water after my shower. They also forgot to put the tissue paper and small face towels in the bathroom. The problem was fixed quickly the next day after my complaint. The morning after that I needed to do laundry. First thing I noticed was the floor of the laundry room looked like it had not been cleaned in a couple weeks and had hairs all about. The clothes dryer LED screen was broken and so you could not program the temperature or time of the dryer. My clothes needed to be dried at low temperature but the dryer was cooking them. Luckily Chari, the housekeeping supervisor, solved the issue by offering to dry them in their hotel dryer. She took care to also fold and bring my clothes to my room after they were dried. Unfortunately, I lost one of my only athletic socks in the process. Two days later, luckily, my sock was returned to me in an envelope. So that last problem was fixed. The one downside of the hotel is the location - which is not near the city center. Yes, they do offer a shuttle to and from the city, but that has only space for eight people, so you can imagine that the spaces fill up quickly on weekends and during peak seasons. I found the times I wanted to go were always booked already the day before. That´s the key: get your request in the morning prior and also schedule your pick-up. The driver, a guy from London, is a good chap and can offer lots of information if you ask him. He was my favorite person of the hotel. Also, Cristian, who drives and does front desk, is a great guy and I give him props for being helpful as well. I understand the hotel was quite loaded with the marathon that was taking place in the city over the weekend. The staff did their best to help everyone and I am sure at times they were a bit inundated with trying to help as many people as they could, so I compliment their work. But in the end the cons definitely outweighed the pros for me during my particular stay, leaving me with a rather negative feeling. Given that, I would not return if I were to come back to Sevilla. Stayed here for 2 nights on business. It is about 10-15 minutes from Seville Airport, and easily accessible. Excellent service and help from all staff, speaking excellent English and very friendly and fast. The hotel is situated pretty much in the middle of nowhere, there are no shopping areas nearby, you can get taxi or a bus from outside the hotel into the main town (approx 30minutes). The local area is like a new industrial estate, there is a lot of housing around, but 2 minutes up the road is a Lidl, Costco and 24hour McDonalds, all appear very new. The hotel itself also appears very new and modern. The rooms are built with a very art deco feel, modern curves and designs. Spacious enough for 1, maybe crowded for 2. Other rooms are available. Free wifi, fridge, iron, safe, big modern bathroom. TV was modern and mainly obviously Spanish, I didn't want to watch tv, which was fortunate because for some very very bizarre reason, the set top box for all the satellite channels is attached behind the TV (??!!) and therefore the remote control does not work, you couldn't change channels anywhere in the room, without standing by the TV and pointing the remote control to the box attached behind it. I mentioned this on checkout, in passing, and it appears to be something the staff are very familiar with, clearly having been mentioned by others, they asked me to highlight it. It is a real shame as this spoilt a very good room. There is a good gym in the basement, well stocked with equipment, towels, water, headphones, tv again had no remote, so I was limited to some sort of Spanish wildlife documentary - I couldn't understand it but ironically the footage was actually quite interesting and had my attention!! There is a nice swimming pool and lounge area outside, wrong time of year but certainly looks welcoming. There is a very nice little bar and restaurant area, hotel appeared quiet and both bar and restaurant were very empty, I had dinner at bar area twice and food was very good. Bar prices are hotel bar prices, don't expect your Supermarket price. There is also a small shop in the reception area for any essentials you may need or snacks. This is operated by reception staff so is open 24 hours. Parking is free and plentiful and there is a garage next door to the hotel. Ensure you book for breakfast, really really nice, loads of choice, continental or full English, buffet style, plus a chef on hand for other bits. Juices, cakes, coffee, really very impressed indeed. And again very quiet. All in all a very nice hotel, very nice staff, suited for all types, business or otherwise, as you can easily access most areas either via public transport, taxi or hire car and there is plenty of places to park with nice in-house facilities. Don't expect to do anything locally though. Recommended definitely. Collapse

Me and my wife really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms were a decent size and very clean! The staff are really friendly and for anyone driving there is a secure underground car park. Situated just 10 minutes from the airport. The hotel is not central but there is a shuttle service run by the hotel. Alternatively, you can take a cab which is around €11-12 or take the 3 bus (the stop is around the corner, staff can give directions). Bus is cheaper at around €2 per person but takes around 40 minutes. Collapse

Great service from ALL staff including the driver for the shuttle bus. Staff are very attentive but not in your face. The hotel is out of town but 10 mins away from the airport. There is a petrol station next door but didn't see any other shops in walking distance. Shuttle bus (free of charge) runs to town Puerto Nuevo every hour and last bus back is around 7:30. We missed our bus back one evening because there was a different driver that picked up 50 yards earlier but we stayed on till later and caught a cab for 10 euros. A pantry downstairs including a microwave. Good breakfast options. The cement factory didn't bother us. Didn't use the pool as we went in Feb. Underground parking available at six euros per day. We stayed 3 nights for our anniversary weekend, and we were so happy with Everything about this hotel. All the employees were polite and helpful. The shuttle service was a big perk of staying here. Christian the driver was super nice and even let us get on the shuttle early when our 4 year old was tired. Later that evening to our surprise we were sent a bottle of Champagne for our anniversary. Having worked at The JW Marriott, the service at this hotel is on par with some high end resorts. We will definitely be back. Collapse
