This is possibly the most perfect hotel i've ever stayed at, with a caveat, or maybe 2. My flight, due to the heavy fog at the airport, arrived at Katowice airport instead of Krakow, so I arrived at this hotel at 2:15am, very tired and weary. I was carrying 2 heavy pieces of luggage. While entering the hotel, upon the receptionist seeing me struggling to drag my snowboard bag through the rotating door, immediately rushed over to help me. Check in was swift and professional and I was in my room practically in no time at all. As is usually the case after a long flight or transfer, it takes quite a while to unwind before heading to sleep, so I showered and made myself comfortable. The room had 2 options besides the bed for relaxing. A Herman Miller Aeron chair by the desk space and another extended lounge chair. Both were exceptionally comfortable for working or relaxing on. Everything looked and felt luxurious and worked as it should. The room was completely silent too. However, my bed was hard. I don't know if it was an orthopedic mattress or some other specialist bed mattress, but it felt to me about as comfortable as lying on a carpeted floor, so too hard for me to sleep on. I did eventually manage to sleep by rolling the duvet around myself and that gave me enough comfort to drift off to sleep, but I think if they are going to use hard bed mattresses, then they should at least offer a choice of rooms with sprung mattresses too. I was too tired to get up for breakfast in the morning, so can't comment on that extra (which I hadn't paid for anyway due the lateness of my arrival), but check-out was also smooth and professional. Bag storage wasn't an issue either and the available receptionist upon retrieving my bags, refused to take a tip. Prior to that I should add, I locked myself out of my room while getting my bags out and the cleaner who was doing her rounds spotted what happened and rushed over immediately to let me in. Excellent! There are 4 star hotels and there are 4 star hotels. This is better than the other 4 star hotels i've stayed and possibly even better than the one, or maybe two 5 star hotels i've stayed at. I returned here a week later upon arrival at the airport to see if my usb adapter and phone charger lead had been handed in and I had no issues whatsoever recovering them. I was a little concerned they might not have been there as it was impossible to contact the hotel by phone, or at least that was the case the 3 times I attempted to call, but I needn't have worried in the end. I sat in the bar afterwards and was able to watch the screens showing arrivals and departures, so there's no need at all to wait inside the airport. All in all a near perfect stay and i'd love to stay here again when i'm next in Krakow. Every member of staff who I dealt with was excellent and attentive at their jobs. Collapse

We booked this hotel over 2 years ago but had to cancel due to sudden illness - thinking we would lose our money they allowed us to cancel with refund so booking a trip to krakow we felt we had to go here even though a lot of old town hotels were a draw. But for price and facilities this was best choice and we are so glad we stayed here, it's not far from town and is in fact a nice walk to old town or to Jewish quarter or through ghetto to Schindlers factory - in fact apart from 2 late evenings when it was getting cold we walked everywhere and those 2 nights it was £4 in a taxi back from old town Hotel had good facilities, decent size rooms and a decent bar, best of all though were the staff - all really friendly especially the bar staff breakfast is really nice, a good choice of hot and cold food and eggs or omelettes cooked to order we had dinner one night and food was excellent and good value so if you are looking at this hotel do not hesitate to book it you won't be disappointed Collapse

We stayed for 3 nights at the Hilton Garden Inn and we couldn't have been more pleased with all aspects of the hotel. Our room was excellent with a very comfortable bed as well as clean and lovely bathroom with a great walk in shower. It was noticeable how quiet the room was....great sound proofing resulting in 3 excellent nights sleep with no disturbances. Breakfasts were great quality and the service was of a similar standard. All the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Collapse
