Beautiful hotel but the elevators were disfunctional. One was before mg renovated but the remaining main elevator was running alone. The 3rd service elevator was nit synched tothe first elevator so they didn't work together. Result? Loooong waits, then the elevator stopped at every floor (no riders, just stopping because it didn't know the other elevator had picked up the current wait-ees. Makes for a very looooong ride down from the 8th floor Collapse

We had an awful stay at this hotel- I can safely say with CONFIDENCE that I would NEVER stay at this hotel again. After a long flight and drive through some really hard rain to get to this hotel at night we arrive to the self parking area that is a whopping ($27/ night, $31 for valet). We decided to self park and could not find an open door to get into the building after we parked. My husband and I and our luggage were completely soaked! We had to drag our luggage down 3 floors and through a garage and around a corner (outside) to get to the front door of this hotel. After we lugged our wet selves in there we were given a key to our room, we needed a bellhop because it was the most confusing maze to get to our room which included walking outside again. Yes you have to walk outside to get to the other part of the building where the rooms were. Not an elevator in the same building of the front desk like normal places. After we walked up and around the corner and down long hallways, then an elevator to another long hallway we finally get to our room. My husband opens the door and slides the pocket door for the bathroom open and there is a huge ROACH in the bathroom. I screamed and ran out of the room. I called the front desk from my cell phone as we all waited in the hallway. The phone just kept ringing and ringing. The bellhop told us "its best we go back up to the front because you will never get an answer- they don't answer the phones." I told my husband I no longer wanted to stay here, but since it was so late and we had such a long travel and was waking up in a few hours to leave it didn't make sense to try to find somewhere else so late. We went to the front and the desk clerk offered us a double room. Yes with a straight face is now offering us a room type that was a step down from our original reservation. We were bothered to say the least. I said to the clerk absolutely not, we would like a king room with no roaches in it please! He "magically" found another king room and we were off to the long trek back to the rooms side of the hotel. We barely slept- uncomfortable beds, badly used, damaged and peeling furniture. No microwave available to heat up our now cold food. We were up earlier than our alarm clocks just to get out of there. We left that place at 5am! It was a terrible night and stay to say the least. I will never- I repeat never stay there again. I am a Hilton Honors member and I must say that this hotel has definitely changed my thoughts on booking Hilton hotels moving further. Collapse

Okay! So I arrived early and my room wasn't ready just yet. Such was understandable and the wait was worth it because of the view I had. So reason number 1 as to why I gave 5 stars... Chris (I'm not certain if he was a bellman or concierge- or even if there's a difference). Anywho, Chris' infectious smile, personable personality and overall genuine concern and desire to make my stay the most pleasant is truly what resonated most for the duration of my trip. I sincerely hope Chris is being groomed for succession planning, as he is an immense asset to this property! Another gem is Rodrigo, the outdoor bartender! He has the most precious accent that makes you feel right at home! Mr. Rodrigo was ALWAYS extra attentive and is the epitome of hospitality- he always checked on me with a genuine interest! I hope Mr. Rodrigo is also on the fast track towards management! Last, but never least is Anthony, the Food and Beverage Director! I had the pleasure of meeting him when I spoke to him about the exemplary service I received from Mr. Rodrigo. Anthony was also VERY approachable and easy to talk to. I felt like I knew him for years! The pool is really pretty and the area is well landscaped. The lobby area is full of excitement and the relaxing area has a beautiful view of outdoors. I stayed in room 1418. The view was beautiful and it was a quiet surrounding; very peaceful. I enjoyed my stay so much, that I will be back next month and I am BEYOND excited to see Chris, Mr. Rodrigo and Anthony!!!! Collapse
