I had a good experience with this Hilton hotel. Check in was fast and efficient plus I have been upgrade and this was a good surprise. My room was large and the two big closet were really the big plus. I got the 9th floor and loved it.My bedroom view was half over the Creek half facing another building resulting in lack of privacy like I couldnt let the drape open on evening and night. Overall nothing to complain about the bedroom except this privacy issue. The rooftop swimming pool has definitely an amazing view. This is a serious plus. Finally price are overall affordable for Dubai and it's an amazing value. For my next stay to Dubai I would probably booked this hotel again. Collapse

I stayed at the hotel before and I was expecting the same brilliant service but I was surprised that they have even managed to improve on their service. I made a mistake on my booking and they corrected it without fuss. The view of the creek and the city is spectacular. I had to travel to Doha and Muscat and everything went flawlessly. The hotel is 15 minutes from the airport. The hotel is also near all attractions, souk and malls. They have courteous and helpful staff. The taxi service operated by the hotel is brilliant. The drivers are polite and speak good English. The hotel also operate a bus service that is complimentary for certain bookings. The food is first class. There is a gym and rooftop pool. Collapse

Arrived at 5am after the long flight from Australia and mutually agreed an upgrade to an executive room for instant access, but also this included breakfast and evening buffet & beer in the exec lounge, which was nice. The hotel is smaller than it seems, which is a good thing - my room had views along the creek and out to the sea. Exec rooms are large and comfortable and have a great marbled bathroom. One side of the building is right next to the mosque, so be prepared for an early call to prayer, which could wake a light sleeper. It's a 15 minute walk to Union station metro station, where you can access both metro lines, although in my experience the metro is so busy that it isn't a particularly pleasant experience. Another 15 mins to Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa. Smallish, pleasant pool area on the roof with fantastic views. Staff were generally very friendly. It's an easy 10 mins taxi ride to/from airport. All in all, a good stay. Collapse

This will be a rather lengthy/detailed review of Hilton Dubai Creek. We arrived in the middle of the night (2.30AM local time) with free transfer provided by the hotel, it was really smooth. Room When checking in we were given information about everything we needed to know and were assigned to room 1307 (the hotel has 14 floors + 1 floor on top with swimming pool). I did notice that the deposit they wanted to block was rather high, AED 2,000 (roughly USD500). Unfortunately there had been some mishap in the communication between Expedia and Hilton reservations, the room was not what we had booked! Even though the room was very large (about 124 square meters) it wasn't what we had booked, balcony was missing. We pointed this out straight away and were promised that they would try to arrange this the next day. One more thing that was missing was an extra roll-away bed and bed sofa. This had been promised by Concierge services prior to arrival, but seemed to have been forgotten. However, this was solved rather quickly by them setting up 2 roll-away beds. The next day we were told that they tried to arrange the room we requested, but it wasn't ready yet. When coming back in the afternoon we were offered to see it and then we just needed to pack our bags and everything was moved to the new room, 1405, including our 2 roll-away beds. 1405 is a fantastic room, slightly smaller than 1307, with a huge balcony overlooking the city, creek and even ocean view. In the room there is a nespresso machine with capsules, very nice. Minibar is well stocked, but slightly over priced (small bottle of wine AED 70 (about USD 20). There was a very big bathroom with separate jacuzzi and walk in shower. In both rooms we tried it was extremely difficult to set the right temperature in the shower. The room also has a separate, second, toilet. Pool The pool is located on floor 14 + 1. It is rather small but the views here, just like from our balcony, are amazing. Staff in pool bar is very friendly, always happy. It's a great place to sit in the evening, having some nice drinks. For Dubai prices are OK. Executive Lounge With our room we were offered access to the executive lounge where (simple) breakfast (including hot options), mid day tea/snack and "Happy Hour" with wine and "snacks" was offered. We ate there every day and the snacks provided during Happy Hour was rather a smaller buffet, always with 3 hot options. Actually the amount of food and options provided filled the family to the extent that there was really no interest to go and have a "real dinner" later in the evening. Up on check-out there was a small mishap when trying to unblock the deposit, however the receptionist Shiri(?) did everything in her power to try to compensate for the same. In the end we agreed to an arrangement where we could stay until 04.30AM in our room (the next morning). This was really valuable to us as our flight had been cancelled and this meant that we did not need to move, even just for some hours, to the hotel provided by Turkish Airlines. Summary This a great 5 star property, one should remember that rating is set by local standards. It does need some renovation, but nothing that bothered us. The location is great, by Dubai Creek which gives you an "open air sense", not squeezed in between big roads like many hotels down town. One can walk around looking at the ships by the creek and there are plenty of small shops and restaurants in the area. City can be reached within 10 minutes by taxi (which is really cheap in Dubai). Some things need to be improved: E.g. Many times different foods was finished in breakfast or happy hour buffet, lamps (almost all of them) broken on the balcony. But when pointed out to the staff it was corrected very fast. Maybe it's they way things work in Dubai, but not really the issues we would expect in a 5 star property. What makes this hotel great is the staff, always happy to help and getting things done! We would like to extend an extra gratitude to: Janine and Shiri(?) in the reception, all of the concierge staff and house keeping, they were all really fantastic. When we go back to Dubai we will for sure stay here again, highly recommended! Collapse

The only reason I wanted to stay at this hotel was to collect the points, this hotel is not close to the downtown area. It's approximately 25-40mins drive depending on traffic or 50-60 durum each way. The staff here was super nice and very accommodating. Depending on your room you could either have a nice river view ( like my colleague) or a room overlooking the high rise apartments where ppl hang their clothes out on their balconies to air dry..... arrrr! The breakfast buffet was good especially the fresh oj. This hotel is close to the gold suk area, look up that area for more info. Collapse
