Staff is exceptionally friendly-food was great at dinner and breakfast. The concierge and bell hops were helpful, and had great suggestions for other places to visit in the area. The King Bed was perfect and the hotel was very quiet.

My wife and I stayed at the Hilton Cabana for five days. We could not have asked for a better time. The hotel was very clean, the pools and the beach were amazing. But by far, the best part was the staff. The staff remembered us each day and welcomed us back. Chef Shane displayed his expertise in preparing some of the best food we have ever had. Chef Shane catered around my food allergies to ensure that I was safe from cross contamination and that I enjoyed my meals. He was extremely accommodating and super kind. Chef Shane by far shined as the glimmering star of the hotel. We are so grateful to have met him. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other and I will for sure be back again. Collapse

So I came here for a girls weekend, like many of us do.. the rooms were great, had a pool view and spent a lot of time at beach and clubs. The pool could use some updating, although there is two, they seem a little lackluster and the restaurant is subpar, and overpriced. What made this trip for me was the attractive and attentive bellman. I believe Christian and his duo Cody helped me and my girls the most. One night we had a little too much to drink and they were more then helpful not a bit judgmental, and everytime we asked for a place to eat or go out they were spot on!! and they're looks were just an added bonus ;) Collapse
Nice little hotel, but a bit off the beaten path.

My husband and I stayed at the Hilton Cabana Miami Beach from Saturday 10/15 - through Tuesday 10/18. We are Hilton Gold members and we traveled with another couple who were Hilton Diamond members, so upon check in we were well treated. Hamid, at the front desk was very personable and went out of his way to get us rooms with balconies and ocean views that were near each other (but not too near!) The rooms were really well done, with a retro/beach vibe. The wooden headboards were driftwood colored, the floors were driftwood wood-look tile and the bathrooms were clean, stark white tile with a slash of bright red vertical tile that looked like a racing stripe on a surfboard. Stainless steel, round, lighted mirrors accented the bathroom. All of these details resulted in a bright modern/retro beach vibe! The mattresses were extremely comfortable and the bedding was high-quality crisp white 100% cotton - no suffocating polyester to be found anywhere! The pillows were on the hard side but since they were also somewhat yielding, I assume they were a feather/down blend. I was very happy with our room. As gold/diamond members, our breakfast was included in our room rate ($158 per night - total bargain!), and it was actually not bad at all! It's not advertised but if you ask, the servers will bring you any kind of egg or omelet you wish, as well as pancakes or waffles. The ubiquitous bacon/sausage/scrambled eggs/ potatoes were already available on the standing breakfast buffet that was included. The oceanside bar (I think it was called Salinity) was pleasant, but pricey. Coors Lights were $10/per!! CRAZY! But Nicole the bartender was very sweet and mixed a delicious Margarita that wasn't too sweet, just the way I like it. We spent our first night drinking at the bar from about 7 PM until about 10:00 and our bar bill totaled well over $400.00. To be fair, the four of us (plus a random Englishman we met) did drink a fair amount, but $400+ was quite exorbitant. Another thing to note about the hotel is that it's not in South Beach. It's about a 10 minute Uber ride North of South Beach. And there is truly nothing within walking distance of this hotel that's worth going to. In fact, walking just 2 or 3 blocks more north and you find yourself in a very sketchy section of Miami Beach. However the beach is fine for walking - it's really walking on the streets I would caution against. Or keep walking south and you're fine. I do want to stress that South Beach is NOT within walking distance. Overall, I can think of 20 other cities I would rather go back to than Miami. It holds absolutely no charm for me, but I am not a high party-er or club go-fer. Maybe for someone much younger it would have more appeal. But if you find yourself having to stay in Miami, this hotel was really quite nice, especially for the incredible price. Collapse
