If you aren't going to use the train service, you may shan't to stay closer in to the city centre, it is about a 10 min walk from City Hall from the hotel. Tip: Try and get a room overlooking the river - the views are great. Collapse

The hotel seems to cater for large coach parties which can place a high demand on the lifts etc Whilst the rooms are fine, offering all the necessities you require, some of the communal areas are a little 'tired' and in need of refurbishment. Location is perfect, walking distance to everywhere. Rooms have everything you need and beds are comfy. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were great and would highly recommend a French martini from the bar

My husband, two 18-yr old young ladies, and I stayed three nights at the Hilton Belfast at the end of June. The girls' room had two twin beds (Rm 307) and my husband and I had a room with a King bed. Both rooms had nice views of the Lagan river. They were nice rooms and fairly spacious. The bathroom was nice and included shower cap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash; however, the water pressure in the shower wasn't very good. It took me awhile to rinse the shampoo and crème rinse out of my long hair. Since you're in the heart of Belfast, you will pay for parking. Since we used Hilton Points for the rooms, paying for parking and breakfast wasn't a big deal for us. It's 18£/night (~$23.65) for parking and 13.95£/person (~$18.82) if you pre-pay for breakfast when you first arrive, otherwise breakfast will cost you 16.95£/person (~$22.87). The breakfast was pretty nice. You can request omelets, sautéed mushrooms, poached eggs, just about everything else you'd want is part of the buffet like yogurts, pastries, cold cereals, fruits, scrambled eggs, English bacon, and hash browns. They even had raisins for the porridge/oatmeal, which I prefer and was not common in Ireland. Perhaps the best thing about this hotel is the location! We had an easy 15-min walk to the Cathedral Quarter and a 30-min easy walk to the Queen's Quarter with the Ulster Museum, Palm House/Botanical Garden, and Queen's University. We did drive to the Titanic Belfast Experience because it's about two miles away and we also wanted to visit the Belfast Castle Estate. There was ample parking at the Titanic Belfast Experience. There was one thing that really bothered me. They did not provide complimentary water for Hilton Silver members unless you specifically asked for it. Other Hiltons, including Hilton Dublin Kilmainham, leave us complimentary waters in the room when they service it. I didn't know you had to ask for it. So, we purchased water for our room while there. Just be aware of this, so you can ask and avoid purchasing unnecessary water for your room. Overall, nice rooms with a nice view and a great location!
