We spent several days in Athens on a combined business/pleasure trip and the Hilton did not disappoint! Our room was upgraded to a 10th floor Acropolis view, lovely at night! The Executive Lounge access was terrific, especially with the Concierge, who helped arrange a great day cruise for us. We found all the staff to be friendly and courteous. Of the restaurants we tried, all the food was delicious, to include room service. The pool was refreshing during midday heat. We walked to nearby museums, walked along the different embassies, even walked to the shopping/dining areas and to the Acropolis. It was gentle, downhill walking, and we returned via taxis. The subway was easy back to the airport. Collapse

We stayed here for three nights in August at the end of the three week trip around the Peloponnese and islands. During the trip, our child had suffered a significant burn injury and we were stressed and worried by the time we arrived in Athens. The perfect service, comfortable rooms and the ability to use the executive lounge when he was tired and uncomfortable was brilliant. The staff arranged a late check out for us so we could change his dressings and allowed us to stay in the lounge until we needed to leave for the airport. We can't fault the service at all. The hotel is beautiful and the pool area the best in Athens. We've been here four times before, but have never been so grateful for the comfort we had here. From questions to the concierge to the helpfulness of breakfast staff, it was a really great end to our holiday. Because of his injury we took a taxi into town, and it was only 5 euros each way, but the metro is just a five minute walk away in any case. The hotel might be situated outside of the centre, but it's very accessible for both town and the airport. Collapse

We stayed at Hilton Athens for three nights, reached the hotel by paying the yellow taxi standard 38 Euros from the Airport. The same rate is for return as well. Being a diamond member we had to check in at the 11th floor. George at the 11th floor was very sweet, he helped us with reassigning our room so we could have easy access to our daughters in the next room. We had a good view of the Acropolis from our window and the traffic noise was not too bad. The overall look and feel of the hotel is amazing and very well maintained. The breakfast that was included in our stay is a huge collection items from freshly made omelettes to healthy yogurts. The staff at the breakfast area was super nice and very friendly. The executive floor on 11th has very good spread for the happy hour. Overall we had a great time in Athens, Thank You Hilton. Collapse

When ever I visit a hotel, I immediately look for two things; #1 Happy Staff for first impressions, and #2 Cleanliness. I was not disappointed with either on this visit! I was greeted by an absolutely adorable desk staffer named Marialena. She immediately verified my status as a Diamond member and then she proceeded to inform me of my tiered membership benefits. She has an incredible smile and she was very happy to be working at this Hilton. I have always said that if you have a happy staff, it is because the managers are doing a wonderful job of keeping their employees motivated (well done management)! Marialena is an outstanding ambassador and definitely a "Face of Hilton"! She is a wealth of information on the local area as well, so if you need anything, just be sure to ask. Overall, I had an absolutely incredible first impression because of her interaction and motivated customer service expertise skills. The next thing I noticed was how spacious the lobby area is and how clean it was. The place is immaculate and not once did I see a single housekeeping staff anywhere! After checking in, I located the elevators. The elevators require your room key to operate (nice security feature). Once I got to my floor, the room was outstanding! The mini bar is well stocked and there are plenty of amenities in the bathroom as well (i.e. robes, slippers, soap, shampoo, conditioners, etc). The shower is separate from the bathtub and it has a hand held head as well as a head in the ceiling! The bathroom is huge! The floor is hardwood, but there is a carpet next to the bed. The air conditioner is spot on as far as temperature control goes. I set it once and never touched it again. There is a nice balcony area for sitting outside and it is behind a very heavy blackout curtain in case you want to take a nap in the daytime. The balcony offers a rich view of the city from many angles, and there are not any other tall buildings blocking the view! The TV works very well and it has many stations in many different languages. There is plenty of desk area to utilize and lots of electrical outlets throughout the room. The hotel grounds are also immaculate and well groomed. There are several shops at the hotel for purchases of things like jewelry and snacks. The pool is humongous and there is even a lifeguard on duty. The Executive Lounge is also exquisite. There is an outdoor sitting area that offers an incredible view and sunset photo opportunities. Everyone was very friendly throughout my stay, which makes it an easy decision to return the first chance I get! Overall, this is THE BEST HILTON experience that I have ever had. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel for it's luxurious environment and friendly staff. Be sure to stop at the desk and say hello to Marialena and the rest of the staff. They will make your visit and experience the BEST EVER! Collapse
