Really friendly and well run hotel - all staff could not have been more helpful - grounds and facilities really good - pools and beach area so nice. Dining experiences excellent with lots of choice at breakfast - room very clean and traditional villa type with view of sea - spacious and with traditional furniture - lots of storage. The smell of the frangipan flowers memorable! Collapse

We really enjoyed our 4 days chilling by the pool and enjoying some very nice Mojito's in the afternoon. All inclusive was good value, however 4 days in the main restaurant was more than enough, however the drinks were great. 0.5l Cans of Becks were very enjoyable. Staff we could not fault, our room was very nice indeed and part of the main building looking onto the lagoon and sea. We had no issues with noise and would recommend the hotel. Sea was warm and great for a swim. The drive was around 50 minutes from the airport, and the resort was quiet, which was great for us. Collapse

Regardless of how much building work is going on the place is well past it's best. Rooms are musty, not maintained and dingy. My room had several maintenance issues, had grafitti scribbled in biro all over a seating area ( clearly the room had not been checked). The facilities are in desperate need of upgrading. Room staff and restaurant staff are friendly but lack training and simply don't know how to deal with requests or deliver good service. Front office staff are inefficient! Being on business a request for an early breakfast resulted in 1 banana, a dry croissant and a can of Fanta in a bag. The noise issue is a real problem. 3 am the Night Club closes and the noise from those exiting would wake anyone!!! There is also construction noise starting early morning and carrying on late into the evening. Dust is everywhere! It would be better if they closed the hotel completely, did a massive upgrade and renovation then relaunched at the standard you would expect of a Hilton hotel. Collapse

We stayed in the hotel for 1 week and had a very relaxing time, we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a sea front room, which was ideal, and it made our stay totally relaxed just having to step out he door onto the beach, which was clean and quiet, most of the time we had the beach to ourselves. Everything in the hotel was spotless clean and the gardens are well looked after, the food in the main restaurant is plentiful and there is something for everyone, Le Chalet on the beach was very good for lunch on the beach and the Lebanese restaurant (Al Jazera) was fantastic, we didn't eat in the Scirocco bar as sadly it was taken over by smokers (dissapointing that smoking is allowed indoors). The staff are all very friendly and attentive and can't do enough for you, we were very well looked after by our room attendant Munesh, who left our room sparkling every day, Sourav (Le Chalet) and Kushal (main restaurant) always ensured we had everything we needed at the restaurants, all in all staff were great, room was fab and hotel very relaxing. Arrived at the hotel after a night flight and was welcomed with a drink. Check in was very straightforward our room was not ready but they still managed to get us to our room hours before check in time. We were lucky enough to be upgraded and had a lovely large sea view room. On my birthday we were given a cake to celebrate and the cleaner decorated the beds with a flower display. The main restaurant can get busy at times but there is plenty of choice of food for breakfast lunch and dinner. The kids section is a little limited though. For lunch we dined in the Chalet restaurant by the main pool and beach. Here we met Du (Dupita), she could not do enough for our little girl who is an extremely fussy eater. Daily she would travel to the main restaurant to collect her meal, encouraging her to eat and entertaining her. She is a real credit to the team. The pool was lovely with lots of beds, never a fight to get a sun lounger. We particularly liked the large bed sun loungers as they were perfect for our 7 month old. We stayed all inclusive and he drink choice was excellent although there is only one choice of beer. The scirocco bar was pleasant and had some entertainment however, it is a shame they allow smoking in there as it puts people off go, and sometimes it's too hot to sit outside. One other small complaint about the bar is the all inclusive was until 12am and at 11:45pm One night I was told the bar was already closed. Other than that the staff are good and it is easy to get drinks. Not sure why people complain about internet, it was good for us and what we need to use it for on holiday. All in all a great stay and would definitely return. Collapse
