Blooming lovely! New and modern facilities, lovely treatments and a beautifully warm hydro pool! I was pleasantly surprised by the eforea spa as usually hotel spas are only ok. This one is fab! I will definitely be back! We attended on a Thursday and there were only a handful of guests which was great. It is quite small so I imagine the weekends could be busier. We had lunch in the cafe which was reasonably priced and tasty. Overall a great little spa! Perfectly formed, friendly staff and very relaxing. Collapse

We stayed at the Hilton Ageas Bowl for business. It is a very nice hotel - very open, welcoming lobby, modern, clean, inclusive of all amenities. The best part about this hotel is the staff and service. The best I've had anywhere. Each one I cam across went able and beyond. This goes for any staff member we encountered - at check in, at the restaurant (breakfast and dinner), concierge (assistance with locating a service we required outside of the hotel), meeting room service. It was all wonderful. Thank you for making our experience better than we could have expected. Collapse

On a mix of holiday and work we hoped around south west of the U.K over our Thanksgiving weekend. First stop was the lovely Hilton in Bath where the situation is the inverse of this one. Not a great hotel building, but incredibly accommodating and gracious staff. Unfortunately not all can be vacation and we got closer to London for work by staying at this Hilton in Southampton. New facility is new and very pretty. The staff not so much. Like we are bothering them. We are Hilton Diamond members. So we expected a nice club. Again this was not the case. As other travelers have noted it is open very short hours in morning and afternoon and offers very limited options food wise and staff. In addition the wifi is capped at 3 MBps that by today's standards is barely acceptable. When not working I don't care about the wifi speed, but when I come to work and stay at a Hilton I expect more, a lot more. The Hilton at Seúl had incredible speeds. This is by far the worst one I have been too overall. I don't take more points because the hotel itself is nice and new. The design is well thought out and can't find any mayor problems with anything. But, in the middle of the lobby there is what may have been a massive leak of water that damaged the ceilings. No apparent call for repairs have been made and looks bad as like nobody cares. Would I recommend it, no. Would I come back, no. There are plenty of Hilton hotels in UK to feel unwelcome in this one. I'm a local to this hotel, and I frequent at the health club across the road. The Hilton being built was an exciting prospect for the area. I was excited to learn of the new amazing spa too. The staff are welcoming, warm and attentive. The spa reception do a great job and make you feel at ease and pampered, all communication before my previous visits has been spot on via phone and email. I've visited 4 times, first with my friends and family for my hen party a month after they had opened. I couldn't fault it. I visited a further 3 times for a girls day, a couples day and a relaxing afternoon with another couple. The spa is great, but the afternoon tea a serious problem. I have dietary requirements, and for some reason EVERY TIME the spa cafe chefs have little to no understanding how to get this right. I communicate the requirements over the phone or by email, when i check in at reception I clearly can see the reception have it written down. but when i get into the cafe they bring me the wrong afternoon tea EVERY TIME. THERE LITERALLY isn't enough free champagne and complimentary visits which can make up for this happening 3 times in a row! I'm angry that such a reputable name can let this happen. I have brought it up with the management and they promised me a FREE complimentary visit to prove to me they can correct past mistakes and put proper rules into place for their staff. The weekend just gone on Saturday 26th November 2016. I was offered chicken and ham sandwiches and dairy cakes on my VEGAN afternoon tea. i pre-booked, so i expected something special, in the end all i got was fruit, one tiny cake and lettuce and tomato sandwich. POOR SHOW. it's such a shame, and I do not write this lightly, as the rest of the hotel is stunning. But if you get this wrong for me 3 times, what else are you serving people for dietary requirements and allergies? I've got nothing left to say but, DO NOT EAT HERE if you've got allergies, they need to sort out their chefs pronto. Collapse
