I was at Hilton today for my IELTS exam, as soon as I arrived at valet, the first comment was mam if you are here for IELTS the valet fee is AED 40, thats fine I asked the gentleman to go ahead and take my car. Nonetheless, after the exam was over the examiners were distributing papers for free valet parking...my first thought was miss communication between the events team and front office. I went along with many others to the valet desk, providing our valet parking card and the free valet parking paper with the Hilton logo. The valet guy smiled and said sorry this is only for self parking, please pay 40. I paid 40, and he gave me my key indicating to me with his hand where my car is so I could go get it myself. So here is what I would love to understand, why are these vouchers printed, is this to misleed British Council that their booking at your hotel includes parking for their attendees? Because I have also attended another IELTS exam at a different hotel where valet was included. Second of all what sort of valet parking is this that i need to pay 40 for handing my car key to me to go pick up my own car! And just a note, of advice this is certainly over priced other hotels are changing 20, and if this is the service I paid 40 for i would've rather bought my self a coffee on the way out and gotten the valet stamp rather than paying 40 to collect my own car. I hope this doesn't bring to your intentions that money is the issue here, because I don't mind paying thousands but to get a service I expect well done. And this is not the fault of the valet gentlemen that are not enough by any means to go get all the cars or to inform your guests of these weird rules you have in place. Collapse

I've never been able to fault the Hilton Chain until I stayed here. I've stayed at the Hilton Hawaii, the Hilton LAX airport (even that was more quiet with aeroplanes flying over your head) The Hilton Jumeriah Walk, Hilton Garden Dubai, Hilton London, Hilton Miami, Hilton Barbados, lets just say I've stayed at a lot of Hiltons, but this Hilton has really let the Hilton name down. After initially getting over the fact that the Wifi never seems to work when your on the beach and ringing for a bucket of ice that still hadn't turned up 12hrs later, I've gone on to suffer 3 nights with no sleep, because some idiot 18/19 year old boys that decided to behave like 10 year olds on a school camping trip. This is meant to be a five star hotel, well they need to downgrade it to a 3/4. For the last few nights until gone 3am in the morning this bunch of idiots have used the corridor of the hotel like it was a school playground, running from one end of the corridor to the other, banging on each others doors, slamming the doors behind them, shouting at the top of there voices for hours late at night. I have serious sleep deprivation and feel like I've been staying at a student hostel and not a five star hotel with security and cameras. What is the point of having security cameras in the corridors if the only thing security is monitoring all night is his Facebook page and Instagram, makes you wonder if your safe sleeping in your bed at night. I had to come out of my room last night and ask these young men to have a bit of consideration for other guests staying at the hotel. Then security turns up followed by management, security response to manager "yes sir there was 5 of the males in the corridor". Oh so you did see them when you eventually bothered to do your job. Really really disappointing for the Hilton Chain, this place really lets the name down and I won't be staying here again. The reception staff are really nice but apart from that, I wouldn't recommend this Hilton Hotel its not worth losing your sleep over and going home frustrated and with a headache :( Collapse

People are really friendly and helpful. We had executive lounge access included in the room rate. It's nice if you like to have breakfast with a beautiful view of the sea. Also - it's quiter than the main restaurant. Collapse

I choose this hotel because of the proximity to Emirates Palace. It has a nice private beach club, although you have to cross under the highway. My biggest concern is security. My key kept becoming demagnetized, which lead to unnecessary tripe to the reception desk, over and over again. One thing whihc really annoyed me was the voucher I was given as part of my rate package. They deduct a 20% service charge from the value of the 200AED voucher. Seemed unfair Collapse
